Chapter 96: New Version "Learned"
"Pendulums this time, huh."
Beyond the giant seesaw jump across the canyon, what awaited was an area with five massive pendulums, each about ten times the size of a character, swinging back and forth. At the feet of the players were conveyor belts moving in opposite directions, and one after another, players who mistimed their steps were smacked by the pendulums and sent plummeting into the canyon below.

I slipped into the very front, ahead of the players who were waiting for the pendulum to swing past.

Top Chat: Hey wait
Top Chat: He grabbed her!
Top Chat: Elf-saaaan!
"I fell."
The player lined up right behind me grabbed hold of me, then just tossed me straight toward the pendulum, which sent me flying down into the canyon.
Top Chat: Never leave your back exposed
Top Chat: Yeah, that was a little careless of her
"This is hilarious!"
Top Chat: And still in good spirits
Top Chat: She’s actually excited about it
Top Chat: Looks like something about this just clicked with Elf-san
"Alright, time to hurry back to the frontlines."
The respawn point from the canyon bottom was right before the seesaw. Apparently, I had to do the canyon jump again.
Top Chat: Hang in there—
Top Chat: Go Elf go, go Elf go!
"Big brother."
"Mm, Kyo—... Siren."
Waiting for me, as I returned with a barrel to the seesaw’s start, was Kyouka.
Top Chat: Their second encounter

"Why are you here?"
"I also got unlucky and bounced back in the pendulum area, so I got reset with the whole zone."

Top Chat: Threw Siren into the canyon lol
Top Chat: Second time didn’t go so well for her
"Alright, here we go, time to jump!"
I hopped right onto the seesaw. Ready. Now to throw the barrel—
"Whoa!"
"You let your guard down, Elf!"
Right before I threw it, a flying barrel smacked me off the seesaw.
Top Chat: Kirishi-tan!
Top Chat: Where did she throw from!?
Top Chat: She tossed it from the top of the giant alarm clock in the Bell Area
Top Chat: From way over there!?
"Fufun. Sniping is my specialty! Of course I can hit a seesaw that I know you’re going to stand on!"
Top Chat: Reminder: Kirishi-tan once got countered by Elf-san in the Gun Field when she landed
Top Chat: Ahh, so this was payback lol
Top Chat: Nicely done, Kirishi-tan!
"Mm, got me."
My character, dazed from the barrel, refused to respond to inputs, little chicks circling around her head as she staggered about. Seems this lasts for about eight seconds.
"Big brother."

Top Chat: Siren
"Why are you here?"
"Because—"
Top Chat: Siren smiling, holding a barrel
Top Chat: W-wait, we can talk this out!
Top Chat: Yeah, that usually means no talking lol
"Because you dropped me, big brother!"
Top Chat: Aaaand down she goes
Top Chat: As expected
Top Chat: Elf disappears into the canyon
Top Chat: Revenge chain continues lol
Top Chat: Well, after being thrown this many times, she should be able to say she "learned," right?
