Epilogue
A short distance away from the royal castle, four figures were walking along the road.
One man, two women, and one girl who was still old enough to be called a child.
They are a group of heroes on a journey to save the world.
The man at the front is named Aleph.
He is also known as the Hero of Salvation, and is a rare genius. With his incredible physical abilities and holy swordsmanship, he has defeated powerful foes such as the Wind Demon Galf and the Ice Demon Neriev, known as the part of of the Demon King.
The woman walking a little behind him... Her name is Christina.
Clad in a pure white nun's robe and imbued with holiness, she is known as the Saint of Devotion and saves people.
She's like a symbol of salvation.
At the same time, she is a pillar of the party.
She is said to have the heart of an angel, as her soul is pure and without a trace of blemish.
The woman standing next to the Saint of Devotion is named Aria.
She was a member of the hero's party that was the talk of the town a while back, and was praised as the Sword Saint.
Although she is one of the heroes, she doesn't have a very good reputation.
It was rumored that, despite her role as the sword saint, she had holed herself up in the castle for over a year, engaging in lewd acts with the hero. The fact that maids and servants had actually seen this scene had also led to the rumor spreading.
Call it a rumor, but it's true, so there's no excuse for it... When the king announced to the people that Aria would be joining the hero's party, half of them were happy, and the other half were grim.
Most of the criticism came from men who said, "That whore have no place at the party for a great hero!" and from jealous women who said, "That lust-crazed woman must have come here to target the hero who will save the world!"
Aria was still in a difficult position...
Whether or not she can regain the public's trust will depend on her future actions.
And the girl next to the Saint is named Reno.
She was saved both physically and mentally by Chris in the slums, and now depends on her with utmost affection.
To the people, she was just a girl with no information about her outside of certain slum areas, so even if she had just popped into a party, it wouldn't have been a topic of conversation.
In truth, she is a somewhat dangerous girl who killed the hero Hayato, but even the Saint is unaware of this fact, and she herself has no intention of telling her. She pretends not to know anything and continues to depend on Chris like a girl her age.
Chris and her friends resume their journey to save the world and head to the water city of Aquarius.
It was apparently a beautiful city of water, but it was taken over by the Four Heavenly Kings of Demon King and has now turned into an unimaginable demonic city.
Many brave adventurers have set out there, but none have returned... Since no one has returned, no one knows what the situation is.
It's a dangerous place, but Chris and her friends move forward without hesitation.
It looked like she was passionate about her mission to save the world.
Now, the heroes' next deadly battle was about to begin...!
Volume 3 is over! I wonder when the next one will be...
