In a single story house made of wood. Inside the house, there was Tanami Hideyoshi sleeping in bed, snoring through his dreams.

Then an alarm clock from his phone woke him up. His right hand reached out to his phone, opened his eyes and saw it was 5:30 on the screen.

He thought, {Time for work. I can not be late.}

Tanami sat on his bed, before shook off his drowsiness from his sleep. Then he stood up from his bed, and went to the kitchen in another room of the house.

In the kitchen. Tanami prepared his favourite dark coffee. He brew it from the coffee machine, and pour it into the a glass cup.

He took a sip from the coffee and said, “Another day to get started.”

Then Tanami went to the front door of his house. He opened the door, and he saw a news paper on the ground.

He grabbed the news paper and went back into his house.

Tanami went back to the kitchen. He opened his fridge and grab some leftovers from last night.

He warmed up the leftovers in the microwave. It took about 3 minutes until his leftovers were warmed up.

Tanami placed his food on a table, alongside with his coffee. Then he grabbed a chair and sat on it.

He looked at his news paper. Which had some news about the Twinkle Series current era, and also the horse girl who was at the spot light.

Tanami thought, {That is something.}

Then he read and flipped the pages of his news paper until he came across about the Aurora Comet Series. Then he saw Speed Joker’s name in there.

Tanami spatted slightly of his coffee in his mouth, and slightly cough. He then said, “My god. Unbelievable. The girl at this point is at insane levels.”

He knew about Speed Joker already had a hectic schedule. But from him looking at this. Speed Joker was juggling with her schedule.

Tanami grabbed a bite of his breakfast. He chewed it slowly and then swallow it. Then he thought, {Just how much she would race? She need to take more brakes later. She is going to get mentally worn down at such young age.}

Then his phone made a notification ringtone. Tanami grabbed his phone, and read the message came from Speed Joker.

He read, “Tanami-kun, I have already sent the CAD file required to be built a new car. Make sure check in your email’s inbox.”

Tanami then opened the email app in his phone. Then there was the email of Speed Joker sent to him. A file attached to it.

He can only open the file once he is in the office.

Tanami then placed down his phone and continued his morning activities.

Once Tanami already took a bath, and wore his uniform. He went to the garage of his house. Inside the garage, there was his motorcycle.

It was powered by a 4-stroke 800cc engine. It was a powerful motorcycle he bought from 6 years ago.

Tanami opened his garage door, and pushed his motorcycle out. Then he went back to the garage to close the garage door.

At the drive way. Tanami hopped onto his motorcycle. He put the key into the ignition, and turned into the into the on position. He pressed the yellow starter button under the acceleration handle bar.

The engine softly turned on. Then he turned acceleration bar on the right handle bar of his motorcycle. He shift into first gear, letting his motorcycle go, and went into the main road.

The road where Tanami currently driving, it was not crowded. It was rather light in traffic. He can feel the breeze of cold air onto his face.

Once he arrived at the Jetsun HQ. He parked his motorcycle in the underground parking lot below the building.

From there, he went up from the stairs and reached his office. He looked at the clock, and saw the time was 7:00.

Inside his office, there was a desk, office chair, PC monitor, and book shelf filled with binders.

Tanami sat on the office chair, and turned on the PC. Then he logged into the local account, and went to the email app.

He downloaded the CAD file and opened it up with the CAD software installed in his PC.

Tanami looked at the design of the car, which it was dubbed the Prototype Car. The car was designed to be sleek and aerodynamic.

This made Tanami quite puzzled at Speed Joker’s direction for the next car. However, he did read the note in the email further.

Which it said, “A test car for a new engine. I wanted to at least create a fun sport car being sell in the dealership later.”

Tanami then switched the app back to the CAD. He began choosing the material later to create the car.

Few hours later. An employee of the Jetsun company knocked at Tanami’s office door. Tanami then said, “You can come in.”

The person behind the door opened it up. It was a young woman, which her name was Aoi Eureka. Aoi then said, “The shipment of the material in the order… Are you sure you want to buy it?”

Tanami then replied, “Yes. It is quite a rare occasion that we buy this types of materials.”

Aoi looked curious and said, “That occasion is?”

Tanami smiled and said, “We are making a new car. A slightly different one from our usual traditional way.”

Aoi went surprised, and replied, “I see…”

Around 1:00 at noon. Kenji Hiru already came home from school. He was on his way to the Jetsun HQ for his lessons from Tanami.

Kenji was currently at the front lobby door of the HQ. He went through it. At the front desk, he was given his employee ID card.

Next, he went to Tanami’s Office located in the highest floor, the third floor. There, he knocked at the door, and said, “Excuse me, can I come in?”

Tanami who was behind the door. He recognised the voice. He then said, “You can come in.”

Kenji entered his office, he also did not forget to close the door. He then looked at Tanami who was drawing a blue print.

Kenji looked at the blue print curiously and said, “What is this? A new project?”

Tanami used a ruler, drawing the prototype car in the blue print by hand. He said, “Yes. Our boss already drawn a new type of car that she wanted.”

Kenji went to Tanami’s desk. He looked at the scattered paper everywhere in the floor. He picked up one of them. He saw one of the question written on the paper.

That question was, “What type of power plant would be equipped with?”

Kenji looked at Tanami, and said, “We do not have any type of engine we could use?”

Tanami finished the blue print drawing. He also included the measurement of the car. He replied this to Kenji while scratching his head, “Nope. We have to wait what Speed Joker need.”

Tanami examined the engine bay of the prototype car, which was located at the rear. It was different from the other car he designed, which was mostly front engine.

Tanami said, “I just got a hint we will be building a new type of engine.”

Kenji went to the left side of Tanami. He looked at the blue print. He then said, “It is a lot bigger than most of the car usually designed.”

At 5:00 at the afternoon. Tanami and Kenji looked at the wood mock up of the prototype car.

It has a big rear wing, a diffuser on both rear and front bumpers. Below the car had an aluminium panel, which also had air duct straight to the engine bay.

The top of the car had a roof scoop, which was leading to the engine bay. At the engine bay enclosure, it had an opened fin like design, which Tanami can guess where its is going. Straight to the rear-wing.

There was also air ducts on the front fender, which was angled at 55 degrees downward. This was also implemented in the rear.

Kenji examined at the air ducts. Which it was a lot for a car. He said, “Won’t this ruined the aerodynamic of the car?”

Which Tanami nodded in agreement. He knew about it, but is seems, it can be change if needed. So, he then looked at the rear fender, which also has air ducts.

Since this was just the body of the car. Tanami had not selected any rims to fit in the car yet. The model was currently using a five spoke aluminium rim.

Then Kenji had an idea. He then said, “Why not we tested first so we can know what the boss wants to do with the body?”

Tanami thought about it carefully. It was a good idea, but they need to the research and development department. Which was on Gunma Prefecture in Agatsuma district.

He then said, “Alright, I will follow your idea.”

Using simulation for the wind was an okay idea. But, it would not be accurate as the actual thing.

Around 19:00 at night. Tanami shift off from work. He went to a nearby family restaurant.

Inside the restaurant. Tanami sat one of the seat. He saw one of the waitresses went to his table.

They said, “Welcome to our restaurant, Sir! Please look at our menu.”

the waitress put down the menu on top of the table. Tanami grabbed the menu and open it up.

There were various list of food in the menu. There were Rice bowls, bentos, and many types of curry.

In one of the page, which had a recommendation that was popular. A cheese chicken curry rice bowl.

Tanami called one of the waitress. Which one of them came.

He point at the popular recommendation of the menu, and said, “I want to have one of this please.”

The waitress opened her note pad, and written it down. Then she said, “Anything else?”

Tanami went to beverage side of the menu. Which then he said, “A Ice cold green tea, please.”

After that was all of his order. The waitress left his table to sent the note order to the chef.

Tanami grab his phone from his pocket. He saw notification from the message app, which it was from Speed Joker.

She said this in the message, “The car will be powered by an Inline 6 and a V6. Sorry that I did not gave out much details. The car would be used in a prototype race, enough to see what all of us can do.”

After he read that message. Tanami thought about prototype cars. They were very popular in Europe, same with horse racing they done.

He read about few things about prototype cars races, it would push their limits of creating the best car in the company.

But one thing that Tanami got a hint from creating this car. It seemed that they would enter that section of the motor sport soon, rather than later.

But one problem that had in his mind. Japan it self had not any Prototype races, which was required in endurance races like in Europe.

Tanami sighed and muttered, “So, the Japan Automobile Federation will set this in.”

Since JAF would soon notice about this. They would try what they failed from 70 years ago. It would be a National News when JAF confirmed it.

Then Tanami’s food was placed on the table by the waitress. She said, “Sir, here is your food.”

Tanami snapped out from his thoughts and looked at the waitress. Which he replied, “Thank you very much.”

He then began eating his food, and thought, {I should try do a bit of digging with some old friends. Since its been a while that I met them}
