A corpse that looked just like me appeared before my eyes.
My head spun at the sight.
"Humans without Halos die easily. Like shards of glass."
"...Then what is this? Is this my future?"
If so, it doesn't make sense.
Even if my Halo disappeared, there's no way I could be dead.
"I told you. This is just another possibility, another future."
"And don't be surprised yet."
"The story hasn't even started."
"This is the Engineering Club."

Guided by Yuuka, we arrived at our original destination, the Engineering Club, after completing the check-up.
For the record, there were no abnormalities in the check-up.
Just a slight bump on my head.
They also measured my height...
"I guess it's understandable..."
Let's just say my height became unexpectedly shorter.

I was able to commission the wheelchair without worry.

Judging that they could handle it, I left the Engineering Club with Yuuka.

After finishing our business at the Engineering Club,
I came to Seminar, where Yuuka works, to wait for Sensei to finish his work,
but I'm not sure if I should really be here.

Yuuka sat me down on a nearby sofa and went back to her work.
In the end, I had no choice but to lie down on the sofa.
