Vol 2: Chapter 6: The Fallen Hero's Beginnings
AN: Everyone loves the hero Hayato (so much so that many people wish for his death)
The Saint and The Hero of Salvation
The Fallen Hero's Beginnings
It had been three days since the Hero of Salvation and the Saint of Devotion arrived in the royal capital. It was the day they entered the royal castle. When the two arrived in the afternoon, the castle was in an uproar. Now, amidst all this, here was a room in the royal castle.
There were more than ten naked women lying around in the room. The beds were very large, and even if several women slept together, there was plenty of room. In the center of the beds was a man.
His name is Hayato. A year ago, he set out on a journey to defeat the Demon King, but it's been about a year since he returned to the royal capital, and now he's living a decadent life with women in broad daylight, which has led to him being scorned by the people as a fallen hero.
"...Tch, everyone has been so lax lately, it's really making me depressed."
The hero had completely abandoned the polite manner he had maintained during his journey and spat out in a bored tone. The reason he had become like this was after Hayato and his friends had been deceived by the client at the Fire Dragon Cave a year ago and returned to the royal capital.
After watching with satisfaction the shameful execution of the magician that had deceived them, they had originally planned to resume their journey, but the four of them became so absorbed in indulging in their desires that there was no one left to urge them on their way.
Meanwhile, Hayato, who was no longer satisfied with just these three girls, began brainwashing the women of the royal capital one by one, making them his prey.
In particular, she took an interest in seducing the females of couples who were in love with each other, or married women who were rumored to be in a happy relationship in the royal capital, and when their husbands or boyfriends got excited and came to the castle, she took pleasure in having them taken away by bribed guards and tortured them.
(The funniest thing that happened this past year was when I stole the wife of a couple while she was pregnant. The husband started telling me that his wife and him already had a bond of love, but when I used Finne's abortion magic to destroy that bond, I still laugh at the look of despair and stupidity on his face.)
Hayato chuckled. His face was distorted hideously, and seemed to be filled with desire and malice.
(When they were a couple in love, I told the guy that we made love and that I impregnated her with my seed. As soon as I told him, he went crazy and ran off. I wonder if he's still alive.)
The hero Hayato recalls how he had not spent the past year doing anything good, but right now he is feeling dissatisfied. This is due to his sudden fall in fame among the people and his current appearance.
The abdominal muscles that were firm a year ago are now loose and sloppy, he has stubble, and his face looks lifeless. The only exception is the lower half of his body, which is still erect as it was a year ago.
Hayato kept women as his attendants and enjoyed any woman he saw, but he looked like a total loser. And because Hayato himself was vaguely aware of this, he felt even more empty and unfulfilled.
Hayato was also a man who was called a hero. He had a certain amount of self-respect. He wanted to train his body again, get his beautiful body back, and resume his path to becoming a hero. That desire is still there.
However, he is unable to move because the brainwashed women constantly touch his body and stimulate his desires, and Hayato himself soon loses control and falls into a vicious cycle that sees him slip back into a decadent lifestyle.
Hayato's heart was eaten away by the frustration of wanting to do something but not being able to.
Among them, Hayato himself was interested in the name of the Hero of Salvation and the Saint of Devotion, which was currently the talk of the town. A year ago, when he was traveling, he had never heard of such names.
Around the time Hayato became corrupt, the two began to stand out, defeating powerful foes such as Galf the Wind God, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King who was operating in the shadows of Wind Hill, and Neriev the Ice Demon, who was also in the nearby Endo Village, and saving the people of the surrounding areas.
The story reached the ears of the king, who was so delighted that he invited the two of them to the royal palace.
He felt jealous of the two who were working so bravely, leaving him behind, but what was unusual for Hayato was that he felt a genuine desire to see the two heroes who had achieved such greatness.
Hayato had hopes that seeing them would help him stand up again and join the ranks of heroes. He thought that by working hard together with people who shared the same aspirations, he could rise again.
However, he was too proud to show his current appearance to the two heroes. Although he wanted to meet and talk with them, he decided to just watch them from a distance.
--And then the time came.
The commotion in the castle reached its peak, and while the nobles gathered around the king's chambers, the man and woman at the center of the rumors entered the chambers. Hayato saw them from the second floor of the chambers using a magical tool that looked like binoculars.
One of them was a beautiful man in silver armor. Hayato was somewhat confident in his own looks, but at first glance he realized that he had no advantage over the man.
I felt intense jealousy, but the more level-headed part of me was telling myself that it was foolish to be jealous of a man who was so far removed from me.
His toned body was obvious even through his armor, and the sword at his waist was obvious even from a distance; Hayato, who had a fair amount of combat experience, could tell it was a powerful weapon.
Hayato was also surprised by the man who was called the hero of the world's salvation, but the moment he moved his binoculars on the Saint of Devotion, he experienced a different kind of shock than the man.
(--What?! That's ridiculous! That's ridiculous! Am I dreaming...? Because, .... she is ... was...)
He was so shocked that he dropped his binoculars. Through the lenses of the dropped binoculars, there is the face of a man who had seen something impossible. The Saint of Devotion was someone he knew.
She seemed more mature than she had been a year ago.
She was even more beautiful than she was a year ago.
A year ago, there was a growing radiance of strong will.
And then, a year later, the one and only pure saint who had fallen out from his hands.
The true identity of the Saint of Devotion is Aria's younger sister, Christina, who was once in his party.
"...fuh... kufuku... kuku... hahaha..."
A laugh spilled from Hayato's mouth. It was a cry of joy, a cry of jealousy. What did Hayato think when he saw the two heroes?
--It was the lust of finding again the girl he had foolishly missed out on in the past.
In the end, Hayato couldn't change. He had long since lost the desire to look up to the two heroes and strive to improve himself. But it wasn't just lust.
In order to recapture his lost prey, Chris, he is a man who can cast aside his immediate desires and do his best. He overcomes his desires of improvement for the sake of his filthy desires, almost like a beast, but that is the man Hayato is.
Hayato leaves the King's Chamber. He will now thoroughly train his body again, so that he can meet the devoted Saint again in his former body. He cannot show his sloppy body to her, even though they will meet again after a long time. That will not be enough to seduce the Saint.
“Ahh… I’d forgotten how this felt… So Chris has come back to be my woman after all. I’m so happy… You even went to the trouble of putting up such a large-scale production to come and see me, in order to motivate me when I was feeling rotten…”
The crazy man's twisted delusions continue. No one can stop this man now.
Hayato asks the king to let the two heroes stay in the royal capital for a month so that he can train them thoroughly. The only reason he gives for keeping them is for his own appearance, and the king is reluctant.
However, this king was also the kind of person who could be called a foolish king, and after hearing convenient words such as "having two heroes in the royal capital would increase the king's dignity," he readily agreed.
Thus, Chris and Aleph's journey to save the world was interrupted for a month. This was a huge loss for humanity, but Hayato didn't care.
During the first few days of training, while he was in the middle of the training, the brainwashed housewives, the noble daughters of the royal capital, Aria and the others were getting excessively physical with him in order to have sex with Hayato.
But once again, Hayato had clad himself in a mind of steel in order to seduce Chris, and immediate temptations no longer had any effect on him, so he never once gave his body to the girls.
Hayato had developed the throbbing in their bodies so that they could no longer bear it, and so they spent a month alone comforting themselves.
And so, with each passing moment, the evil hand of the hero Hayato crept closer to Chris...
AN: A hardworking loser. It's okay if a loser is a loser no matter how hard he tries.
