We made these buttons extra large and easy to tap on phones and tablets because we know many of you love reading on the go. ✨ Enhanced Author Support Features We’ve also added a dedicated author section, making it easier than ever to support your favorite writers. You can now follow authors and leave tips with just a few clicks. The layout adapts seamlessly—whether you’re on desktop or mobile—so the experience stays smooth no matter how you read. This new section gives readers a direct way to support authors while helping writers connect better with their audience. 🐛 Essential Bug Fixes Sometimes, it’s the small fixes that make the biggest difference. Here’s what we’ve tackled: Browser Tab Titles Fixed We fixed that annoying issue where browser tabs showed the website URL instead of proper page titles in the library page. Now, your tabs display clear, meaningful names so you can easily find what you’re looking for. Duplicate Comments Eliminated No more accidentally posting the same comment twice! We resolved the bug where comments and replies would duplicate if you clicked Submit too quickly. 📝 Improved Text Formatting In review sections, we’ve improved how rating text displays by fixing whitespace handling. The Honest Truth I need to start with an apology. When we first launched, I promised this would be an ad-free experience. That was a genuine commitment I made to all of you, and breaking that promise doesn't sit well with me at all. Here's what happened: our community has grown beyond what I ever imagined it would. That's incredibly exciting and humbling at the same time. But with that growth came expenses that honestly caught me completely off guard. Server costs, bandwidth, maintenance, security – everything scaled up faster than I anticipated, and my available resources just couldn't keep up. I've been losing sleep over this decision for weeks. I explored every alternative I could think of, but ultimately, I had to face the reality that without some form of revenue, we'd risk losing the platform entirely. How We're Handling This I know firsthand how frustrating it is to navigate websites cluttered with intrusive ads. You know those sites where you can't click anything without a popup appearing, or where ads redirect you to random pages? I hate those experiences as much as you do. That's why I'm committing to keeping our ads as light and non-intrusive as possible. We're talking simple banners, clean placements, and absolutely no popups, redirects, or any of that annoying stuff that makes browsing a nightmare. Right now, we're in a testing phase. We're carefully experimenting with ad placement to find the sweet spot where we can generate enough revenue to keep the lights on without ruining your experience. Your feedback during this phase is incredibly valuable to us. The Path Forward This isn't our end goal. I'm actively working on implementing community support features – things like optional donations or premium features that don't affect the core experience. If we can raise enough through these alternative methods, I'm committed to removing ads completely. I really hope you'll stick with us through this transition. Your support means everything to this platform's survival. For Our Ad-Block Users I get it – I use ad blockers too. They're essential tools for a clean browsing experience across the web. If you're using one, I completely understand and won't judge you for it. That said, if you're willing to disable it while browsing our site, it would genuinely help keep this platform running. Our ads are designed to be light and unobtrusive anyway, and we keep most personal pages completely ad-free.
