Chapter 1: Becoming A Girl

Previous Chapter Next Chapter

1991.

Angel Baby Orphanage.

Vessey sat expressionless on his small bed, staring blankly, his large eyes filled with despair and bewilderment.

He never imagined he'd be playing at home when he time traveled.

Time travel would have been nice.

After all, he had no family before his time travel and was living on rent.

But he had gone from a robust man to a pretty girl.

It wasn't that he discriminated against girls, but rather that, as a boy, his sexual orientation was naturally feminine, and now that he was a pretty girl, what girl would want to look at him?

He wouldn't be able to find a man to live with in the future.

The mere thought of that possibility was unbearable.

He even considered dying prematurely and being reborn.

Seriously, how could he go on like this?

Just as Vesey was about to die, a mechanical voice echoed in his ears.

 [Ding, diary system linking begins]

[Ding, diary opening headlines: Albus Dumbledore (current Headmaster of Hogwarts)

Severus Snape (Potions Professor), Hermione Granger (Hogwarts Preschool student)]

Vessey was stunned.

Seeing the names the system was mentioning, all he could think of was something called "Harry Potter" from his past life.

Is this world truly magical?

Is it possible for him to become a man, then?

Forgive Vessey!

The fact that he had traveled through time and space as a child had already filled him with despair all morning.

[Ding, every time the host writes in the diary, a score will be generated based on the degree of belief. The higher the score, the greater the reward, including becoming a man.]

The system explained.

Vessey immediately recognized the diary system as his father.

"Any requests? Let me know now! I'll create a diary for you in minutes!"

He said excitedly.

[Ding, the diary system, as the name suggests, allows the host to write a diary. The host's entries are synchronized with those of all diary holders.]

[Ding, the host currently has two options.]

[One, the host can fake their identity to write a diary, as long as it's reasonable and the diary holders trust it.]

[Two, if the host uses their current identity to write a diary, they can choose to hide it from both diary holders.]

[Ding, only diary holders can be added, not deleted.]

[Ding, the diary holder cannot reveal any information about the host or the system to anyone else.]

Vessey looked at these prompts in surprise.

In other words, the system's existence is completely unknown to everyone except him?

This...

This is too good to be true.

At least he doesn't have to worry about someone discovering his system and killing him.

Having his sex changed is tragic enough. If someone else steals his cheat code and takes his life, he'd be the most pathetic time traveler in history.

Vessey reread the system's instructions and an idea occurred to him.

He planned to write the diary as a person from the future, posing as a passerby.

This would certainly make it more believable.

"My mind's made up. I choose the first option."

As soon as he finished speaking, a quill pen and a diary appeared before him.

[Ding, host, please complete your diary as soon as possible.]

[Ding, after completing two entries, another diary holder will be randomly assigned.]

[Ding, as this is the host's first time writing a diary, upon completing this entry, you will receive an additional identity: Harry Potter's twin sister.] Huh?

Vessey was stunned.

[Can identities be rewarded?]

[And can this reward be recovered?]

[I didn't want to be the savior's sister; wouldn't that be courting death?]

[Unfortunately, once the system reward was issued, it couldn't be recovered.]

Vessey sighed and accepted the identity.

[I didn't want to be the savior's sister.] He frowned over his quill, not writing directly in his diary. Instead, he reflected on how this diary could help him improve his current life.

This morning, when he traveled through time, he had a deep understanding of this body's past.

He had grown up in an orphanage, without a father or mother, with a simple and kind personality, constantly bullied.

That morning, while trying to break up a fight between the orphanage children, he was pushed down the stairs and died instantly. The one

who survived was the current Vesey.

If that were all, Vesey would, at most, retaliate against the child who pushed the original owner.

But this orphanage is also home to other illegal activities.

It is an underground industry that traffics children.

They even invite prominent figures to taste their "delicacies."

The original owner had been chosen as a "delicacy" just a week before, and plans were underway to arrange a visit from a prominent figure three days later.

Vesey had considered leaving since his time travel, but that morning he had observed the strict rules and realized the children were confined to the orphanage.

Any attempt to leave would result in kidnapping.

A friend of the original owner, curious about the outside world, attempted to sneak out.

She was detained at the gate and returned two days later.

She was found covered in wounds, unconscious during interrogation, and one day she was hanged in her room.

This incident tormented the original owner, and the mere mention of leaving made him tremble uncontrollably.

The original owner was still young and didn't understand what her friend had been through, but Vessey certainly knew.

It was obvious what a beautiful girl could do in a place like this.

Vessey's body was obviously incredibly beautiful,

And also incredibly fragile.

If she didn't find a solution in those three days, she could end up like the original owner's friend.

This was also the reason why she had attempted suicide before.

Here, she simply couldn't find a way out.

But now she had the system.

If she used it correctly, she could not only save herself, but also give new lives to the other children in the orphanage.

She had an idea.

 At the same time,

In the Hogwarts Headmaster's office,

Dumbledore was savoring a pile of cockroaches, lamenting how quickly time had passed,

When a black diary appeared before him.

Silently,

Not even Fawkes noticed.

Dumbledore looked at the headmaster's portrait beside him.

No one else paid attention.

"Merlin's Game?"

"The Evil God's Trick?"

He reached out and touched the diary with interest.
