A few days later from the Calamity Incident, everyone was called to the meeting room once again.

Everyone's hologram already appeared and we're just waiting for Professor Livia right now, which is unusual.

"And this guy doesn't even know Twelve true identity. Seriously I want to burst out laughing at that time."

"Hey stop bringing that up. I admit I'm not that interested in politics. In fact, I don't even know who are the bigshots in my own country. I'm just focusing on fighting D-Mons."

"Wow, people like you really exist huh, hahaha. You are interesting, hahaha."

While waiting, the seat No.6, the scythe woman, made fun of seat No.3, the gauntlets guy, about things from that day.

"I'm so envious, personally invited by the President of the country and eat at the finest restaurant in China. Ahhh, if only my goverment didn't send me to clean up all the Rift that opened in my country, I would have also joined you guys."

"Ugh please don't refer me like that. I'm just the Twelve here. A Sacred Weapon User same as everyone else."

"Twelve is really different from your common trope of head of country figure huh."

They continued to chat until Professor Livia showed up.

"You're all here already. Good, I will say it straight. Great jobs to six of you who defeated the Calamity. That is a great feats for your first encounter with it."

"Hohoho, this old man didn't even do much. I only gave the finishing blow. It's these five kids who did all the heavy lifting."

"It's fortunate that Nine, who know things about it, was with us there. Or else we would continue to struggle endlessly."

"That's right, Professor, you should've told us about it too, instead of just told it only to No.9. Playing favorite is bad you know?"

Because of their words, now all eyes in the room, including Professor Livia were directed at Master.

"Ahaha."

What a dry laugh.

"..... Alright. Now that that guy already appeared, I guess it's time to tell you all a little Origin Story."

What Professor Livia said instantly take everyone attention.

"That guy, you mean the Calamity?" Müller-san asked.

"Yeah. Since this world already come to this point, you all have the right to know things.

All the Users, the twelve of you, and Sacred Weapon No.9 to No.12 all come from this dimension and didn't know anything about them.

I'm sure Sacred Weapon No.1 to No.8 already familiar with this story so you guys can decided whether you want to tell everything you knew to your user or not to fill in the gap."

Everyone tensed up with how this is going.

I guess everyone already realized the meaning behind those words.

No.9 to 12....

So then, like Professor Livia, the previous Sacred Weapon were created and came from another dimension.

And the implication that Professor Livia only bringing the Sacred Weapons, but not its previous Users, can only be considered as bad ending for those dimension.

We don't know how many dimension she had gone through before reaching this dimension, but considering that she created four of us in this dimension meant she at least have been in two dimension, or more, before here.

"First of all, what do you guys think are the material to make a Sacred Weapon?"

Professor Livia begin her story with a question.

"A soul?" Seat No.3, the gauntlet guy, blurted it out.

"Yeah, that is one. But a soul is only the inside of the Sacred Weapon. I'm talking about the vessel. The soul is only a controller for the rawest power of the other material."

"....Calamity."

Though with hesitation, Seat No.8, the bow guy, answered.

"Exactly.

The principal is the same with D-Gears, just the scale is on another level.

I'm not some powerful entity like Fairy King or Goddess that can grants power from thin air. I can only l give a usable form from what was gathered by the Users before you. That is the corpse of Calamity D-Mons."

She then continued talking about characteristics and level of Calamity and it's special power that different from one to another.

In fact, what we were fighting a few days ago, in Professor Livia's words, was the most weak and common Calamity.

That one doesn't even have a special ability. Regeneration is the most common features of all Calamity.

She described the Special Calamity have various power that is breaking the law of nature and physic.

She revealed the Calamity Origin of each Sacred Weapons such as Sacred Weapon No.1 that was from Special Calamity with ability similar to black hole, that it can suck anything it targeted into nothingness.

Sacred Weapon No.8 which was from Special Calamity with ice power, just by getting close to it, all kind of life form is frozen from inside out.

Sacred Weapon No.12 that was from a rare Support type Calamity. It didn't have that much destruction power like other Calamity, but it can strengthen all other D-Mons around it until they become almost half of Calamity level.

And many other Origin of Sacred Weapons. But when it comes to my Origin, she only said I was from a frightening Calamity, the ferocious of all Calamity, and didn't elaborate what was my special power is.

She also told everyone the method of defeating Calamity. The same with what Master said the other days; killing through pure brute forces, or with special power of Sacred Weapon No.1.

But she added one more method.

"I really don't want to say this method because how dangerous it will be for you, even so, do you still want to hear it?"

Professor Livia have a very complicated expression when she said this.

No one said anything.

Everyone here had already made their decision the moment they became Sacred Weapon Users.

Seeing the stubbornness of everyone to hear it, Professor Livia opened her mouth.

"By deactivating the Soul, you will become the Calamity."

""!!!""

Everyone expected that, but hearing it straight from the creator of Sacred Weapon herself was still a shock.

A soul is the limiter for the rawest power of Special Calamity.

We all can imagine what would happen if that limiter is removed.

Another Calamity will emerge using the User's body.

The clash between Calamity will happen.

"I don't know how much your body can handle, but death should be the least of your worry if you ever using this method.

Just one wrong move, we will have two Calamity at once that are going to destroy this world."

Professor Livia stood up.

"So I beg you all. Don't you ever use that method."

Everyone stunned.

It is the first time we ever see Professor Livia begs. She even bowed down her head.

I was reminded.

When I first became a weapon and then killed so many candidates before I met Master, it's not because Professor Livia thought human lives as expendable things.

Master told me the truth that despite Professor Livia conduct of craziness, she was always the one who saw through the process of cremation of all the victims and cried for them.

She was just that desperate to prepare for next Disaster.

Professor Livia loved all of us.

She loved humans.

"Livia-sensei, rise your head and look at us."

After a long silence, Master finally said something.

Professor Livia raised her head and I wonder what was inside her mind at this moment, where everyone just looking at her with smile as if they understood her feeling all along.

"Do you think we are the type who would break down that easily?"

"Although our initial reason in becoming Sacred Weapon User may differ, we already agree to walk this path together."

"Well, I guess we don't have a choice other than becoming stronger so that Professor doesn't have to worry about us too much."

"We may not know what you had gone through before. But we can feel how much you care for us. For this world."

"We love you too, Professor Livia."

Some said their pieces, while the rest just nodded in agreement.

"You guys...."

Professor Livia holograms was shaken, it was unclear whether it was a glitch or she was crying, but no one want to call it out to her.

"Just like how you entrusted the Sacred Weapon to Humanity. Once again, will you place that trust to us, Livia-sensei?"

"Aomi?"

"I--, no. We promise you. This world will the last world you ever need to be. So trust us, Livia-sensei!"

Everyone nodded to Master's promise.

Professor Livia was silent. She bowed her body again, but this time was not to beg.

".....Thank you."

After saying that, her hologram was gone.

Now it is only 12 of Sacred Weapon User in the room.

"Nine, you seems really close with Professor Livia."

"Eh?"

Out of nowhere, the seat No.10 said that.

"Ah, well that was--"

"You don't have to explain anything. I was just saying that because I was wondering if you know anything about how to become stronger.

One to Eight's Sacred Weapon was from other Dimension and have their previous Users so they must have known the method to become stronger from their experience.

But our Sacred Weapons are from this dimension and we are their first User. So did you hear anything from Professor Livia of how to become stronger?

Although your promise to her representing us is kind of one-sided, I plan to fulfill it no matter what."

"Hmm, I think I know a few things--"

"Hey, Ougasahara, don't talk it just to him. Share it with everyone."

Seat No.8 interrupted when Master was about to tell No.10 something.

When Master looked around, she finally noticed that all eyes are on her once again.

"What is it? Are the favorite child being naughty and want to monopolize the method of becoming stronger."

"Count me in too, Nine!"

"Me three!"

"Me four!"

"Just say it that everyone want to be included in this. Come on, you already lead us in that Calamity once, what is the difference this time?"

"We also want to keep that promise to Professor!"

Master looked around once again and only see the warm and genuine expression from everyone.

Master couldn't but smiling. "Ahahaha, as expected, I really love you guys."

Master stood up and walked towards Professor Livia's seat.

She stood there, now that it was easier for her to see everyone from that position, she once again smiled with confidence.

"Now, let's begin the special meeting between All Sacred Weapon User, shall we?"

It was almost night when the meeting discussing method of becoming stronger ended.

It's not only Master who give her information, all the others Sacred Weapon Users from One to Eight also share the method they knew from their Sacred Weapon.

Though there are some difference and maybe incompatible method, everyone take a note seriously and I could say it was a pretty meaningful discussions.

Right now, me and Master are inside black sedan car, in our way from the base to somewhere.

There was some slight disagreement between Master and Yuzuhara-san, but after Master told her the content of the discussions between Sacred Weapon Users, Yuzuhara-san let her bring me out of the lab with a promise to bring me back for check up every once a week or after battle.

The car stopped and Master get out of the car, of course, while holding me.

We are in front of a Hospital.

["Master?"]

"Let's go inside, Ixy."

The moment Master passed the entrance door, the receptionist quickly recognize her.

"Ara, Aomi-chan konbanwa. You come earlier today huh?"

"Konbanwa Fumi-san. Yeah, my business ended earlier today so I want to quickly come to see him. Can I go?"

"Of course. There is no one out there who would stop you from seeing him."

"Thank you, Fumi-san."

After that Master walked towards the elevators and get in.

'Him'?

Who are they talking about? Does Master have a family that was hospitalized here?

Now I think about it, I don't know anything about Master outside of her duty as my User.

In today meetings, one of the method to become stronger is by deepening the bond between the User and the Sacred Weapon.

One way to do that is by knowing more about each others.

I wonder if I should tell her something about my past too.

"We're here."

Without I noticed it, we already in front of a patient room door.

"The first thing I want you to know about me, I guess it is my reason to be Enforcer. To be your Master."

Master opened the door and we go inside.

The room is just your usual patient room. A set of medical equipment that track the heart rates of the patients. Only one bed here, and someone was laying there, unmoving, other than his chest that indicating that he is still breathing.

Wearing a loose blue patient gown, he's just sleeping, or maybe, in coma.

The condition of his upper half is fine. But the lower part....

"He is Ryuu-kun. He is my reason to fight the D-Mons."

.... both of his legs, up to his knees are gone.

"An atonement for my sins."
