Chapter 9: Entangled with Octopus Tentacles
Liang Lin, like a nimble eel, slipped into Liang Di's bed with a "whoosh."
Liang Di looked at her helplessly.
"Are you not going to help me up?" Liang Di looked down at her legs.
Oh, right, I almost forgot there's a disabled person here.
Liang Lin got out of bed, put one arm around Liang Di's neck, and lifted her leg with the other, casually asking, "What happened to your leg? For it to be like this now."
The next second, she was surprised to find that Liang Di's leg, hidden by her long nightgown, was so soft to the touch, as if it had no bones, as soft as a lump of flesh.
"Strange, your leg is so soft."
A hint of wariness flashed in Liang Di's eyes.
"Well, after all, my leg is disabled, so naturally it's different from yours."
Liang Lin nodded, believing her explanation.
"So, what happened to you?"
Liang Di thought for a moment and replied, "My leg has been like this since I can remember. I don't know what happened before."
Tsk tsk tsk, how tragic.
Liang Lin wasn't a very compassionate person; she only felt sorry for the other person who couldn't experience the joys of being a normal person.
Liang Lin placed Liang Di on the bed, covered her with the blanket, and then crawled in herself. She had never slept in the same bed with anyone before; this was her first time, and she felt quite awkward. Liang Lin didn't know where to put her hands, groping around for a while before deciding she couldn't just lie there all night; she had to show weakness.
Just then, a clap of thunder, accompanied by lightning, illuminated almost the entire night sky outside. Liang Lin even felt the bed shake.
Now!
Our awkward, villainess young lady gritted her teeth, closed her eyes, and pressed herself against Liang Di, wrapping her arms around Liang Di and holding her tightly, completely ignoring the position their were in now
"Waaah... I'm scared..."
Oh my god, was that sickeningly sweet voice really coming from her throat? Even Liang Lin herself got goosebumps listening to it.
Liang Di gasped, feeling the softness against her chest. A glint of green light flashed in her eyes, but she quickly suppressed it, trying to soothe the other girl patiently: "It's okay, don't be afraid, I'm here, um, I'm here... by your side?"
She wasn't very good at comforting little girls.
Then, another flash of lightning, followed by a thunderclap like firecrackers, exploded in the ears of both girls.
This time, Liang Lin overreacted. She draped her leg over Liang Di's, whimpering and rubbing her breasts back and forth.
"No, you..."
Liang Di's face flushed slightly, her green pupils gleaming faintly in the dark night.
"Go to sleep, I..." Liang Di gasped.
But Liang Lin was still immersed in her own world as a delicate and pitiful little girl, unable to pull herself out, whining to Liang Di while simultaneously feeling utterly disgusting, completely oblivious to what the other was saying.
Damn it.
Liang Di rolled over, wrapped her arms around Liang Lin's head, and pulled her close, her voice hoarse and deep.
"Sweetie, sleep well, don't move."
Huh?
From this position, so close to that soft spot, Liang Lin could even hear Liang Di's heartbeat. Though she has the reputation of a wicked girl or villainess she was also innocent; Liang Lin felt her face suddenly burning.
Smelling the other's pleasant scent, Liang Lin suddenly felt a wave of drowsiness.
How strange, so strange… Why are my eyelids getting heavier? Why is my vision getting blurrier? Why is my consciousness fading… I wasn't sleepy at all just now, why now…
So sleepy.
I should have achieved my goal for today, right?
Then…
Then…
It's okay to sleep a little longer, right
Hmm…
Liang Lin let out even, soft snores.
Liang Di still held Liang Lin tightly.
After a while…
"Then, consider it payment for letting me keep you company."
Liang Lin, nestled in Liang Di's arms, jolted violently.
In her half-awake state, Liang Lin felt something warm on her crotch, as if some soft-bodied creature was wriggling against her most precious place, tightly pressed against her through the thin fabric.
"Mmm~"
She made a strange, coquettish sound in her sleep, trying to push Liang Di away. Liang Di, however, held her tightly, not letting her go.
Tentacles slowly emerged from under Liang Di's nightgown, wrapping around Liang Lin's body, moving freely, like fish released into the sea.
Something was wrong, a very strange feeling. Strange, was she dreaming? This feeling was novel and exciting; Liang Lin hummed softly, so alluring in the quiet night.
Liang Di swallowed, tightening her grip on Liang Lin's arm.
"Nghhh~"
Liang Lin's voice grew increasingly rapid, and Liang Di's excitement intensified.
Since things have come to this point, why not… get even closer? You don't need this fabric anymore, right?
Just as Liang Di was about to take the next step, reason suddenly returned to her mind.
No.
No.
No!
Not yet…!
Liang Di jolted awake, the green light in her eyes dimming slightly. She stopped the movement of her tentacles, simply clinging quietly to Liang Lin's body, no longer moving.
Yes.
Not yet.
If she couldn't suppress her desire now, she'd be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life, never to see her own smooth, white thighs again. Wait a little longer, no rush… it won't be long anyway.
Liang Di tried to regulate her breathing, taking a deep breath and exhaling heavily. Finally, all the tentacles retracted into her nightgown.
"Sleep well, Liang Lin," Liang Di whispered in Liang Lin's ear.
The strange feeling in her body disappeared, but a slight sense of loss lingered.
Liang Lin frowned, huffed twice in dissatisfaction, and snuggled closer to Liang Di.
"Pfft~"
It seems that returning to this home is quite a pleasant thing after all.
Liang Di gently stroked Liang Lin's back and slowly closed her eyes.
When Liang Lin woke up the next day, she found the bed beside her was cold; Liang Di was no longer in bed.
She stretched lazily, turned her head, and found a note on Liang Di's pillow. Picking it up, she read a line of delicate handwriting:
"I went to Nolan's house. I'll probably be back tonight. Take good care of yourself. By the way, be careful of Duke Auston. I think you're quite clever in this regard."
Liang Lin sneered.
The soft, cute look from yesterday was gone, replaced by a sinister and cold expression. She crumpled the note into a ball, went back to her room, and threw it in the trash can.
"Don't worry about things that don't concern you, Liang Di. You should worry more about yourself."
