Vol 3: Chapter 6: Confronting The Beloved
The Atonement of the Guilty
Confronting The Beloved
The three of us were about to leave the inn to resume our journey to save the world.
However, our departure is delayed when a woman suddenly appears at the entrance to the inn.
The person Chris was talking to right now, with tears in her eyes, was... Aria. My former fiancée, the person I loved, and...
The woman who laughed at me, pushed me off a cliff, and betrayed me... Now she was happily chatting away with Chris, who was my everything. It was extremely unpleasant.
I feel like I want to tear that filthy woman away from Chris right now, chop her up into pieces, and throw her in the sewer, but I can't.
Because Chris doesn't want that. The annoying thing is that it seems like Chris still likes that trashy woman, Aria. So it would be outrageous to kill her because of my feelings.
But... if she is abandoned, that won't be the case. If she is abandoned by Chris, who is known as the Saint of Devotion and is filled with love, then I will give her the final push with my own hands.
"Aria-nee-san... there's actually someone I'd like to introduce to you."
"Chris, why are you acting so serious all of a sudden...? Is there someone you want to introduce to me?"
"Yes, that's right. I think it's the person you most wanted to meet."
Chris smiled brightly at Aria, then looked at me.
If Chris wants to introduce me, there's no reason for me to refuse. I head over to where Chris and the others are.
"Now, Nee-san. Let me introduce you to him. He is known as the Hero of Salvation. His name is--"
"...No.. No way..?! Could it be...Aleph?!"
Murder rose up in my heart as the woman interrupted Chris and called my name. For someone like you to interrupt Chris... how much more angry do you need to make me?
"Nee-san, you're amazing... how can you tell it's Aleph?"
"That's true... His hairstyle and facial expression have changed... but there's no way I could mistake anyone for Aleph!"
"Fufu, you really are Nee-san. It reminded me a little of the old days."
"C-Chris... I, well...I ..."
"When it comes to Aleph, Nee-san is never wrong."
The trash girl Aria and the saint Chris continued to chat. All the while, I kept looking at Chris' face. She was still my goddess. Beautiful...
"Aleph... I know this must be hard on you, but..."
Chris spoke to me awkwardly. Don't make that face. Chris's cutest face is when she smiles.
Having completely killed my emotion for Chris, I turned to Aria and greeted her.
"Hey, it's been a while... Aria."
When I said that in a brusque manner, Aria approached me with tears trickling down her face and a disfigured face. I poured my heart and soul into killing the feelings that made me want to kill her.
"Aleph... I...! It's me! Aleph... I... I'm sorry. Finne-san is now. ....and Lily-chan ......., so they can't apologize anymore... but Aleph is here now... so..."
I was so desperate to kill my emotion that I missed what the bitch had to say... but it shouldn't matter.
All I need to know is that the face, full of tears and snot, is disgusting.
"I see."
For now, I gave some suitable reply. I don't hear what she was talking about, but saying "I see" will usually get the conversation flowing.
"Ugh... Aleph... Aleph! I'm sorry! I'm sorry...! I did so many terrible things to you, said so many terrible things to you... I tried to kill you..."
You didn't try to kill me, you killed me. Don't get your words wrong, you slut!
I died there. And then, thanks to Chris, I was brought back to life. Now Chris is my everything. Filthy woman like you is no longer even a childhood friend, what is she thinking?
"...I see."
I said the same thing again. I couldn't yell in front of Chris, and yet, having denied accepting her apology until the very last moment, those were the only words I could utter.
This trash... I'll probably forgive her. Not because I was fascinated or anything like that, but because it seems like that's what Chris wants.
If that's what Chris wants, then my feelings being pushed down are a trivial matter. If she forgives, then I have to forgive too... But If she is going to harm Chris, then I just have to kill her.
So, that's why?
If it's for Chris, I'll make any formal reconciliation you want, you little scumbag Aria. But remember, if I could kill you, I wouldn't have any hesitation.
You should be truly grateful to Chris.
The conversation between Aleph and Aria is so funny...!
Aria cries and begs Aleph for forgiveness. Aleph has dead eyes and just says "I see" to Aria's words. They're so stupid.
Hehehe, this tense atmosphere is the best! If it has nothing to do with me, then do more! Just kill each other, you fools!!
However, I, the audience, am getting tired of the one-liner conversation. Please entertain the audience more. This is what you third-rate people are like.
Now, I'll start working towards my emotional finale. From now on, Aleph will have to endure more and more pain.
Why? Ever since he got the Hero skill, he's the only one being praised. You would want to bully that cocky Aleph a little, right? It's because he's being pushy despite being my dog.
The plot has already been decided. Too bad!
"Nee-san. The reason I introduced you to Aleph is because I have something I want to say to you (I'll go into
).""There's something you want to say to me?"
"Yes, that's right. Nee-san... you remember what you did to Aleph, right? (And while I'm at it, I'm going to mentally torture her a little to relieve some stress.)"
"...Yeah, that one...I don't want to think it was me...but I do remember."
"Is that so? In that case, let me say this... Nee-san. (I'm going to make you dance thoroughly to my beautiful acting.)"
This is where my show begins with a bang. Come on!
"What kind of face are you making as you apologize to Aleph? What you did... is past the stage where you can be forgiven by apologizing (dance around, you damn bitch - become the foundation of my beautiful acting!)"
"Huh? Chris...?"
It's Saint's time!
There is no particular difference between normal Saint Mode and Saint Mode II.
