Chapter 8:

POV Narator

Yawn can be heard from what a look like an office, there this person, everyone called this person as Shikikan and now Shikikan is waking up from it's sleep while being surrounded by paperwork. 

"Mm... Is it morning already?"

Shikikan look around the office, and found someone is also sleeping inside the office, also surrounded by paperwork as well. Oh it's seems she waking up.

"yawn good morning Shikikan"

"Good morning Irian, thanks for helping out with all of this paperwork"

"No problem Shikikan, if only I know it will be this many I should also asked Nusantara to help us"

"Well she seems had so many in her thought, so give her some space for while"

"Shikikan, for once again I said thank you for accepting my faction to be part of this alliance, even with Nusantara ridiculous condition"

"ahahaha... no problem"

Yesterday

A fleet of Garuda Union arrived at Azur Lane base, waiting for them was Shikikan and two other shipgirls, Prince of Wales and Hood.

Meanwhile in other side Nusantara panicked inside her head after seeing Shikikan for the first time. Her thought are probably this `Shikikan is male?! Why male?!, why exist?!` or something like that.

But even though she feel discomfort, she must up hold her duty as the negotiators together with Irian and had meetings with him to discuss what her faction wanted.

Meanwhile Shikikan watching her expression and confused by it.

"umm did I do something to make you feel discomfort?"

Shikikan said to Nusantara.

"Ah? Ah nothing, nothing, it's fine"

It seems Nusantara was stuck in her mind and didn't noticed she already in front of Shikikan. Looking at Nusantara state, Irian look at Nusantara with worried look, and decided to spoke for her.

"Nice to meet you'll, my name is Irian, and her is Nusantara. We are from Garuda Union, pleased to meet with you"

"Yes pleased meeting with you as well Irian and Nusantara. My name is ########, you can call me Shikikan instead"

"I'm Hood, pleased to meet you"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Prince of Wales. So about the meeting, how about we get into better place for discussion quickly to resolve this faster?"

"Well then, guide the way"

So the four shipgirls and Shikikan decided to walk together to the meeting room.

POV Shikikan

We all facing each other in the meeting room while I'm the only one sitting here, from my view Nusantara is right in front of me and Irian right on her right. While on my left is Hood and on my right is Prince of Wales. 

"Now we can start the discussion... where should we begin with?" I asked

"We should begin with our offer as the host of the meeting Shikikan" Wales said

"Well then, we Azur Lane offered you place to that stay and a supplies, in exchange we want your cooperation in our situation"

Nusantara suddenly become serious, the aura she had is different, I'm bit surprised by it.

"What is your situation? we need to know what we got into after all"

"we're currently in war"

"Against siren, we know that"

"No, it's again the Red Axis"

"Red Axis... Care to explain?"

"The Red Axis is collation between the Sakura Empire and Iron Blood. One day, they attacked this base and declared war on us the Azur Lane"

"So which part of my faction play?"

I look at Wales and confirming the question Wales predicted beforehand when we talking in private between us. She nodded when I looked at her and I look back at Nusantara.

"We need your faction to help us with the fight against our ene-"

"My faction only will help with your war against siren, but for those fight against Red Axis, we will not do it"

".... I don't wanna say it for classified reasons but, for your knowledge for being in our place, the Red Axis is using siren technology"

"So?"

That surprised me, she didn't look surprised by the reveal of Red Axis using the siren tech. Looking at Irian thought, she seems a bit concerned by her eyes going back and forth.

"We want your faction to dealing with the siren while we dealt with the Red Axis, how about that?"

"But you said it yourself Red Axis is using siren tech, do they classified as siren in your eyes then?"

"No they are not, they are still a shipgirls to me. What I wanted is your faction to fight the siren they comes with and not them"

"That's a tricky one, you offered. Irian please continue it on my place, you will decided the rest, I need to leave for a bit"

I see Nusantara walk to the door and Wales said.

"Hold up, where you thinking you're going"

"Not your matter to thinking about me"

And just like that, Nusantara left leaving me lost for word. Quickly recovering from that I look at Irian seeing her keep looking at the closed door. I feel bad about saying this but, we need to continue with the meeting.

"So Irian, can we continue?"

Irian look at me, then look back at the door, then at me again.

"Hah.... Sure, let's continue with our discussions"

Few hours later...

"So we reach the conclusion, so the results are Garuda Union will help in the war if deemed essential, by the observer and Garuda Union is joining the Azur Lane and gain every benefits the members get. Is that it?"

"Yes"

Irian confirming, we all look at each other confirming this is the results of today meeting.

"Finally we're done"

I stand up from my chair.

"Ah now the paperwork..."

"Shikikan I can help with that, thanks for accepting my Faction into this"

I and Irian leave to my office, while Wales and Hood need to report to their perspective leader.

Shikikan office

We arrived there and the paperwork is already arrived and placed on my table.

"I guess we start now then, if you had any trouble just ask me Irian"

"Sure Shikikan"

Back to present...

"But I wonder where she went..."

I spin my chair and look at the window, but instead of the usual scenery there Nusantara looking at me from the window.

"Umm hi?" I said.

"...." She not responding.

I knock on the window, and she jolted surprised and run away. Seems like she is absent minded and surprised by the knock.
