Chapter 64: Saint Anastasia
Saint Anastasia
The heroes defeated the evil god.
The god desperately appealed to Alto and the others, saying things like, "If we talk, we can understand each other," and "The mastermind behind this is that female servant."
But they were unwilling to answer any questions.
The battle was one-sided between the heroes.
The evil god was unable to absorb his subordinate, Tiana, and so although he was resurrected, he was in an incomplete state.
If he had eaten her, the evil god would have got some of his strength back.
If he had done that, he wouldn't have had to act so humble.
By being killed by the hero, because his family refused to become nourishment for their master, whom he could not resist.
After defeating the evil god, the Demon King revealed many things to the hero and his party.
Tiana had told the Demon King most of the story before the final battle.
The heroes were moved to tears by Tiana's final wish.
"Tiana...why?! Why didn't you tell us?!"
During his meeting with the Demon King, Alto collapsed to his knees.
"Being killed by the hand of her beloved is the last selfish wish she could make. What a pitiful woman she is."
"Ahh...ahh...so you really did love me...even though I had done such horrible things to you so many times and then hidden it...ahh...ahh!!"
Death of the Saint
The news spread quickly.
The shock within the kingdom was tremendous, and the queen's state of panic was particularly severe.
When the queen heard the news, she collapsed to her knees and burst into tears.
The palace was instantly filled with sadness.

This was because Tiana had already taken on over her duties as Cardinal before joining the hero and his party.

She had excellent qualities that were not inferior to Tiana's.
After completing a certain amount of training, Anastasia was placed under the care of Tiana's parents.
At first, Tiana's parents were shocked, but after hearing about Anastasia's situation, they treated her kindly.
Anastasia, who called Tiana her mother, looked up to them as grandparents.
The news of Tiana's death deeply saddened her parents and Anastasia.
Shortly thereafter, Anastasia is recognized as a saint by the church headquarters.
Then, the executives asked her to join the hero's party.
Among these requests were irregular visits to the Demon King's castle.
Tiana hadn't forgotten to hand over to the Demon Queen, her replacement for the treatment.
"Mother knew she was going to die...that's why she sent me to the church..."
Realizing this, Anastasia ran to the hero.
The hole left by the saint's absence from the hero's party was large.
At the same time as the evil gods appeared, monsters all over the country became active.
Although the situation had peaked, Alto and his friends continued to travel around the country fighting in the still unstable environment.
However, the group's movements lacked precision.
Although Asha can use healing and support magic, her specialty is offensive magic.
Everyone missed Tiana.

Alto was shocked to see Tiana's resemblance in Anastasia.

But she had skills Tiana didn't have.
She has many outstanding skills that she acquired while working in the underground industry.
Unlocking treasure chests and doors, disarming traps, sneaking around, quick attacks, inflicting status ailments, and more.
None of these things were available to Alto and the others.
Although she was not on par with Tiana as a healing support, Anastasia contributed to the hero's party and quickly became a part of it.
As this happened, Anastasia learned that Tiana loved Alto.
Alto saw Anastasia as Tiana.
Alto and Anastasia.
They are both missing pieces of the puzzle.
As they healed each other's wounds, it was only a matter of time before they developed that kind of relationship.
But between the two of them, that thirst will never be sated.
As long as they continued to hallucinate Tiana on the other side of the other person.
