Chapter 7: New day headed to the Academy!

Speed Joker stood up from her seat in the dining table, and started cooking breakfast. She would be cooking fried omelette with rice and miso soup on the side.

“This should do fine, classic breakfast for the day,” she mumbled under her breath.

Speed Joker prepared her cooking utensils on the counter top, along with ingredients she took from the fridge.

She put a non-stick pan on top of her induction cooker, then put oil on the pan. She let it warm up the oil for a few minutes.

For her miso soup, she grabbed a small pot put it on top of her induction cooker, then filled the desired amount of water, and put her instant miso soup packet. She stir them well and let the instant miso soup spread in the water well.

Speed Joker also cut some tofu that she get from the fridge, also put some dried seaweed beside the sliced tofu. She set those aside.

She then cracked and whisked an egg in a bowl. She added seasoning to her liking, and then placed the egg to a hot non-stick pan. She carefully fold the eggs once they are cooked at the bottom, and also tapped on the handle.

As the miso soup was boiling, she placed the tofu and seaweed to let it cooked with miso soup for a few minutes.

Once all of them were done, she put the cooked omelette on top of the cooked rice on the plate. Then she put the miso soup on a small bowl. Then she grabbed her eating utensils.

She placed the food on top of the dining table after she was done cooking, and sat on the chair.

Speed Joker clasped her hand together, and said, “Thank you for the food.”

And so, she began eating her breakfast for around ten minutes. After she ate breakfast, she cleaned all the dishes, and put all the cooking utensils into the cabinet.

Once all of those are done, Speed Joker looked at the clock mounted on the wall. It was pointed toward 5:00, an hour before before she can go to Tracen Academy.

In that one hour, she cleaned her bed room and her living room. Then she took a quick shower in the bathroom. After she cleaned herself, she wore the Tracen Academy uniform.

Speed Joker looked at the mirror in her bedroom, she fixed her horseshoe bow around her collar. Straighten her purple sailor uniform, and patted her purple skirt. She looked at her dark gray horse tail behind her as it swished.

“All looks good!” Speed Joker said with a soft smile.

She grabbed her blue bag on the office chair in her study desk, and cleaned it up; because yesterday she just slept quickly on bed. She grabbed the necessary books for today’s lesson in the academy, and put it into her bag. She had the schedule printed on a paper, it was taped to the wall.

When Speed Joker was done, she carried her bag on her right shoulder. Then she turned off the lights of her apartment room, and exited the room. She locked the doors with her key, then walked her way down to the lobby of her apartment.

As she exited the apartment, she saw the old lady beside her who walked at this hour of the morning.

“Oh, what a nice young lady. Are you heading toward to the Academy?” The old lady said, as she was carrying her groceries.

“Yes, I’m heading towards to the academy.” Speed Joker replied to the old lady.

The old lady chuckled, and she said, “Well then young lady, good luck on your studies.”

Speed Joker nodded to the old lady, and the lady waved at her as she went to the academy by walking.

Upon of her arrived at the Academy. She saw all the horse girls walked passed the gate, there was Tazuna who welcomed each Horse Girls as they entered the academy.

“Good Morning,” Tazuna said to Speed Joker.

“Good Morning to you too,” Speed Joker replied as she passed the gate.

They were many Horse Girls in the Academy, some even joined a team as they entered. A few team that are famous in the academy.

Team Spica, Team Rigil, and Team Canopus. These three teams were very well known throughout the academy.

Speed Joker saw two Horse girls in front of her. One had a very whitish purple hair, while other had the same, but a lot more whiter.

Both of them were McQueen and Gold Ship. They walked together to the academy everyday. As expected for both of them had a unique relationship with each other.

“Hey, Hey McQueen!” Gold Ship said with a carefree tone.

McQueen turned around and saw Gold Ship holding a small wrapped box in her right hand.

“What is it Gold Ship?” McQueen replied.

“Wanna open this?” Gold Ship said, as she shook the box in her hand.

As McQueen didn’t want to get into trouble in the early morning, she elegantly denied it.

“I’m afraid you will do this own your own,” McQueen said and turned her head away.

“Come on, just this once! Please!” Gold Ship plead as she hugged McQueen on the waist, also being dragged on pavement.

They both continued to bicker as they walked into the building.

Speed Joker walked in the hallway, there were many horse girl chatted with each other. She walked pass Special Week and Suzuka Silence who were chatting with each other.

Special Week felt goosebumps around her body, and Suzuka noticed it.

“Is there something wrong?” Suzuka asked with a gentle tone.

“Not really, I suddenly feel nervous all of the sudden.” Special Week replied.

Both continued to walk with each other for a while, until the bell rang.

As it rang, each Horse Girl entered their perspective classes.

Speed Joker reached her class, she stood outside near the sliding door.

“You can come in now,” The teacher in the class called her.

She opened the door and entered the class. She began to introduce herself.

“Hello everyone, my name is Speed Joker. Nice to meet you all,” Speed Joker introduced herself.

A Horse Girl stood up from her seat, this girl had white hair and yellow eyes with a star pupil. She ecstatically said, “Hello Speed Joker! My name is Fubuki Indomitable! Hope we can be friends with each other.”

Everyone in the class went silent and looked at her. Fubuki turned her head away in embarrassment, and mumbled, “Maybe that wasn’t a good timing as I thought.”

The teacher clapped her hands, and said, “Alright, enough. The class is about to start. Please everyone in your seat.”

Teacher looked at empty seat beside a Horse girl with dark blue hair and purple eyes. Teacher said, “Speed Joker, you can sit beside Blue Alpine.”

Speed Joker looked at Blue Alpine with her aquamarine eyes, then nodded. She walked to her table, and sat on the chair in the table.

She pulled out her required books from her bag, and placed them on the table.

The studies she would be doing in class would be, introduction the classes about race classes (G1 – G3, unranked races, and maiden races), and also the race course all of them would be racing in.

The studies continued until noon. Once that is arrived, everyone in the class, some of them left to practice in the field.

Speed Joker cleaned up her books on the table, and placed them neatly with each other in her bag.

“I didn’t know you study hard,” Blue Alpine said, gave side eye to Speed Joker.

“I studied hard to get into here, If I were not to. I wouldn’t be here in the first place,” Speed joker replied.

Speed Joker left her class room and entered the hallway. As she walked, she saw few more famous Horse Girls came from the opposite direction. They were Tokai Teio and Sirius Symboli. She walked pass them, and kept her presence nothing but small as an ant.

“Hmm? Is there anything wrong, Teio?” Sirius said with her dominant and assertive tone.

“Oh nothing! I just feel something passed us,” Teio said with a chuckle and a rub behind her head.

Sirius looked at her surroundings, she saw nothing but normal horse girls talked with each other. She must be imagining things if she felt odd ike this. For now, she would put this behind her back, and took care a more important task.

Speed Joker went to the training field. She looked at it, and saw many Horse Girls with their trainer; training around the race track, and done a few laps of it.

{Huh… That must felt great with them,} Speed Joker thought.

She noticed something as it crossed her vision. There was a Trainer, training with multiple Horse Girls. Oddly enough, she remembered, there were supposedly three big teams in Tracen Academy. She need to investigate it later for more many more teams in the Academy. Even the smallest one.

For now, she continued on her walk on the pavement. While continued to watch each Horse Girls training. By far, Team Rigil was the most impressive out of all the team. Speed Joker remembered that Team Rigil’s trainer goes by the name of Hana Toujou. She trained all of the biggest stars in the Academy.

{Not surprised all the stars are there,} Speed Joker thought.

She saw Almond Eye who was training, she was very quick around the track, made it quite scary on her acceleration. If she remembered about her Research in this academy, Almond Eye is the strongest currently in the Academy. She was able to broke records of Symboli Rudolf on some of the races she entered. Second to Narita Brian.

{Now, that is the most scariest and most beautiful Horse Girl at the same time,} Speed Joker thought.

Meanwhile, at Team Rigil. Everyone there do their training, constructed by their Trainer Hana Toujou.

“El Condor Pasa, do fifty more sit ups, you need more power when going up hills. You need as much strength as possible,” Hana said, as she hold a digital tablet on her left arm.

“Yes!” El Condor Pasa replied.

Symboli Rudolf was doing some stretching on her legs and arms. Then she felt something was watching her. She looked at the grass incline near the race track beside the pavement sidewalk, she saw nothing.

{Am I hallucinating?} Rudolf thought.

Narita Brian noticed a discomfort from Rudolf.

“Is there a problem?” Brian asked.

Rudolf looked behind her, she shook her head.

“Nothing, I just get a feeling were being watched by someone,” she replied.

The academy itself is only allowed for staff and students. But if it were a stalker, they should be captured by the Academy security team quickly.

As the times goes on, back to Speed Joker. She was in the Library, there were expanse of books in the bookshelf. There are many History books related of Horse Girls to fiction novels of many kind.

Speed Joker grabbed on of the fiction Novel, the title said ‘One inch of Love’. As she read that title, it was honestly disturbed her.

She opened the book and read the content, it was mostly about a romance novel about a Trainer falls in love with their Trainee. To be honest for Speed Joker, if she continued reading this book, she might get type 2 diabetes at best.

She placed the book back to the bookshelf.

Speed Joker saw some horse girl that sat on the table, reading books about on how to get stronger. But she saw a glimpse of Horse Girl that had a green hair with platinum silver eyes.

She looked at the girl and asked, “Can I sit beside you?”

The green hair Horse Girl looked at Speed Joker, and she replied, “You can, come sit beside me.”

Speed Joker sat beside her.

“What is your name?” Speed Joker asked, as she placed her books on the table.

“Ghost of Ash,” Ash replied to Speed Joker.

Speed Joker opened her book, do some of her research about horse girl anatomy, and also her homework was given by her teacher. Most of the homework was History about horse girl, which she easily written down the answers.

Ghost of Ash looked at Speed Joker, impressed on doing her homework.

“You’re very knowledgeable. Most girls here can’t write answers without using the history book,” she said.

“If you study hard enough, there might be the point you don’t need one. Which I did by accident,” Speed Joker replied to Ghost of Ash.

After she finished her history homework. She also finished her anatomy research quickly, which she done it in a breeze.

Ghost of Ash expressed in awe to Speed Joker, she had thoughts about Speed Joker compared to a walking computer in her mind.

About an hour later, Speed Joker done all of her required activity in the library, she put all of her books into the bag, and zipped the zipper of the bag closed.

Speed Joker stood up, and said, “Ash, I’ll see you later.”

Ghost of Ash nodded as she saw Speed Joker left the Library.
