Chapter 1: On the clouds with God
The night is dark. The streets are quite quiet. The road is traffic. But there's a moon and the city lights, so it's not that dark.
A man is walking on the streets. He wasn't in a hurry or anything. Nor does he have any thoughts or regrets or what.
It was just another day. And there will be another tomorrow to wake up to. It is monotonous. But that is life... or that is his type of life.
Suddenly, a bright light is rushing to him. He turned is head and sees a truck, for some reason is heading towards his direction even though he wasn't in the road and is just on the sidewalk. The driver was shouting something.
"Ah...." was the only reaction that came out of his mouth.
He did not panic, it was too late for him. He didn't get the chance to plead for help. Just a simple acknowledgement that it's the end.
The impact was immediate. He felt pain for a moment. Then finally, there's nothingness.

He has died. But for some reason, he could open his eyes. This must be heaven, or maybe hell, or just the after life.
When he came to consciousness, he wasn't on the streets lying on blood. Instead, he was standing. Or maybe, he was floating, above the clouds.
Before him was a figure with a shape of a man, but was coated with pure gold. It was casually sitting on its throne. It looked bored out of its mind.
"Oh, good. You're awake." the figure said, waving lazily. "Name's not important. I'm the god. Yadda yadda, you died. You get hit by a truck accidentally, and yeah, very dramatic. You've been chosen for reincarnation into a fantasy world. Congratulations." he clapped.
The man blinked slowly. "Huh..."
"That's it? No screaming? No where am I? Just a huh?"
He shrugged. "Well, I am dead, aren't I? Can't do much about it."
The god stared at him for a moment before clapping his hands again.
"I like you. Very chill. Anyways, for consent purposes, here's my offer for you. You can either accept this new life or vanish into nothingness. Don't worry much about it and take your time. No pressure."
"I choose to live a new life." he replied instantly.
“Quick decision. I love that. It's a waste not to choose this once in a lifetime." the god smiles, looking pleased.
"Next, you get to choose your path.” The god raised two glowing spheres. On his left is a crimson, while the other one is blue.
“Strength, the red, or Magic, the blue one? The way of overwhelming muscle, or the way of mystical power? Choose wisely.”
Immediately, the man pointed at the blue sphere.
"Magic. It seems cooler."
The god snorted. "You didn’t even think about it."
"Why would I? Punching things sounds boring... well, I'm kind of surprised magic exists. And, I don't think being a fighter suits me."
"Well, it's your decision." the god then throws away the red sphere like trash. It breaks like glass and turns into nothingness.
"Okay so, you are now officially on the path of magic. You can't turn back now that I have destroyed the res sphere. Oh well, just kidding. I'll still give you a chance to change your decision. I ask you, are you sure?"
"I have no regrets."
"Heh. Well, any other request? I will hear you out one time. Consider it a bonus. Think about it thoroughly though. The more absurd it is, the more likely I won't grant it."
"Request?" the man paused, rubbing his chin. "Hmmm. You know what, can you turn me into a girl?"
The god raises an eyebrow. "Come again?"
"I've been a guy my whole life. Since this is my second run, might as well try something different this time." he then smirked and added. "Please make me beautiful too. I want to experience the full perks of being a girl."
The god smiles. "Ohoh. Interesting. Well, are you sure about this?"
"Yup." He nods.
"Alright then. This seems hilarious enough. Moreso your reason as to why you want to be a girl. I'll grant it without holding back."
The god, using a single finger, writes something on the air. Golden words were floating. It seemed like scribbles to the man, being unable to read them. The god wrote three sentences.
Then, as if shooing flies, he waves his hands to the words, and they vanish like smoke in thin air.
"And.... done." the god said as he claps his hands again.
"Your new body shall be... stunning, in mortals perspectives. You'll have admirers lining up for miles."
"Sounds fun." he thumbs up.
"... what if I'm being serious? You don't mind?"
"Yep." another thumbs up.
"Haha, ok. You're taking this awfully well." the god shakes his head.
"What was that magical golden thing you wrote in the air?"
"Oh, that? Well, I basically just wrote some rules for you to be able to go in, and your wish. It's not a language meant for mortals to read sp don't really bother knowing it word by word."
"Woah. got it."
"Now that you're all set up to step on this world. You step through that door." The god pointed at a white door that suddenly appeared behind the man. It wasn't there before. Still, he wasn't that shock since it's a god after all.
“On the other side is your new world.
A typical fantasy realm full of swords, sorcery, monsters, and probably way too many kingdoms and other races at war. Try not to die too quickly, yeah?”
"Wait, right now? I don't know how to use magic yet. Also, I'm still... the same."
"Just go in. You'll figure out anything easily. Trust me. Also, you'll automatically turn into a girl when you're there already." the god replied as he waves his hands up and down. "Now, shoo, shoo. You're not supposed to stay here that long. Unless, you want to cease to exist."
The man, who will soon be a woman, walks towards the door. Then, he glances to the god once out of respect.
"Thank you, I guess." he, later on she, said.
"Good luck, kid. And don’t blame me when the locals start fighting over who gets to marry you."
"Haha." the man chuckled softly with a thumbs up once again.
Finally, he entered. The door has closed.
