V2: Chapter 78: Shall We Sleep Together Again?

No...

Eh, "No"?!

Liang Di, who had already gotten out of bed and was about to leave, stopped. She turned back, looking at Liang Lin with a confused expression.

She didn't understand what Liang Lin meant by "no."

"Um..."

Liang Lin clearly panicked, her eyes darting around, and she didn't dare meet the tentacle girl's gaze. So, she looked at the table beside her, muttering to herself for a long time, but Liang Di couldn't understand a word she said.

"Sister Liang Lin, you mean...?"

Liang Lin regretted her words immediately and covered her mouth. "It's nothing, I didn't say anything. You should go back to your room."

"Oh..."

The usually clever and quick-witted Liang Di now seemed dazed. She walked blankly towards the door, her gait like a waddling little penguin.

So cute.

Liang Lin liked it.

However, because Liang Di didn't understand the meaning behind her words, she was a little annoyed.

Tsundere people are always easily angered when faced with slow-witted individuals.

"Tch..."

Liang Lin crossed her arms, snorted coldly, raised her noble head, and muttered under her breath, "If you don't understand, you don't understand. You're really stupid. What a load of rubbish about being smart; you're just a moron."

All of her mutterings reached Liang Di's ears.

Finally, just as Liang Di reached the door and her hand was on the doorknob, she suddenly realized what Liang Lin meant.

"Oh, Liang Lin! Sister Liang Lin!"

Liang Di was a little excited and went straight to the point.

"Sister Liang Lin! You mean you like me like this, and you want me to always be like this! And, and if I don't do this, you'll be sad, right? You'll be unhappy, that's why you said no!"

Huh—?!

Suddenly caught off guard, Liang Lin froze on the spot. Then, a blush crept onto her cheeks. She felt so ashamed she wanted to squat down, burying her face in her arms to hide her humiliation and indignation. The other person had only been direct; they hadn't teased her or said anything lewd. So why was she so ashamed and indignant?

She couldn't understand it, she really couldn't understand it.

"What nonsense are you talking about?!"

People often shout when they feel guilty, and Liang Lin was no exception. To divert Liang Di's attention and prevent her from noticing her face, which was burning red, Liang Lin started shouting at her.

"I'm telling you, you can't just say things like that! When did I ever say I liked you like this? You really, really, really, really, really…!"

Liang Lin stammered for a long time, unable to get a single word out. Mainly, she didn't dare to be too harsh; she was afraid Liang Di would take it seriously and never pretend to be that pitiful woman again.

A woman's tears are an aphrodisiac for another woman. Looking at Liang Di's eyes glistening with tears, Liang Lin felt a surge of tenderness, even a touch of excitement. Essentially, she still wanted to be in control.

Although, being constantly suppressed, without having to do anything herself, was indeed quite comfortable.

Wait!

How could I have such thoughts? I was a man! A man for fuck sake!?!

Liang Lin shook her head violently.

If Liang Di only heard Liang Lin's words and felt the tone of the other woman, she might actually believe it and leave heartbroken.

However, Liang Lin was standing right opposite her, her face turned directly in her direction. She could see Liang Lin's expression clearly, without a doubt.

The tentacle girl's eyesight and hearing were no joke.

"Mmm, mmm, I know, sister, you don't need to explain."

Liang Di shook her head frantically, her lips pouting like a kitten's, her smile harder to suppress than an AK. If she didn't know that if she laughed, Liang Lin would be even more angry, she would have already burst into laughter.

Liang Lin was even cuter like this; I really liked her more and more.

"Okay~"

Sure enough, my sister is a tsundere kitten.

As a feline overlord, when fighting with its owner, it would never back down, always striking its owner with its soft paws.

However, there was one thing: they wouldn't expose their claws to hurt their owner, unless… the owner did something really outrageous, something that enraged them.

Liang Di understood this perfectly, so she wasn't angry or saddened by Liang Lin's various shouts, yells, and insults.

She knew that anything Liang Lin said—shoulders crossed, hands on hips, or a blushing face—was insincere. She didn't need to listen, or rather, she could interpret it the opposite way.

"Okay, okay, Sister~"

Liang Di gave a sweet smile.

Looking at the other's shameless attitude, Liang Lin suddenly deflated. It really felt like nothing she said could anger the other, and suddenly she lost all motivation.

"...Never mind."

Liang Lin snorted.

Liang Di said, "I took Carol to Gladys and Laura's room. Are you sure you want me to bring her back? Will she cause you trouble after I bring her back?"

"Uh..."

Upon hearing this, Liang Lin clearly froze again.

Liang Lin's eyes darted around again.

"Well, forget it then. Don't bring her back. It's been too much trouble for her going back and forth. She's probably asleep by now, right?"

At that moment, Gladys let out a sharp, piercing scream from inside the room.

"Laura!!"

"Help me!!!"

Laura was also jumping around in the room, her face filled with terror.

"Can you hold her a little further away from me? Don't let her pull my hair!!"

While the two of them were causing chaos in the room, Liang Lin and Liang Di were looking at each other.

Liang Di didn't want to leave. She hadn't achieved her goal for today; how could she bear to leave?

"Why aren't you leaving? What are you standing there for?" Liang Lin urged her again.

In her haste, Liang Di accidentally blurted out her innermost thoughts.

“Sister Liang Lin, look, Carol's not here anyway, so no one's going to sleep with you tonight. How about we do what we used to do, I'll sleep with you? It's raining today, maybe it'll thunder. Aren't you afraid of thunder? You said that before.”

What the hell? How could I be afraid of thunder?

Liang Lin suddenly remembered that time she pretended to be pitiful. The atmosphere became awkward. Just thinking about her awkward, pitiful act made her feel nauseous.

Seriously, why did I, a grown man, have to act so disgusting back then?!

“No! Absolutely not! Get out of here right now!”
