Chapter 2: Education with Tentacles

Liang Di slowly turned her head back.

Whether it was an illusion or a trick of the light, Liang Lin noticed Liang Di's sapphire-blue eyes gradually turning green, emitting an eerie, phosphorescent glow.

Liang Di's lips twitched slightly, her smile widening into something sinister, as if a demon were whispering.

A vortex seemed to swirl in her eyes.

Liang Lin froze in place, feeling as though something like a skinned, soft-bodied creature was writhing at her feet.

But when she abruptly looked down, the strange sensation vanished.

When she lifted her gaze again, she found Liang Di staring back at her with wide, dewy eyes, looking docile and obedient.

"No, I believe in Sister Liang Lin."

What had just happened?

Could it be an illusion from lack of sleep lately?

"Indeed not, you guessed that right."

Liang Lin gripped the wheelchair handles again, turning it toward her own room.

"I am a villainess, not a foolish noble lady."

Liang Di paused for a second.

"Oh? Then am I the foolish noble lady, Sister?"

Liang Lin merely chuckled without answering, as if silently confirming it.

Creak

Liang Lin's room was decorated in dark red tones.

In the corner stood a massive bookshelf and a desk, while the walls were covered in crimson wallpaper adorned with intricate golden patterns. At the head of the bed, a golden statue of a young girl exuded a bewitching charm, and the wine-red gauze curtains swayed gently in the breeze.

At first glance, only one word came to mind: opulence.

Liang Di narrowed her eyes.

The golden statue looked strangely familiar. She glanced back at Liang Lin and suddenly understood.

"This statue is of you, Sister."

Liang Lin showed no embarrassment and nodded.

"I think I'm beautiful, so I had it carved."

The Marquis was quite satisfied with her current body–whether it was her delicate features or her curvaceous figure. The only slight drawback was her somewhat smaller bust, but everything else was just fine.

"You are indeed beautiful,"

Liang Di praised without reservation.

"Alright, it's time we discuss serious matters, Miss Liang Di."

Liang Lin stepped in front of her, her gaze intense.

"Why have you suddenly returned to Langwendi? Where have you been all this time? And... why does Auston look like he just found out his daughter Liang Lin isn't his own flesh and blood?"

"You want to know that?"

"Since you allowed me to stay and continue as a daughter of the Langwendi family, I have the right to know."

Liang Lin crossed her arms, maintaining her haughty and arrogant demeanor, not bothering to hide her disdainful expression.

"Why do you think I would tell you?"

Liang Di frowned, her obedient face now wearing a scornful smile. She beckoned to Liang Lin as if summoning a dog.

"You, a puppet lady, have no right to know such things. I let you stay because I acknowledge your abilities, proving you still have some use. With just one word from me, you can be thrown out immediately. Understand?"

Liang Di said bluntly.

No one had ever disrespected Liang Lin like this before.

Liang Lin bent down, her eyes wide, her nose almost touching Liang Di's.

"You, a cripple, what right do you have to insult me?"

Liang Di's smile froze.

"Cripple?"

"Aren't you a cripple? Ha–"

"You'd better repeat what you just said—Said it as if you won't regret it."

Liang Di's gentle demeanor vanished entirely.

"I hate being threatened most of all, especially by trash like you."

Liang Lin's hand rested on Liang Di's neck, her fingers gradually tightening. "Don't forget, this is my room. It's just the two of us. If you're going to act arrogantly, at least pick the right moment, you fool."

“Cough..."

Drool trickled from the corner of Liang Di's mouth.

Tsk, better not actually strangle her to death.

To be honest, Liang Lin simply couldn't stand the other's arrogance, which had surpassed even her own. She just wanted to teach her a lesson. As she prepared to release her grip, Liang Lin saw Liang Di smiling at her.

Wait, why...?!

Something slimy coiled around her neck, and a tremendous force lifted her off the ground. Liang Lin reacted swiftly, reaching for the sword at her waist, but her wrist was also ensnared by the same slimy substance, rendering her immobile.

Clang!

The sword clattered onto the uncarpeted floor.

Liang Lin gasped for air, her breathing heavy. The slimy thing felt like a vine, tightly wrapped around her neck and slowly tightening.

Turning her head, she saw it, a creature with smooth, reddish-brown skin, some parts adorned with suckers, resembling octopus tentacles. They sprawled across the room, twisting and writhing.

“Cough...!"

Drool dripped from the corner of her mouth down to her chin, Liang Lin's face flushed crimson as she struggled in mid-air. She could feel the octopus tentacles slowly creeping across her skin, some with suckers seemingly latching onto her body.

Liang Di rubbed her own neck, a smug smile on her face as she watched Liang Lin suspended in the air.

"An arrogant, ignorant villainess? A fool who can't read the situation? Doesn't that sounds just like you, dear Sister?"

The tentacles dragged Liang Lin forward, pushing her toward Liang Di.

Liang Di raised her hand, gently tracing her fingertip along Liang Lin's lips, then sliding it down until it reached her chest, where she unbuttoned two clasps.

"What a pity," Liang Di sighed, nodding as she admired the sight before her. “Your future children would surely go hungry."

Liang Di's pupils had turned completely green. She licked the corner of her lips and swallowed. Liang Lin could clearly feel the tentacles tightening around her body, squeezing her until she was nearly suffocating. The tentacles wrapped around her arms and thighs dug deep into her flesh, her fair skin turning red and swollen as if about to burst.

Wait, why did it feel like one of the tentacles was sliding up her back and...?

Liang Lin shuddered, the strange sensation in her lower half jolting her muddled mind awake.

Thankfully, it only lingered on the surface without any further movement.

“You should be grateful I can restrain my desires,"

Liang Di took a deep breath and patted Liang Lin's cheek.

“I'll let it slide this time, Sister."

Through the full-length mirror in the room, Liang Lin saw a small, corn-silk-like tentacle slip into her ear. It felt ticklish, followed by an indescribable, peculiar pleasure.

This feeling...

“Ahh.."

Liang Lin's mouth fell open as she gasped for breath, disregarding all decorum. Before her consciousness faded, she looked at Liang Di's faintly smiling face, and only one word echoed in her mind - monster.

“Sleep well, you useless villainess."

So, what exactly happened that day?

When she woke again, Lianglin found herself lying in bed, her memory stopping at the moment she and Liang Di entered her room, followed by a complete blank. But the mere thought of Liang Di made her body tremble, her heart race wildly, and a deep-seated fear envelop her entire being.

It had been a long time since she had felt such fear. Liang Lin sat on the bed, covering her face with her hands. It seemed that over the past few months, living as a pampered noble lady had made her too complacent, completely forgetting that the secrets of the Langwendi family were far too many.
