Liam, sitting back calmly in his wheelchair, nodded. “I’m a fast learner, husband\~” Amelia’s back arched at the word. She shivered. “Don’t call me that.” “But you didn’t say that earlier.” His voice was teasing. Knowing his true nature now, Amelia no longer bought the innocent act. She struggled to sit up, intending to drag herself to the bathroom, but her entire body was still tingling, numb and weak. With a resigned groan, she slumped back onto the couch. “Fine. Carry me, your husband, to the shower!” She heard the wheels of his chair rolling closer. Her eyes snapped to the wheelchair parked by the couch. "Can't you not use it for a while?" “Nope.” Liam smiled. “I can carry you just fine like this.” “Fuck you…” “You promise not to curse.” “Are you even human?”
