Recrusive Race VII

Ayako on the commentator studio, she shouted this on her microphone, “Speed Joker stole the win for her first race! What an unexpected outcome!”

Mugi smiled, and said, “Incredible race! Everyone was expecting Fuji Ramirez or Six Shooter who would take the win. This time the unexpected happened.”

Speed Joker stood on the turf and looked behind her. Fuji Ramirez and Six Shooter were out of breath after their last spurt.

Speed Joker looked at the spectator stand, and saw Shouji. He gave a thumbs up to Speed Joker and said this on the radio, “Good Job, I knew you could do it.”

Which Speed Joker replied, “Its because of your training session. I would probably lose if I did not train properly.”

Speed Joker waved her hands at the many spectators who cheered her at the stands. She also gave a big smile to them too.

Fuji looked at Speed Joker, who was waving at the spectators. She said, “Well, both of us loss. I knew this would come.”

Six Shooter who looked frustrated, she said, “Yeah, an unexpected horse girl beat us in our own game. She is a rookie too.”

Sometime later after the race. Speed Joker changed to her normal clothes. She already wiped off her sweat before changing into her new fresh clothes.

She heard a knock came from the door, which she responded, “You can come in.”

The horse girl who came in was Fuji Ramirez. She looked at Speed Joker with a smile. Then she said, “I’m just here to congratulate you on your first win. I did not expected for you to be this talented at running.”

Speed Joker smiled, and said, “I’m not really that talented at running. Mostly due to training regime changes, and adapting to the environment.”

Fuji smiled back to speed Joker, with her hands on her waist, and replied, “That is true. But, I would say otherwise.”

Once Speed Joker finished packing up her clothes into the bag. She exited the changing room. She looked back at Fuji Ramirez, which she smiled back to her. Then Speed Joker said, “I will be going first.”

Fuji looked at Speed Joker’s figure walked away into the distance. She then looked both palms of her hand and thought, {I might be getting old, huh.}

Speed Joker made her way back to the meeting room. There was everyone there celebrating for her first win in today’s race.

Ampere Pellet, who had excitement in her eyes. She said, “I cannot believe how fast your were going!”

Ampere then made flat hand, and made move it through the air. She said, “You were like this. So fast and quick. Its my first time seeing a horse girl going that fast at 1800 meters race!”

While in the corner of the room. There was Raiketan who held a drink in her right hand, which it was an orange juice. She took a sip of the orange juice, and then looked at Six Shooter. Six Shooter her horse ears were slightly drooped.

Raiketan then said, “Hey, cheer up. I know you feeling down because some rookie outside of the ACS beat you.”

Six Shooter turn her head, and looked at Raiketan. Then she said, “I’m not that sad. Its just that, I had feeling that Speed Joker is not just a normal horse girl.”

Raiketan chuckled at her respond. She then replied, “What make you say that? Sure, the world of racing can be weird and unexpected. But that make things a lot of fun. I need to learn a lot from it too, you know.”

Six Shooter looked at Speed Joker, who was smiling with her team members of her team. She then said, “I guess your right.”

Before she continued her talk. She though of something in her mind, {Wait… Did not she had a single race contract for today?}

Then she continued by saying, “She will leave today.”

Raiketan just smiled at Speed Joker, and said, “Yup. But who knows when she will come back to the series. Plus, you had a lot more training to do.”

Which Six Shooter smiled, and said, “I guess so.”

In an another room with the trainers went off drinking some alcohol. Some of them were already dead drunk on the sofa, which it was, Daichi Hirata and Choji Fujita.

Daichi felt his head was spinning, and said, “I don’t feel so good. Why is this alcohol so strong?”

Choji Fujita was already unconscious from the strong alcohol.

There was only Shouji Kisamata and Shohei Bado. They had a plastic cup held in their hands.

Shouji said, “Seriously? Why you bought a strong alcohol?”

Which Shohei replied, “I just want some once in a while. But I did not expected for those two already this drunk with just a few sips.”

Shouji looked at the two drunk man, who was already unconscious. He then said, “So, I will bring those two back to the hotel?”

Shohei nodded and said, “Yeah, I guess so.”

Sometime later. A woman bowed respectfully and said, “Thank you for coming by, and I hoped we see you again.”

Shouji was carrying Dacihi in his right shoulder, while Shohei was carrying Choji on his left shoulder.

Both of them walked in the street, with the sun already setting in the horizon. Shouji looked at the orange sky, and said, “Once I’m done with this,, I’m going back to the hotel and sleep.”

Shohei was beside Shouji. He then said, “How are you going back to the hotel? You have anyway to go back with?”

Shoji smiled and said, “I have myself a personnel driver. So I will not worry anything.”\

When they arrived at the hotel. Shohei and Shouji, who was still carrying Daichi and Choji. They went to the fifth floor of the hotel.

They walked in the hallway, and then stopped at door which had a sign said, “539”.

Shohei looked at Shouji, and said, “I will take care of things here. You should go back to our hotel.”

Shouji then replied with a smile, “I will be going then. And also, thank your for having a chat with me.”

Speed Joker looked at her phone. Which she noticed a notification pop up. Then Ampere Pellet who was beside her, she was very curious and take a look.

She said, “Oh wow, your trainer want you to pick up him? How bold!"

Speed Joker chopped her head, and seriously said, “Its just him with your trainers who were dead drunk after the party. Its not a date.”

Speed Joker stood up from the sofa and picked up her bag. She looked at the three horse girls, and said, “I will be going first. I will see you guys on the next time we meet. Good bye.”

She exited the room, leaving only three horse girls left in the room. Six Shooter already saw Speed Joker left. Then she thought, {I wonder what it is in her mind.}

While beside her, there was Raiketan. She said, “Oh, got jealous of the main protagonist leaving?”

Sis Shooter swiped Raiketan’s hand off her shoulder. Then she said, “I will be going too. Since its getting late. I will also help you guys cleaned up.”

Ampere Pellet smiled, and then said, “Let us do one more cheers before we clean things up!”

She raised her plastic in her right hand.

In the parking lot. Speed Joker put her bag in the back seat of her Jetsun AL500. Then she entered the car from the driver side front door.

She sat on the driver seat, and start the car. Speed Joker looked at the temperature gauges, and though, {Quite a cold start, I should let things warmed up first.}

Speed Joker waited for a while for the engine reaching above the blue line. Then she put the stick shift into reverse. She looked at the rear view mirror, and start driving backward.

Once she carefully navigate out of the parking lot. Speed Joker now entered the main road. From here, she went to hotel that Shouji Kisamata was sharing.

When Speed Joker arrived at the hotel’s lobby. She looked at Shouji, who was half drunk. Speed Joker said, “How is it?”

Shouji replied, “Never been better. I have high tolerance of alcohol you know.”

Speed Joker continued driving and focused on the road. Shouji looked at the analogue radio on the dashboard. He turned the station frequency.

Speed Joker saw the red light before the intersection, which she stopped the car. She said, “So, what type of song are you going to listen?”

Shouji turning the dial on the radio, and said, “I don’t know, whatever the song that is currently aired right now in Sapporo.”

With the sun already set below the horizon. The sky was turning dark, stars started shining through. The city of Sapporo, their buildings light up. Which both of them saw many businesses were still opened at this hour.

About few minutes later. They were nearly arrived at the hotel. Speed Joker turned her car into a right hand turn, which allowed the car went into the entrance of the underground parking lot.

In there, she looked around for an empty parking spot.

Speed Joker muttered, “Where is the empty spot?”

Shouji slowly opened his eyes. He saw through the glass wind shield, they were inside a parking lot. He yawned and said, “We arrived?”

Speed Joker replied, “Yeah, currently searching for a parking spot”

When she found one empty, she went the rear of the car first into the parking lot. Then she pressed the brakes and made the car completely stand still. She turned the key ignition into the off position, then pull the key out.

Both Shouji and Speed Joker exited the car. Speed Joker locked the car. Then both of them went to a nearby lift.

They went to the third floor, where their room was located. Upon reaching their room. They opened their door on the doorway.

Inside the room was two separated beds from each other. Shouji looked at Speed Joker and said, “You go take a bath first.”

Which Speed Joker did it anyway. The shower took around 15 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes. In total about 25 minutes.

For Shouji who took a shower, it was 7 minutes in total.

Speed Joker was on the bed. She had some thing in her mind, {Well, today was a brilliant race.}

She closed her eyes and continued, {I need to complete the planned blueprint car with Tanami. It should be ready for testing in the next 6 months.}

Shouji was on the other bed. He looked at Speed Joker, and said, “You should not think too much, or you might get old.”

Speed Joker threw a pillow on his face, and replied this irritatedly, “I do not want to hear that from you.”

Shouji threw back the pillow, and then Speed Joker put it back where it was on her bed. She then lay down, let the pillow touched behind her head.

She thought, {This is nice, so soft and nice.}

Speed Joker closed her eyes, as she felt the wave of tiredness crashed into her body.

Meanwhile for Shouji, he went to turn off the light. He saw the stars through the glass balcony doors.

He thought, {Today’s skies are clear. It is nice to see this.}

Shouji felt the pillow behind his head as he lay down in bed. He also felt very tired, and let his eye lids slowly closed.

The tiredness of his body crashed into him like a wave of the ocean.
