Chapter 6: Not Even Sparing An Old Man?

Severus, to Vessey, that man is a good person. She doesn't realize anything's wrong with him. Try it if you don't believe me.

So Dumbledore cast a Stunning Charm on her.

As expected.

Vessey wasn't at all happy; on the contrary, she was extremely worried.

Seeing the girl anxiously banging on the door, trying to wake the man,

Snape could only sigh inwardly. This girl was really just like Lily, so kind and intelligent.

In fact, he thought of kicking the man to help him wake up. He's so smart.

Just like Lily!

"Why didn't anyone tell her that hitting him with a heavy object, or even cutting him off, would be more effective?"

Snape saw Vessey's "kindness" and told himself he would definitely educate this girl in the future.

He couldn't allow her to be so kind and help others again! "This child, just as written on the page, is so innocent."

Snape wiped his eyes.

He was so moved.

Dumbledore, listening beside him, was speechless.

Is he mad?

Snape must be mad.

He didn't know if Vessey was innocent or kind, but if Severus continued to raise this child like this, she would probably stop being kind.

"Well, we should take little Vessey out,"

Dumbledore reminded him.

Snape nodded quickly.

He revealed himself immediately.

Antoya was startled by the two men who had suddenly appeared before him.

"You look like you need some more rest."

Snape raised his wand.

"Fainted!"

Vessey noticed that, although he was fainting, Snape sounded as if he were reciting the Avatar, which was frightening.

"Who are you?" What are you planning to do to Mr. Antoya? I'm going to call the police!

He feigned concern and stood in front of Antoya with a fearful expression on his face.

After all, anyone suddenly confronted by two people capable of instantly rendering someone unconscious would be terrified.

Snape glared at the man on the ground, wanting to kill him. He opened his mouth, ready to tell him what he was planning.

But Dumbledore got in first.

"Good boy, we are the headmaster and teachers of the school you rejected, called Hogwarts.

We are here to ask you why you declined our invitation."

Vissey's face immediately turned apologetic.

She lowered her head and said guiltily,

"I'm sorry, but the Headmistress said I should go to Smeltings School. I can't go to Hogwarts. If I don't obey, the Headmistress will be sad." Snape, seeing her guilty look, instantly lost his temper.

"Dumbledore, don't you understand what's going on? Why would you put a child in such a difficult situation?"

He was furious.

Didn't Dumbledore know the whole story?

Dumbledore's head ached.

This Snape...

Didn't he understand that he was trying to change the subject?

Was he going to tell the child that the man wanted to kill you... and that we were here to save you?

After all, he didn't want a child to know something like that.

It would be best if Vessey forgot.

"Child, I have a truth to tell you.

"You're a wizard," said

Vessey, feigning surprise, and instantly raised his head.

Wizard?

Dumbledore waved his wand.

Mr. Antoya disappeared.

Um..." He looked at Dumbledore nervously.

Dumbledore comforted him.

Mr. Antoya is seriously ill. We're taking him to the hospital. I hope he gets better!

Vessey immediately showed an expression of gratitude and admiration for Dumbledore.

Wow, so this is a wizard! You're really amazing!

Dumbledore blushed a little.

After all, he often lied to children.

Snape looked at him with contempt.

He had clearly used the Disillusionment Charm to hide Antoya, but he still lied to the children and said he had sent him to the hospital.

It's a shame this man is Headmaster!

Shame on him!

Dumbledore's mouth twitched as Snape stared.

He suppressed his embarrassment and said to Vessey, "It's all right. As long as you come to Hogwarts to study, you'll be amazing."

Vessey scratched his hair.

He looked tempted, but found it unlikely.

 So he said hesitantly:

"It's unlikely for me... What I mean is, I always feel like I'm not a wizard, just an ordinary kid..."

"What's more, you should also know that I'm an orphan. If I want to study, I need the financial support of kind people, so I don't have any money..." He lowered

his head in feigned inferiority.

Snape immediately took a large bag of gold Galleons from his pocket.

"These are for you, all for you!" Vissey

He stared at the large bag of gold Galleons. When Snape left, did he go to Gringotts to take all the property?

"Not to mention Vessey," even Dumbledore almost grimaced.

"Is this man mad?" Snape?

Did he go to Gringotts to take over the family estate?

Seeing Snape's nostalgic expression, he couldn't help but shake his head.

Agreed!

Severus was even willing to betray Voldemort for Lily.

This child resembles Lily, right down to her hair.

In fact, from Dumbledore's perspective, Vessey... She was much prettier than Lily.

But was he only thinking about Lily Snape?

He sighed sympathetically.

He patted Vessey on the head and was about to say that Lily and James had left money at Gringotts, enough to support Vessey and Harry.

But before he could finish his words, he saw the Snape's murderous expression.

His eyes were fixed on his hand resting on Vessey's head.

"Good boy, you..." Don't you even trust an old man? "Of course."

"Snape doesn't."

He reached over and took Dumbledore's hand away.

"Vissey doesn't like to be touched. Haven't you heard that before?"

"He then looked at Vessey with concern. "If any man dares to touch you, tell me and, well, I'll treat him!"

"Vessey almost laughed.

"This gift was similar to the one he had imagined in the mirror.

"Although he understood Snape's meaning, he pretended not to understand, tilting his head and looking at him.

How are you treating them? Are you going to give them something delicious?

Snape's heart melted at her adorable gaze.

Hearing him ask, he immediately showed a sinister smile.

Yes! Exactly! So if a man wants to touch you, just tell me.

Don't be afraid. I'm a professor at Hogwarts. I'm the only man who will protect you. Other men are no good!

   Dumbledore: "..."

Good friend! You're not even related to me, and you're saying this shamelessly?
