V1: Chapter 31: Don't Hate Me!
"And then? Then I fainted from fright. What could I do?"
"..."
"Oh..."
So much anticipation for nothing.
"So...it really was a vampire...?"
"It was a vampire, and a girl at that," the old woman said.
"Ah, a female vampire." Liang Lin stroked her chin.
Liang Di: "...That's called a Vampire Princess."
"Tsk, another monster."
"?? I suspect you're insulting me."
"No." Liang Lin felt guilty and looked away.
The old woman patted Liang Lin's shoulder and struggled to her feet. "Sigh, you two are so young, don't go out at night, just in case! Just in case."
After giving them these instructions, the old woman picked up her lantern and left.
After she left, Liang Lin suddenly realized a serious problem.
"Liang Di, why didn't you book a room with two beds?"
Liang Lin stared at the large bed in the room, stroking her chin, lost in thought, her expression somewhat downcast.
"We're all women, sleeping in one bed shouldn't be a problem, right?"
"Huh?! You, you, you! What are you doing taking off your clothes?!" Liang Lin exploded, jumping high, leaping up and slumping onto the sofa, panicked, pointing at Liang Di, "How could you take off your clothes in front of me...you, you wanton woman!"
A woman's naked body...I've only ever seen my own! Since I was focused on the battlefield, women...especially naked women!
Liang Di's top was already half off, revealing her fair shoulders, her long, silvery-white hair flowing smoothly over them, her fragrant shoulders partially exposed, her head tilted to the side, bathed in the warm yellow light, she possessed a unique charm.
"Oh? What, you'll feel something when I take off my clothes?"
Liang Di remained completely unfazed, continuing to slowly undress, even managing to tease Liang Lin a few times.
"Shameles!"
Liang Lin cursed angrily, then turned her head away, refusing to look at Liang Di. "Hurry up and change, tell me when you're done."
But then, a pair of warm hands caressed her neck, soft and smooth like an eel, gently gliding over it, before the entire arm wrapped around Liang Lin's neck. Behind her ear, Liang Di breathed softly.
"Sister Liang Lin, what's wrong?"
Liang Lin shuddered, goosebumps rising all over her body, involuntarily tightening her collar.
She seriously suspected that Liang Di was trying to seduce her.
"Stay… stay away from me!"
True to her straightforward nature, Liang Lin shoved Liang Di away. Liang Di stumbled back a few steps, reaching the edge of the bed, lost her balance, and fell onto the bed.
"Hiss~"
This woman, good, good, very good.
Liang Di still wasn't dressed properly, her smooth, white thighs exposed, her delicate little toes hooking onto the sheets. "Sister Liang Lin~ I forgot to tell you something, once I've planted the poison, I can control it anytime I want~"
Was she being threatened again?
Liang Lin, annoyed, slammed her hand on the table in a fit of rage, picking up the longsword lying to the side. "Fine, then I'll get another room. I won't stay in the same room as you!"
Liang Di's smile froze.
"You hate me that much?" She finished dressing, pursing her lips.
For some reason, the thought of Liang Lin disliking her made her feel uneasy.
Why? Why did being disliked feel so painful?
Liang Lin laughed angrily, retorting, "What do you think?"
What good impression could she possibly have of a woman who forced herself on her, toyed with her, and trampled on her dignity? How much goodwill could she possibly have?
Liang Di remained silent.
The moment Liang Lin's hand gripped the doorknob, Liang Di finally spoke.
"Don't go!"
Liang Lin ignored her and twisted the doorknob.
Liang Di gritted her teeth.
A tentacle suddenly shot out, wrapping around Liang Lin's wrist and yanking it hard. The tentacle's strength was so great that Liang Lin felt as if her wrist had dislocated, and she couldn't help but gasp.
Snap!
Bang!
This time, it was Liang Lin's turn to be pulled down. She fell to the ground with a heavy thud. "Ah... it hurts so much, it feels like my ribs are about to break." Liang Lin groaned, her eyebrows furrowing in pain.
"What...what's wrong with you now? We're outside!" Liang Lin glared at Liang Di. "You're having an episode now, you don't even care about the occasion, do you?"
Only after saying this did Liang Di realize that they weren't inside the Langwendi mansion, but in an inn. Someone could hear the noise and come knocking at any moment. She silently withdrew her tentacles.
"It's safer for the two of us to stay together. Don't go out, or I'll reopen the toxins buried in your body when you go downstairs." Liang Di's face was gloomy, her eerie green pupils gleaming dangerously. "That would be so embarrassing for you."
"You...!"
Fine, fine.
"Clang!"
Liang Lin slammed her longsword down heavily.
"Fine, I'll sleep on this chair tonight, you sleep on the bed."
"...Whatever."
She was furious, furious, so furious it hurt her lungs.
In the middle of the night, Liang Lin tossed and turned, unable to sleep. A fire burned in her chest, unable to be vented.
What's going on?
She's actually been reduced to being threatened and unable to resist. It's shameful.
"Tsk...sigh..."
"Tsk!"
Liang Lin lay on a makeshift bed made of chairs, tossing and turning.
Finally, tired from tossing and turning, she drifted off to sleep. Unbeknownst to her, in the darkness, those eerie green eyes were still watching her.
Why did she feel... lying on such a soft sofa?
No, that's not right.
It felt like lying on a cloud, so soft, so comfortable, so warm...
In her hazy state, she could even smell a pleasant fragrance. Liang Lin sniffed hard.
Hmm?
Something's wrong!
Liang Lin suddenly opened her eyes.
It was still dark, the middle of the night, but she was no longer on a chair, but lying on a bed, in Liang Di's arms. Liang Di's delicate and lovely face was close to hers; she could even see her eyelashes.
So close…
Warm tentacles were wrapped around her body; no wonder she felt like she was sleeping on a very soft sofa in her dream. Honestly, putting everything else aside, this feeling was indeed quite comfortable, like hugging a cute, large plush toy.
But, that was Liang Di.
Liang Lin was quiet for a moment, then slowly spoke: “Hey, when did you get me into bed?”
Liang Di’s eyelashes fluttered twice, seemingly unaffected by the other’s words.
Liang Lin repeated what she had just said.
“Liang Di, let me go.”
Liang Lin placed her hands against her chest, trying to push Liang Di away. But as she touched her, her fingertips felt something soft and supple—elastic fat.
