V2: Chapter 73: She'd Definitely Have The Wicked Young Lady Completely Bewitched
For a moment, Liang Lin wanted to spit out the chocolate in her mouth.
Wouldn't this woman give me some strange drug? How could she even bake cakes? Did she learn to do it just to drug me? Damn it, this woman is so vicious!
A jumble of thoughts raced through Liang Lin's mind, but her mouth kept chewing.
Anyway, she'd already swallowed so much; spitting it out now was too late, and inducing vomiting wasn't appropriate either, with Octaville still nearby.
Yes, Octaville was still there!
Liang Di definitely wouldn't dare do anything too outrageous.
Watching Liang Lin eat so heartily, the little dog's tail behind Liang Di was practically wagging like a propeller.
Recently, some things had been troubling Liang Di. Natalie remained as enthusiastic as ever towards Liang Lin, but Liang Lin didn't particularly like her. However, due to Natalie's noble status, she couldn't openly break off relations. She couldn't refuse Natalie's visit either, fearing Natalie would complain to her parents, who were members of the royal family.
The two empires were, after all, friendly.
While they wouldn't take any drastic action over a minor squabble between young girls, it wouldn't be good to let things sour. Besides, Liang Di's businesses often involved some nobles in that empire.
Having eaten and drunk her fill, Liang Lin didn't want to linger. She still felt a strange distance from Liang Di, so she clapped her hands, wiped her mouth with a handkerchief, and stood up.
“I’m going to see Carol.”
After taking two steps, she turned back, pretending to be nonchalant, and casually said to Liang Di, “Oh, by the way, Carol learned to walk a few days ago. If you want to see her, you can go take a look. Oh, not now, I have to go now.”
The implication was that she didn’t want to be in the same room as Liang Di.
When Liang Di heard that Carol could walk, her big eyes sparkled, but then, upon hearing what the other person said next, they instantly deflated.
After Liang Lin had walked away, Octaville pointed at Liang Di and unabashedly mocked, “Liang Lin has been back for so many months, and you two haven’t made any progress. Are you even capable?”
Liang Di’s face turned bright red, both ashamed and angry. But what the other person said was true, and she couldn’t refute it. She could only pout and refuse to look at Octaville.
"Sigh~"
Octaville, having finished laughing, casually hooked her arm around her adopted daughter's shoulder, raised her other hand, gave a thumbs-up, and pointed the fingertip at her nose.
"If you have any questions, or anything you don't understand about pursuing girls, you can ask me! See how I completely captivated Hilary? Hey, learning from me is definitely the right thing to do. Just ask me, and I guarantee I can help you win over Liang Lin."
"Uh."
Liang Di gave Octaville the same deadpan look.
"Don't lie to me. I know the general situation. I remember, it was Hilary who pursued you, right? You were quite straight back then, and you didn't say you liked girls. She must have turned you gay, right?"
"Uh..."
Octaville, the former straight girl, awkwardly scratched her nose and released her arm from the other's shoulder.
"Yeah, it's normal for her to pursue me, after all, I'm so handsome." After the initial awkwardness, Octaville launched into another wave of self-admiration.
"Hmm... you mentioning that reminds me."
Liang Di looked at Octaville, a strange light flashing in her eyes.
"How did Hilary pursue you back then? Tell me, you were a little girl too, well, you could say you were a little girl, right?"
But when she said the last few words, Liang Di looked at the tall, imposing Octaville in front of her, her confidence clearly waning.
"You want to say I look like a man!" Octaville retorted, puffing out her chest, which wasn't very large, but was noticeable. "Can't you see that feature?"
"Uh, I can see it."
Liang Di hesitated for two seconds before finally asking, "So, how did Hilary manage to win you over? I mean, what methods did she use?"
After all, she was pursuing Hilary's sister. Liang Di couldn't very well ask the older sister how to pursue her younger sister, could she?The hatred of having her sister stolen was irreconcilable! Besides, she had done such a beastly thing, getting Liang Lin pregnant and giving birth to a little monster. It was already quite good that Hilary didn't have any overtly negative feelings towards her; why would she expect the older sister to help her pursue her younger sister?
She definitely couldn't ask Hilary, so she'd ask Octaville instead. Anyway, this guy was also very interested in this kind of thing, gossiping like crazy every day, not at all like a tower master.
“Ah… speaking of this…” Octaville looked up at the azure sky, a sense of being lost in the past, unable to pull herself away, beginning to reminisce about her youth, her past, and the moments of passionate love.
“I remember, the day I met Hilary, the sky was bluer than it is now, the breeze was fresher than it is today, and then I saw a beautiful…”
Liang Di raised her hand.
“Stop, stop, stop!"
“Don’t suddenly start reminiscing about the past and getting sentimental. I don’t want to hear about how you met; I want to hear what methods Hilary used to win you over and make you fall for her.”
“Oh, you mean that?”
Octaville’s words were straightforward and blunt. She shrugged, “It’s a very simple thing, human nature, of course it’s seduction~”
“…”
Liang Di was slightly speechless.
"Can you... be serious for once? Don't joke around at a time like this. I'm asking you seriously."
Octaville clicked her tongue, abandoning her nonchalant attitude and sitting up straight. "I'm serious, it's seduction. Well, I'm inherently lewd. When I see someone pretty, I can't resist. And then they're wearing such sexy clothes, lying on my bed, beckoning me with their finger—who could resist that? I've already admitted it, and yet you don't believe me."
After hearing this, Liang Di began to doubt her existence. She scratched the back of her head, frowned, and still looked at the woman in front of her with skepticism. "No, you... you're not serious, are you?"
"It's true, it's really true." Octaville nodded sincerely.
"Just...that simple? A little seduction and you're smitten?" Liang Di questioned her sanity again. "Such a simple reason? Didn't you leave out any details?"
"No, I'm a very honest person, very frank. I was just seduced." Octaville gave a lewd smile and began to describe, "Back then..."
In the soft candlelight, Hilary lay quietly on the bed, her beauty alluring, making it impossible to look away.
Her golden hair was as radiant as the sunlight, shimmering with a captivating luster, gently scattered on the pillow like a golden ocean. Her face was exquisitely beautiful, her skin fair and delicate, like the finest porcelain, exuding a cool and noble aura.
"Here comes the key point." Octaville's smile widened.
Hilary wore a thin nightgown, the hem swaying gently with her breath, revealing glimpses of her graceful figure. The pale color of her nightgown contrasted sharply with her blonde hair, making her snow-white skin appear even more alluring.
Her eyes were slightly closed, her long eyelashes casting soft shadows in the candlelight. A faint smile played on her lips, as if she were having a beautiful dream. Her breasts, beautifully curved, rose and fell gently with her breath, exuding an indescribable sensuality.
The entire room was immersed in her beauty, a faint fragrance filling the air (actually, it was incense, a little trick played by Hilary), intoxicating and mesmerizing. Her presence was like a beautiful poem, irresistibly alluring, making one want to remain immersed in this beautiful dream forever.
Octaville rubbed her hands together as she said this.
Liang Di was speechless for a moment, her ears turning slightly red.
If that scene were Liang Lin, I probably wouldn't be able to resist either. It was indeed quite erotic; most people wouldn't be able to control themselves, right?
"Uh, and then you two got together? Didn't she say anything incredibly romantic to you?" Liang Di asked.
It couldn't be that far-fetched, could it?
"She did! Of course she did!" Octaville puffed out her chest. "I bet it's the most romantic compliment I've ever heard in my life! And the biggest praise I've ever received!"
Seeing her so confident, for some reason, Liang Di suddenly had a bad feeling. She had a feeling that what this person was about to say wouldn't be anything good; it would definitely be something vulgar and shameless.
But Hilary looked so serious. If it came from that woman, it couldn't be too perverted or vulgar.
So, Liang Di still asked.
"Then can you tell me what she said to you?"
As she asked this, she was still full of anticipation. Liang Di had already silently pulled out her little notebook, ready to jot down what the other person was about to say. She was thinking that if she had the chance, she would tell Liang Lin; perhaps Liang Lin would be moved, or even fall for her.
"Hmph~"
Octaville, brimming with confidence, hooked her arm around Liang Di's shoulder again, and whispered mysteriously in her ear, "I'll only teach you this once. Don't ask me again. If I tell you, and you tell someone else, that person will definitely be head over heels for you!"
"..."
Liang Di couldn't believe it no matter how she thought about it.
"Then tell me."
