Chapter 4: Confiscating Crime Tools

Vessey clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.

But just at that moment, he suddenly remembered that the girl he couldn't help but fall in love with was him.

He sighed.

He had always been snooping around on girls, but now he was a girl.

Vessey, who could have freely admired that face, suddenly lost the desire.

When would he finally have a brother?

Hermione, now eleven.

Ginny, now ten.

Luna, now ten.

Fleur, now thirteen...

She was so out of reach!

Vessey wiped away his bitter tears, consoling himself with the thought that even if the boys in his year had it, there was nothing they could do about it right now.

All he could do was sing, "What good is this iron rod to me?"

That's right, it definitely wasn't jealousy!

"Knock, knock, knock!"

Just as he was about to cry, there was a knock at the door.

Confused, Vessey walked over and opened it.

It was the Headmistress's mother.

There's a letter for you—it seems to be from Hogwarts School. I rejected it for you!

Vessey was speechless.

Luckily, his performance was divine; otherwise, his face would have fallen.

 Damn.

This old woman not only opened her mage card, but also wrote a rejection letter.

She's completely crazy.

If it were a normal school, wouldn't that have completely eliminated her chances of getting in?

No, even if it was a mage school, if Vissi hadn't obtained the diary system, this woman could have ruined it.

"Vessy, it's not that Mom doesn't want you to go to this kind of school. Mom's doing it for your own good. I've never even heard of this kind of school. Who knows what would happen if you went there?

And you're such a lovely girl, staying in a place where you don't know anyone! It breaks Mom's heart just thinking about it!"

Vessy laughed to herself.

It sounded so real.

And what about that unknown place, that school you've never even heard of?

Damn it, when he opened someone else's letter, why didn't he consider the immorality of this behavior?

Besides, anyone who truly cared about their son would take him to school and ask around.

How could someone simply call him unreliable and then refuse to give him the letter?

Knowing what the headmistress wanted from him, Vessey couldn't help but ask,

"Which school can I go to?"

A smile immediately spread across the headmistress's face.

"Vessey, you're in for a surprise! Mr. Antoya, the director of the Foundry Academy, will be here in three days.

He'll recruit students with good character and good academic performance. If he's interested, you can go to the Foundry Academy."

Vessey wanted to curse,

but decided against it.

By the time he wrote his first diary entry, he'd already created an image.

Kind, straightforward, polite, sensible, and obedient...

In short, all the good words could be applied to him.

After all, if not, how would future generations remember him?

And he just needed to maintain that image.

So he said it was fine and that he would please the gentleman, but inside, he sneered.

The principal's malice was almost exposed.

Almost any adult could understand what she said.

   Isn't that fair...?

Hidden rules?

But doing this to such a young child was pure brutality!

After dismissing the headmistress, Vessey returned to his room and went to bed.

He had no intention of taking over the orphanage just yet.

Although he already had the Obscurus, he could easily destroy it. But if he waited any longer, he believed Dumbledore and the others would do it for him.

Since he had to create a pure and kind image for this orphanage, he had to maintain it at all times.

If his image changed, the credibility of his diary would undoubtedly diminish.

Besides, now was undoubtedly the time when Dumbledore and the others were watching him, so he couldn't let anything slip.

So Vici began writing the next diary entry while she waited for Dumbledore and Snape to appear.

Three days later,

The Headmistress called Vessey.

He was with other children,

All of them charming and beautiful.

"This is Mr. Antoya! Your goal today is to get someone to like you!"

Mr. Antoya was a refined man, but his gaze was anything but. He scanned Vessey and the other children with a particularly direct stare.

Finally, his eyes fell on Vessey.

"Who is this girl?"

He pointed at Vessey.

"I've never seen such a beautiful and adorable girl!"

" The principal's mother covered her mouth and laughed.

"Vissi doesn't have a last name yet. If Mr. Antoya likes it, you can adopt her and give her your last name!"

Mr. Antoya smiled and nodded modestly.

He then approached Vissi and tried to touch her face.

Vessey almost attacked him, but, trying to appear innocent and kind, he backed away, avoiding her touch. She looked at Mr. Antoya timidly and said,

"Sir, I'm sorry, I'm a little uncomfortable..."

Mr. Antoya shook his head.

His smile widened.

"It's okay. You're my daughter from now on. We can meet whenever we want, right?"

Vessey shook his head, feigning embarrassment.

"Can you give Lola this chance? She's still young and needs more adoption!"

"He smiled and gently ruffled the hair of the girl next to him, whose eyes were red with jealousy.

"He had looked at himself in the mirror earlier, and that smile made him look particularly saintly.

"Lola, come on, show Mr. Antoya. He'll adore you!"

"He smiled and nudged Lola.

"The girl had been standing on tiptoe, trying to get Antoya to notice her, and now, of course, Vessey gave her the chance.

"Antoya looked at her, seeing that she was pretty too, and waved her hand.

"Take it all!"

He lowered his head to Vessey and asked, "Darling, Dad has satisfied you. How will you repay him?"

How would he repay him?

Would confiscating the murder tools count?

Vessey suppressed his nausea and gave her a simple smile.

His smile was beautiful.

"Whatever you want."

Antoya ducked quickly.

Vessey's stomach lurched.

Were they all men who didn't understand each other?

Damn it, he really wanted to take his murder tools away from him!

And why hadn't Dumbledore and Snape arrived yet?

If they didn't arrive soon, he might lose control!

Fearing suicide, Vessey finally used some of his energy to locate Dumbledore and Snape.

If Antoine hadn't been so repulsive, Vessey wouldn't have bothered using his energy.

Huh?

Right here?

Was it a Disillusionment Charm or an Invisibility Cloak?

He was fine as long as he was there. He was sure Snape wouldn't tolerate Mr. So-and-so touching him.

He had seen the body before, the bright red hair and emerald green eyes, and he couldn't resist looking at them, let alone Snape with Lily's help.
