Within a Story World different from Britannia, a few minutes before Arthur saw the fall of his precious Archducal mansion after his heroic fight….

Guilty Gear World, European Continent, Kingdom of Illyria, City of L'oro Di Illyria

<System alert!>

<System alert!>

<The Observation Anchor {Shigaraki Sora}'s premature use of the Class 27 Mystic Armament {Caliburn} to fight the Event Boss and attempt to resolve the Demon Incident has been detected!>

<It is estimated that the chances of his alien identity being discovered by the will of the World of History have increased by 4%. It is recommended that you place further restrictions on him...>

-Oh, shut up, useless IV... the public likes this kind of chaos anyway. I also don't want to restrict Shiso-kun too much, and those possibilities are total garbage.

<.....Understood>

A woman with a goddess-like figure, who called herself Lady Chaos, clicked her tongue as she muttered to herself that she really should convince Kaede to give her system a better personality when she had time.

While reflecting on what had been said, she walked with calm steps through a crowd of Illyrian civilians as she calmly headed towards what looked like a traditional Chinese restaurant in the middle of a square in the city of L'oro Di Illyria, being practically the only oriental-style building in the surroundings.

It was undoubtedly a beautiful coastal town, with striking buildings in a visually pleasing style, along with what looked like tourists admiring the view and a woman painting the landscape. However, she wasn't paying attention to that at all.

People passing by looked at Lady Chaos with expressions of equal parts awe and wonder, both because of her incredible beauty and most likely because of her long, elegant white dress with red stripes, which clearly looks like a modernized imitation of the typical witch stereotype from old tales of yesteryear — except for the lack of an exaggeratedly sized hat that she should have according to that scheme — having instead a rather elegant-looking hat, apparently to cover herself from the bright sun.

Coupled with his mask of the same color as his outfit that hid his face, he certainly seemed like a suspicious person no matter how you looked at him, especially when he was muttering things to himself without a care in the world.

...It's not like one more handsome guy with strange clothes and behavior in their ridiculous magical world is going to cause everyone to raise a fuss over his presence. Perhaps that's why their attention didn't last long on Lady Chaos, who ignored them from the start in favor of living in her own world.

Shiso-kun used Caliburn to try to resolve the event, huh... which means he'll kill the demon almost as quickly as it appeared, I guess.

Since Betano is a count of some influence and a general in that crazy marquise's army, it's only natural that killing him would grant him a large amount of points, so perhaps I should hurry up...

After all, those points should at least allow her to summon two out of five characters from this story world to Britannia, and it would be bad if she couldn't because of "A Glitch in the Grid" due to the Demi-Servant experiments Kaede-chan wants to perform on Earth... I must carry out my work in this timeline before that happens.

Anyway, once this problem is solved and Shiso-kun can safely start summoning his Servants, those idiots from other realities should be very happy with the result and will naturally throw us a lot of existential points in abundance !

I just hope the upcoming Nao raids against the Human Order go as smoothly as they have so far... I hope I don't have to escape with the others and what's left of humanity to an uncertain fate in space if all else fails, after all... Would Hakunon-san be coming with us, anyway? I don't want to lose that cutie, Shiso-kun would surely like to meet her~

Whatever... If it comes to that, I'll fight the Moon Cell and kidnap it.

In the meantime, I'd better focus on getting these five individuals instead of thinking about those things. I can't stay in this place for too long and  cause too many contradictions in this timeline... It would be problematic if it collapsed and the throne of heroes destroyed our precious heroic spirits as if they were mistakes as a result...

That's what happens when you simulate a parallel world based on a hypothetical and unlikely future... It's so unstable and incompatible with the current Human Order that we have to expend additional magical energy just to trick the nuisance that is Alaya!

If it weren't for how absurdly strong certain Guilty Gear heroes are...

—And...

Lady Chaos continued to think deeply to herself before sighing and stopping at the establishment she was heading to.

With a red and black color scheme on its brick walls and a gabled wooden roof, just like its owner's dress, the two-story restaurant looked quite quaint.

Especially with those little golden bells placed in some places around the establishment as decoration.

Lady Chaos adjusted her hat as she thought to herself tilting her head.

I remember the Laplace Files saying that Jam-san's previous restaurant burned to the ground in a relatively recent fight with some random guy...

...poor Jam-san, he really tries hard to create a nice place for everyone to cook, only to have it destroyed later by some idiots with no respect for other people's lands, what a bad joke.

I won't deny that it's a bit funny, though... as you'd expect from this recurring character in that old game, even this joke still continues in this Laplace-simulated Story World even though it should be a functioning reality thanks to our kitty Schrödinger….

Shaking her head at her overthinking, Lady Chaos simply stared at the restaurant whose sign read 'The Dragon's Dinner', and quietly passed through the entrance curtains with a slightly mocking smile on her lips.

Inside, there were three rows of tables divided into nine, with six seats per table. And among them, there were already a relatively good number of customers eating the Chinese delicacies that the skillful and beautiful cook Jam happily prepared for everyone.

The antique style of the place, which embodied the Chinese culture she was so proud of, was also quite beautiful, and if Lady Chaos had anything to say, it was that she liked what she saw.

Though inside the place, for some reason, what sounded like a 20th-century folk song was playing, which seemed a bit odd considering the interior design. He wasn't sure if it was one of the songs featured in the game, and he was too lazy to access Laplace's Archives and obtain that information just out of curiosity.

Huh~? Isn't that the so-called time traveler from the 20th century or something?... I remember his name is Axl Low, what a stupid name. I hope I don't end up as a Servant card in the future, since two characters capable of using time manipulation powers is just boring... Luminia-san is enough for that, thank you very much!

While watching a certain time traveler happily enjoying his ramen (?), Lady Chaos's attention was suddenly drawn to the sight of a girl dressed in an even more bizarre manner than her own, skillfully moving around the tables of the place using what looked like... yo-yos? like some sort of motorized skates while skillfully delivering the dishes she was carrying to the customers.

The dishes he carried and their appearance were pleasing to the senses.

Then he saw her, opened his eyes for a moment, and finally started walking towards her with a smile.

It's actually quite strange that someone is using handcuffs as a belt or something similar... although it's normal for fighting game characters to have such an eccentric appearance, right? I guess they're supposed to attract attention... It's a good thing I'm different, hahaha.

That was what Lady Chaos hypocritically thought, as she watched that 'girl' stop near her with an excellent demonstration of skill with her large Yo-yos, maintaining an incredible balance on them.

The girl is wearing a black high-necked shirt, under a long white basmati cloth top with a black shawl collar and a ribbon that appears to be from the Empire line, along with a dark gray pleated skirt.

In addition to all that, she wears a large, light-blue hoodie resembling a veil design. The body of the jacket is blue, and its puffed sleeves are white. On the white hem of her hood, which resembles a coif, is a gold accessory with an androgynous or transgender symbol, while gold crosses adorn the elbow-length sleeves.

He also wore fingerless gloves that were white in the palm area and a handcuff belt with a chain attached to it.

His boots, socks, and lycra shorts were pretty ordinary compared to everything else.

Was it due to his own eccentricity or to his group of friends, who were even more eccentric?

'She' didn't seem to react badly to her witch outfit and suspicious mask, treating her like any other customer as a tender yet energetic voice came from her lips, making her even more charming to people. "Can I help you, customer?"

-Of course, Bellarose-san, I'm here to do business with you, and only you. As a skilled bounty hunter, you're just what I needed~ - Lady Chaos's pair of eyes now resembled a multicolored rhombus that rapidly rotated in different directions as she stared at this strange waitress.

-...huh? Is it okay, I think~?

Looking at the “girl”… no, the effeminate boy who was looking at her in bewilderment with his finger on his cute little mouth slightly open and his eyes now similar to hers, Lady Chaos just smiled seeing that things would be relatively easy with this prey.

-Oh, but first, since I'm a customer here, I'd like to eat any of the delicacies Jam-san cooks here~
