Chapter 9: Living At Hogwarts
It was unknown if it was Dumbledore's doing, but these people listed all the things the headmaster's mother had done at the orphanage.
Including, but not limited to, human trafficking, drug dealing, exchanging money for sex, and so on.
Even the children were horrified to hear it, let alone Vessey.
He clenched his fists.
"It's too much! I really want to... hit her!"
He thought for a long time and said angrily.
Snape was still angry at first, but seeing his expression, he calmed down.
"Don't worry about them. The police have arrested them, and those children will undoubtedly be rescued. If you're worried, you can come back and take a look later."
He planned to use magic when the time came.
For example, altering those people's memories so that they would be severely sentenced for this matter.
As a master of memory, he could do that.
At that moment, Dumbledore also returned.
He smiled and said, "They didn't see me. I quickly cast Obliviate on them. They won't remember Vessey."
Then he looked at Vesey and said, "I'm sorry, child. I did this without your permission, but I think if they knew of your existence, you could cause yourself a lot of trouble."
Vessey nodded, understanding.
Of course, he still showed only partial understanding.
Snape and Dumbledore didn't force him to understand.
"Come on!" I'll have someone look into this.
Dumbledore shot Snape a warning look.
He did not approve of murder.
Muggles have their own laws.
Snape said nothing, pretending not to notice.
He placed a hand on Vessey's shoulder and instantly vanished.
Dumbledore sighed.
The smile on his face gradually faded.
Was this boy's appearance a good thing or a bad thing?
He shook his head, waved his wand, and vanished.
Vessey expected Snape to take him to the Spinner, but oddly enough, Snape led him directly to the gates of Hogwarts Castle.
At first, he assumed it was just his personal behavior, but Dumbledore soon followed suit.
"My son, when you have nowhere else to go, you can stay at Hogwarts. You are always welcome here."
Vessey smiled gratefully.
But inside, he was grumbling.
He was probably trying to keep him under his control.
Although he was behaving like a victim right now, Dumbledore had seen enough of the actors to trust him easily.
He probably just believed that time would reveal a person's true character.
Besides, there was a diary system.
This would undoubtedly make Dumbledore wary.
Vessey understood perfectly; Besides, I thought living at Hogwarts would be wonderful!
Harry and Voldemort had only wanted to live on campus when they were students!
"Well, my boy, after a long day, you should rest. Severus will show you to a room, will he not?"
"Dumbledore looked at Snape.
"Snape nodded.
"Yes."
"Although he said he was showing Vessey a room, it was clearly already prepared. Snape escorted him to the Slytherin dormitory.
"Stay here. I'll take you shopping tomorrow." After a moment's thought, he shouted, "Colma, come out!"
"A big-eared one."
A wrinkled creature appeared before Vissey.
It was about the same height as him, bowing its head respectfully.
"Professor Snape, what can I do for you?"
Snape indicated Vessey at his side.
"This is Vessey Potter, Harry Potter's twin sister. If she calls for you, come out and listen!"
Then he pointed to Korma and said, "Korma is a house-elf. If you need anything, tell her!"
"Her?"
"So she was an elf?"
"Snape was so thoughtful!
"He nodded obediently, said goodbye to Snape and Korma, and went to bathe. He returned and fell asleep in bed.
Meanwhile,
In Dumbledore's office,
Snape glared at him.
"This matter cannot be told to anyone. Vessey knows nothing, she's just a child, and I don't want her to have to deal with this!"
Dumbledore looked at him, his head aching.
They had just been discussing how to reveal Vessey's identity.
However, as soon as he opened his mouth, Snape rejected the suggestion outright.
"Severus, you must understand that this matter cannot be hidden. The certificate of admission to Hogwarts already acknowledges your identity. Even if we don't tell anyone, it will spread quickly!"
Snape remained silent.
After a long pause, he asked quietly, "Is it really impossible to hide?"
Dumbledore shook his head.
"It can't be hidden. If that thing can tell us, it can tell others too. Who are you trying to hide from?
Voldemort? He might already know. That thing could have found him by now!
Have you forgotten what the Muggle police said today? They started investigating three days ago, right when we saw that thing!"
Snape frowned.
"Then tell Potter's friends!"
he said expressionlessly.
Then he stood up and walked out.
London Street.
Granger Dental Clinic.
Hermione was watching television, where a report was being broadcast.
Today, the police arrested a large criminal gang. The caller claimed they were involved in all sorts of heinous businesses. We've uncovered them all.
Thanks to the caller, we were able to rescue 123 orphans from the Angel Baby Orphanage. This is a case of…
She watched the news, and her initial anxiety gradually disappeared.
The girl named Vessey should have been rescued, right?
She hoped the evil diary wouldn't reappear.
But the scene that appeared after reading it that day seemed to reappear before her eyes.
She seemed to have matured. Was she committing suicide?
Because of that girl?
This was really strange, and he found it incredible, no matter how he thought about it.
