Chapter 2:

I walked into the room where everyone was gathering. The person who bumped into me before was the protagonist, Kobe Yoshito. The story didn't mention anything about what happened before the test, so maybe this is one of the switches that made her try to get help from the protagonist? Probably, when you've been with that demon for too long and in constant fear the other human presences can ease up the feelings, giving her the thought to find help from a strong human.

"Pay attention! I will be this year's supervisor for the new students, I am Nakanishi Yuu! You can call me Mr Yuu! You may be nervous but don't worry! There is still next year if you don't pass the requirement! You pass the requirement, you will be accepted to the academy!"

"Sir what is the requirement?" Someone asked.

"Got a minimum of two stars in this magic crystal! The adventure guild also had something like this or If you rich enough you can buy one as well in case you failed this year! Star is like another measurement that some Academy had, it counted overall abilities of someone or how rare it is. Most commoners have either zero or one, noble blood usually have two, and talented people depend on the rarity of the talent, and this is why in the game story it was more noble less commoner.

Another person with a robe beside him started shouting names on the list he got, the first one I know is a girl with short yellow hair. Her name is Fujita Hikari, an extrovert, her strong element is the rare electric magic. She got four stars. The Second person up is Matsubara Mari with five stars and will boast about it for a while.

After her is my turn, I go to the front and touched the magic crystal. Slowly connect my mana into the mana flow inside the magic crystal, the star light up to three. I disconnect my mana flow with the magic crystal and get back to my previous position, I passed by another heroine I know. That girl with long green hair in a ponytail is Sakaguchi Mayumi, a wind element user, she got three stars. 

And at last after others have taken their turn, it's time for the protagonist. Black hair and user of all elements Kobe Yoshito, with an undiscovered star because the magic crystal exploded when he touched it and surprised everyone in the room including me even though I already know it will happen.

“he-he broke the crystal?!”

“?!”

“Interesting commoner”

‘still the same as the story’

Yoshito looked at the Mr Yuu and asked.

“ummm do I pass?”

Mr Yuu had a hard moment to think if he should let Yoshito pass the test. 

“... Kobe Yoshito was it? You will be allowed to join the class until the decision from the Headmaster dropped, you pass for now”

Hearing the answer from Mr Yuu, Yoshito smiled happily. But as every decision has a sequence, some of the people that did not pass the test weren't happy with it and shouted their thoughts, thankfully whoever it's quickly dispersed by Mr Yuu ending the evaluation.

 The applicants who passed the test are staying in the room while the other applicants who do not pass need to leave the academy to maybe try next year. As there is no quota of people needed each year the numbers of students being accepted vary, for example the previous year was 21 students while this year is 17. Because of that the dorm building is one with the seniors, and here I am still in the evaluation room sitting on my chair because the plot is different. In the original story the dorm room isn't shared, and in this world it is and right now the roommate for the dorm is being picked by Mr Yuu, either it's fortunate or unfortunately I'm in the same room as the original mc Kobe Yoshito because we're the last one.

I look down at my sword on my right hip, this sword is given to me by that demon as a “gift”. It may look like just an ordinary iron sword but this sword is made of a special type of material a dragon heart. I know this information because when she went missing there was a temporary mission for the mc, by doing this mission then he may get the same sword I'm holding which confirms that it's the same demon.

As I deep in thought Yoshito greeted me, getting me out of my thoughts.

“Ahaha… nice to meet you, I'm Kobe Yoshito the one that will be your roommate, as we have difference between us please take care of me”

As I coldly look at him, what I think of him is that he is actually a decent person up until now. I may be in the same room as him but in the original story I will be in a different classroom but because the people that passed the evaluation are only 17 while in the original are 24 which mean then I definitely will be in one classroom with him. 

“Shizuki Aoi” I replied.

Mr Yuu clapped his hand to gather our attention.

“Okay! You'll be guided to your room and your baggage will be delivered as well so take a rest for today and tomorrow we're gonna do some sparring!”

Sparring just after being accepted as a student is the tutorial part of the game, you will learn the basic combat from the sparring. I wonder who's gonna be my sparring opponent.

The new students are being guided to our rooms by the dorm manager, our room is numbered 22. Yoshito opened the door and entered first, inside the dorm room there were two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and one bathroom. This dorm room is more spacious than I expected, it's also better than the place I used to live before reincarnated. And for why the kitchen there, it's because you need to cook your food yourself while in academy, for what reason? It's because as an adventurer you need to cook for yourself while on a journey, in the game this is also being explained but not added to the gameplay.

“Which one are you gonna take?” Yoshito asked me.

“Closest from the door”

The present became yesterday and the tomorrow became today. Right now I'm preparing myself to take a bath but hearing a water sound from the bathroom I look at the other bed and find it's in a mess with the person nowhere to be found, which in this instance means he is inside the bathroom.

“....” I may not look like it but I like it when it looks neat and clean before work messes me up, maybe I can relieve that feeling a few last times now.

So I cleaned up his bed and mine, there were some clothes above the bed but I smelled them and put the kind of sweat smell to the bucket for his dirty clothes and the clean one I stacked it above the bed, this overall process doesn't take too long.

“... I over done it” I look around the room and it has been cleaned up by me without me noticing.

And then just as a perfectly timed bathroom door opened, I turned around to see half naked Yoshito get out of the bathroom wearing only a towel.

“...” I just stared at him wondering if there was something wrong with his head? Why doesn't he wear clothes inside the bathroom?

“hm? Ah Aoi good morning”

“...good morning” I forgot he was a dumbass.

“Next time wear your clothes inside the bathroom, another female will be mad at you if you did this” I said to him as he was dressing up wearing the school uniform.

“Why?” The dumbest said calmly with no shame.

“They can see your thing when you change” I said as I turned around with my clothes and towel in hand moving to the bathroom.

The dumbest look down to his private part, embarrassed, and constantly repeating apologies from outside the bathroom until I came out and promised to start changing in the bathroom.

I finished my bath at around 6 in the morning. Thankfully the city has a big clock tower so I can tell time from far away in the academy, the sparring starts at 8 so I got 2 hours to spend.

The uniform and information about the time is being given to us in the middle of the night. I was still awake at the time because I was researching a way to remove the curse while he was still sleeping loudly.

I even put a silence spell on him.

“Du– Yoshito instructor said sparring at 8”

“You know it from where?”

“The instructor comes in the middle of night and tells me, also where do you get that uniform?”

“Oh yesterday when I about to go to training ground in the afternoon Mr Yuu called me to meet the principal and I got

it from them”

“... I see.” That's still in the plot right? My mind is slowly forgetting the game story, I wonder why.

“So umm Aoi what are you gonna do?”

“maybe walking around the academy familiarized with areas, how about you”

“go training! So see ya later on the sparring!” He ran out of the dorms.

“...” He forgot to eat breakfast, well maybe he will get one on the training ground.

I walk to the kitchen, and look around for ingredients… which are none to be found…

“hah… seems like I need to go to the market in the morning…” I checked my pouch and there were a few coins just enough to get small groceries, this not gonna be enough.

But luckily an idea struck me, not far from the academy there is an adventure guild, they can make ID to enter a dungeon no matter the age as long as you have the skill to back it up. So with that grind mind set I take a robe covering my entire body and sneak out of the academy to make adventure guild ID and go back, just a simple register and go home kinda thing.
