2 - Auyaya!! Ttaing-uya!! (Someone save me! An employee is harassing me!)

I was playing Lobotomy.

That’s how I spent all my days, cursing White Night and sleeping deeply. 

But one day, when I opened my eyes, I was in a white room.

And then, White Night blessed me and spoke to me like a Jehovah’s Witness, and that’s why what happened in the previous chapter happened.

As soon as I woke up, so many things happened that I felt overwhelmed.

And worst of all, my memories became fuzzy.

All I could remember was that I used to be a man, and that I cursed White Night at every opportunity while playing.

And that’s why I decided to reassess my current situation.

The person working so diligently in front of me was probably an employee. 

He kept talking about Insight work or something, but that wasn’t the biggest problem.

To stop the annoying thing from flapping again, I bit it with my mouth.

At first, when I joined the company, the people around me congratulated me for being hired by one of the Wings, and I felt proud of that.

But now everything’s different.

From people going insane, to horrific monsters known as 'abnormalities' that kill people as easily as breathing. 

Even if you survive by sacrificing others, in the end, you’ll end up becoming a monster yourself.

"A new abnormality... I hope I make it out alive…"

Handling a new abnormality usually ends with the loss of at least one limb or severe sanity damage.

That’s the norm, and if you’re lucky, you might get out somewhat stable, maybe with something strange stuck to your body, only to die later.

At worst, you’ll wish you were dead.

Following the manager’s orders, when I entered the room to work with the abnormality, what I saw was...

'...A girl? Maybe an abnormality similar to Laetitia?' 

The abnormality in question was a girl with white hair and contrasting red eyes, dressed in robes similar to a priest’s. Floating above her head was a halo, just like a stereotypical angel.

Also, judging by the wings on her back, aside from her eyes, she was a girl of pure white!

Her cries were loud, so loud they hurt just from hearing them. Although luckily, there was no mental contamination in them.
