Chapter 1: The Beginning of a New World

 In time of the sun goes down, an analog clock pointing to five thirty. The sky turns orange as darkness slowly crawls in, slowly turning into nighttime. A Horse Girl sitting on a bench, ponder and look at the three goddess's statue.

The horse girl pondering in question is Speed Joker. She has long dark grey hair, a body height of one hundred and fifty centimeters, and age at seventeen years old. She was clasping together both of her hands, and closed both of her eyes with blue pupils.

She said this in her heart: “Why does the world need racer like me? Why do I turn into a horse girl when I was reborn here?” Speed Joker slowly straighten her back, slowly open her eyes, and look at the three goddess's statue. There were no response after she gives her thoughts to it.

Speed Joker stand up from the bench, went to the academy sidewalk, and went to the entrance gate of the Tokyo Trancen Academy. She walks past there, exits the area, and went onto the public sidewalk. She looks at her smartphone: there was a single notification from a chat group called ‘Tristan Star Racing’.

She tapped at the notification, transitioning the display from home screen to the chat app. Inside the chat group, there were many users are online, and one of them is the racing engineer. His name was Tanami Hideyoshi.

Tanami said in the chat group: “Kei-san, are you here yet? The night race is about start soon. Everyone here is waiting for you.”

Joker tapped the virtual keyboard on her phone screen, typing her message, and then give her reply by sending her message: “I’ll be there soon, Tanami-kun. Just hang tight.”

 She put her phone into her skirt pocket of her uniform and continue walking forward. About ten minutes of walking, she arrived at a bus stop, and waited. As she rides a public bus on her way to the racetrack. The racetrack she is heading to is the newly open motorsport racetrack: Daiban Raceway, open outside far from Tokyo.

The Racetrack is around twelve kilometers long, with thirteen curves, and eleven straights. This is one of the most highly anticipated motorsport fans in japan are awaited for this moment. A new organization also born to suite its needs for this sport. It is name: ‘Japan Motorsport Organization’.

There are many new racers, mostly human, with all of them are men. Currently, there is around seven teams participating in the race, which are: Jouhan Racing Academy team, Ino One team, Thunder Group team, Qiuhan Veil team, Dexter Torres team, Ravenwest team, and Finally Tristan Star Racing team.

The public bus stop at its bus stop. Speed Joker step out from the bus and continue her way by walking. When she gets near to this new legal racetrack, and it is the biggest one she seen in this life. Before she goes into the Daiban Raceway facility, she went to the Customer Service and get her access card.

Once she gets her card, she enters the facility by passing through security. Speed Joker on her way to the paddock of her team, along with couple stares from people from other teams, odds of having a Horse Girl (Uma Musume) joining a race other than running. She enters the room where her team is waiting.

Speed Joker closes the door, and wave her hand at her team racing engineer. She says to him: “Sorry for the wait.”

Tanami Hideyoshi is a veteran car engineer in his forties, with a very muscular body built, shiny brown hair and beard. He looked at Speed Joker and said: “Go get change. We still have thirty minutes before the race starts. Enough time to test out, and memorize this racetrack.”

Speed Joker nodded and went her way into the changing room. In the room, there was four professionals' makeup artist waiting for her. Their names are Izumi Rei, Hideki Oijan, Kaede Tashi, and Koji Ian.

Izumi Rei bow her head to Joker and said: “Welcome, Miss Joker.” She then raises her head, extend her arm and open her hand towards to the empty chair. She continued: “We will get your make up shortly. Now please take sit and relax.”

Five minutes passed. Speed Joker make up was done, it was her disguise as a man, along with fake identity name of her: Kei Eida. Her feature of her face is fully hidden with a manly silicon mask. Her long grey hair and horse ears is now hidden inside. It turned into a short black hair, along with human ears.

Joker looked at the mirror in front of her, and smile to Rei. She said this to her: “This is amazing, it doesn’t look like me at all.”

Rei patted her chest with pride, and she says: “Of course, that is why I’m proud with my skills.”

Kaede walk out from wardrobe, carrying a racing suit for Speed Joker. She said to Joker: “Miss, the suit is ready.”

Speed Joker grabs the racing suit, and the long cloth. She went into the changing room and start changing. It takes about three minutes until she is done. Speed Joker look at the mirror in the changing room, with her chest is now flat as many men in the world would after wrapping it with the white cloth.

She steps out from the changing room and grab her helmet. Izumi Rei waved to Speed Joker and happily said: “Good Luck, make sure you do your best!”

Speed Joker waved back to Izumi Rei, and keep walking her way to the garage. In the garage, her car was ready. A custom-made sport car she made it herself by her hands, along with its engine build by her own hands. She put her racing helmet and fasten it.

Tanami holding his clipboard and look at Joker. He said: “The car is ready, and practice will start soon in one minute.” He looks at the mechanics underneath the car and turn on their flashlight, and continued: “We’re currently doing final checks on the car.”

Speed Joker step outside the garage and look at the spectators sitting on their seats. She spoke to Tanami: “That is a lot of audiences. A lot more than I expected.”

Tanami put down his clipboard on top of red metal table, and put his right hand on Speed Joker’s left shoulder. He said this to her: “Doesn’t it feels like a lucid dream? Because you're the one who make all this happened until now. Even after these pass three years of this sport dying to the death pits around the world. You revived it like a little boy’s undying hero.”
