Chapter 2: Granger’S Fear

London Street.

Granger Dental Clinic.

Hermione's eyes sparkled as she listened to her father describe the client he had met today.

Every now and then, she exclaimed,

"Wow, Dad, you're amazing!"

This made Mr. Granger smile broadly.

"What's that?"

Little Hermione suddenly tilted her head and saw a scene she had only ever seen on television.

A black diary floated before her.

She instantly imagined the purpose of this diary.

Open it.

And never reveal it to anyone.

She was a little skeptical and wanted to tell her father.

But as soon as she opened her mouth, she forgot everything she was going to say.

She ran down the stairs, ready to write.

But as soon as she picked up her pen, she realized she had forgotten how to write.

But as long as she didn't write about the diary, it wouldn't bother her.

"Is this the work of a demon?"

Her eyes widened in horror.

"Go away! I don't want to see you!"

She tried to throw the diary away, but her strength was too weak to move it.

Before she could think, the diary, without a breeze, slowly opened to the first page.

Hermione didn't want to read it, but the diary remained before her eyes wherever she went, forcing her to resign herself.

"Even if I'm a demon, there's nothing I can do."

She thought dejectedly.

She glanced at the diary.

Lines of black notes appeared in it.

July 5, 2023

Today I ran into the Potter family at the cemetery.

Harry Potter took the initiative to greet a Muggle like me, which reminded me of Vesey once again.

It had been 15 years since Vesey passed away.

I've had many friends in my life, and Vessey is undoubtedly the most special.

Especially since, as a woman, he married five women.

It's truly astonishing.

Even today, homosexuality is a very visible phenomenon, not to mention the fact that he married so many women.

However, what made me his friend wasn't the number of women he married, but the fact that he saved a Muggle like me.

And he did it with magic.

That's right.

It was Vessey who told me the word "muggle"; it means someone who doesn't have magic.

Vessey was a very powerful witch.

But when I met her, she was dying.

At the time, her wives were taking her on a journey, supposedly to give her a few last days of comfort. She saved me, and of course I was grateful. I even made many medicinal dishes for her to express my gratitude.

The medicinal dishes helped her feel less pain each day, and she loved me for that.

Little by little, we became close friends, sharing everything.

She told me she was Harry Potter's twin sister.

I heard that not even her parents knew about her birth.

Later, an accident occurred when she caused a magical disturbance. The Ministry of Magic found her and discovered she was actually Harry Potter's biological sister.

But no one knew exactly how she ended up there.

I asked her who Harry Potter was, and she told me he was the savior of the wizarding world, the brother who loved her most, and her most beloved brother.

I was very curious.

Since he was her most beloved brother...

She loved her brother, and he loved her more than her. Why wasn't Harry Potter by her side despite her condition?

She said that her brother, Harry Potter, was now the Minister of Magical Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic, a very powerful wizard. And this Harry Potter had no idea she was sick, and only thought she was having fun with his wives.

"What is the Ministry of Magical Enforcement?"

I asked curiously.

She didn't care about my anger.

She explained in detail that it was a department within the Ministry of Magic, staffed by powerful Aurors, responsible for apprehending criminals.

Suddenly it hit me: it was our Department of Public Security!

If that was the case, then her brother was the Minister of Public Security.

He was, without a doubt, a high-ranking official.

If I had had a brother as high-ranking as him, I certainly wouldn't have hindered his career.

But after spending more time together, I learned that Vissey didn't want to tell her brother this because she was worried he'd feel guilty.

She said that during the final battle, she had helped Harry Potter block the Killing Curse, a spell that kills people.

She had a talisman.

A professor named Snape gave it to her.

So she didn't die.

The Killing Curse was simply too strong.

Even if she hadn't died then, she wouldn't have survived for years.

As she spoke, she coughed several times, spitting out blood.

One of his wives, who told him her name was Hermione Granger, immediately wiped her mouth in concern.

I could tell Miss Granger loved Vissey very much.

Her eyes were red, but she didn't show it in front of Vissey.

So I became curious again about Miss Granger's identity.

I thought she was just an ordinary girl. How could a rich and powerful woman share her lover with another?

Vessey told me that Miss Granger was already Minister of Magic.

She was the only Muggle-born witch in history to become Minister.

I asked Miss Granger in surprise.

"Minister of Magic? How free you are!"

Miss Granger was silent for a long moment before telling me that she wasn't free.

She was very busy, incredibly busy.

But she would rather stay up all night dealing with official matters than not see Vissey.

"She doesn't have much time left," Miss Granger said, holding back tears.

"If she says something you don't like, will you put up with it? I can see she enjoys talking to you. She even told you about the wizarding world."

I didn't understand.

"Can't we talk about the wizarding world?"

Hermione shook her head.

It's not that we can't tell you, but we can only tell Muggles with magical relatives. After all, if everyone knew about wizards, it would be problematic.

I was about to ask if Vissey would be punished for breaking the rules and telling me these things.

Suddenly, seeing Miss Granger in front of me, I understood.

After all, Miss Granger was the Minister of Magic, so this little matter could certainly be resolved.

Miss Granger privately asked me not to ask Vissey about her previous magical disturbance, as it would only expose her greatest wounds.

At the time, I didn't investigate further, but I later learned that, until she was eleven, Vessey had lived in a London orphanage called Angel Baby, a shady industry.

Because of her beauty, Vessey was sent to a powerful figure.

He abused Vissy. If Vessey hadn't unleashed a magical attack and killed him, she would have been...

Still, when the wizards found Vissey, she was already close to death.

From then on, Vessey developed a terrible fear of men, refusing even to touch her own brother.

I remember the time Miss Granger told me about it: July 8, 1991.

Miss Granger remembered it vividly. She told me that if she could go back in time, she would kill those people herself and avenge her Vissey.

Unfortunately, those are just words; after all, it's all in the past.

I think Miss Granger is already dead.

The year after Vessey died, she committed suicide in his grave, ending her short life.

I suppose she must have loved Vessey deeply, right?
