Chapter 2: Girls' Brains are Made of Sugar (That's Not True)

Girls' Brains are Made of Sugar (That's Not True)

"Listen, Yuri. Mom is so mean."

"Yes, yes, you're right, Karen-chan ♪ That's must be tough."

With a big smile on my face, I completely agreed without really listening to what was being said.

I mean, there's not even 1% substance to what Karen-chan was saying, so this is enough to hold a conversation, making her a really convenient and cute girl.

Karen, who has no idea what I was thinking, was pleased by my vague affirmation and continues to talk.

You're great for talking so much ♡ But there's no substance to it, no order to it, and besides, the fact that you only talk about yourself makes it seem like you haven't even developed a single ounce of communication ability, but it's so embarrassing and cute ♪

Just stay the way you are, okay? Until I dump you, of course.

"Mom keeps telling me that I'm in high school now! It's so annoying! I'm doing well! Right, Yuri?"

"Yeah, yeah, that's right."

That can't be true ♡

You can't see yourself objectively, and you've never even thought about it, right? You've never felt embarrassment or anything like that, right? Because I've prevented all of that from happening ♪

Even though she's a high school student, she acts like a queen, is a selfish tyrant, has a pretty bad temper, etc. Just thinking about it, she's an embarrassing person no matter where you go.

What your mother says is true.

I think you should get along better with your family. You should listen more carefully to what your mother has to say.

Well, I guess that's impossible.

I spent a long time turning Karen's brain into a gooey, sugary mess.

Her ears only hear voices that praise her, her mind only tries to understand language that affirms her, and her spirit is not satisfied unless it's 'Karen first' attitude.

I tuned it that way. I tried my best, I did my best.

She can't help but love the words that only add fat to her otherwise naive heart more than the kind and annoying words her parents say to educate her.

Girls love sweet treats, and they love sweet words just as much. They want words that are as smooth as possible, without any bitterness or harshness.

In short, they are pathetic people whose brains are made of sugar. I think it's no exaggeration to say so. The source is, of course, Karen. It's a shame to have this idiot girl as the all-girls representative, but hey, don't worry.

"Just yesterday, she said that if my test scores get any worse, she'll make me go to cram school! What's the point of studying, seriously? The author's heart? Sine, cosine? What's the concentration of salt in water? We don't need all of that in life!"

"That may be true. It's probably just calculating the change when you go shopping. Karen-chan's so smart."

"I think so too, Yuri! That's right, they're teaching us things we won't use in real life! The fact that teachers, civil servants? and politicians? are all idiots is what wastes their time and money on pointless things like that! What's more, the current education system is wrong, and the people who get praised in it are the ones who get to the top, so the mistakes continue! Do you understand, Yuri?! You understand, right?"

"Yeah, I get it. Karen-chan's amazing."

"I knew Yuri would understand! Yeah, that's right! And, the current education system is so wrong, so forcing me to go to cram school for that reason is just a waste of time! Mom's really stupid too! All adults are complete idiots!"

"Hahaha, Karen-chan is in good spirits today too."

Yuri-chan shouted out her opinions in an equally loud voice while making large gestures.

The content of what she says is rubbish, and even if you try to flatter her, you wouldn't be able to find anything to praise her for even if you thought about it for an hour, but perhaps the fact that she can speak with such confidence is one of her few virtues. Well, if the content doesn't match, then to everyone but me it's just a flaw, not a virtue.

To me, it's quite amusing, like a silly, broken radio broadcast that never stops.

If it's in a post-apocalyptic world, or rather, if she's there, I think she'll be able to find some peace of mind.

In modern Japan, it feels like the world around her would be coming to an end.

"So Karen-chan, do you have any idea what kind of job you want to do in the future? Depending on the job, you might need to go to university or something like that."

"My dream? Hmm, I guess so..."

She raised her index finger and put it to her lips, appearing to think for a moment.

"I could get a full salary job, like a doctor!"

There's no way I can do that, you idiot ♪

"Karen-chan is a cheerful girl, so I think she'll get along well with the patients."

"Hmmm, sure!"

Hmm, but this kid really does believe from the bottom of her heart that she can become a doctor.

That's amazing, seriously.

I wished she'd remember her test score the other day before she said that.

I don't want to be examined by a doctor who has at least once gotten a score like that. Who the hell didn't teach this kid common sense?

.....

Of course it's me, haha ♡

"So, is there anything else besides doctors?"

However, it's too much hassle to put up with such nonsense for too long, and I'm also a little curious about Karen's future dreams that might come true, so I cut the topic short and urged her to continue.

I don't care what happens to Karen after I abandon her, but I still want her to live long enough to not die, since she's my childhood friend. I'd be happy if she had a decent dream.

Of course, I don't want her to cause trouble to others. In other words, I don't want her to get involved with anyone.

Her first choice would be unemployed, second would be a home security guard, and third would be a part-time worker.

I'd like Karen's uncle and aunt to work for a long time and take good care of the bulky trash I created. The love between parent and child is a precious thing, after all.

While I was fantasizing about Karen's future as one of the top three, I stopped to think that her fantasy had ended.

"Well then, let me hear your answer," I said, looking her in the eye.

"My dream is not to become a doctor..."

"Yup, yup ♪"

"But to become the wife of a handsome and wealthy husband ♪"

"Karen-chan is so cute~♡"

Something wrong with your head ♡

It's true that Karen-chan is good-looking, but just face reality.

For handsome, wealthy men, there are plenty of girls with Karen-chan's looks who they'd throw away.

The image is of the famous disposable masturbator with its red and white stripes.

Girls who only look good with the hole would usually be used for a one-night stand with a handsome, rich man and then say goodbye.

Unlike Karen-chan, these people are not just good-looking, but also smart, wealthy, and have good personalities.

Rich people would choose a higher class. Didn't you know that? You really lack common sense ♡

The best route for a girl who has nothing but good looks to earn money is to use her body.

Hmm, is that all?

Whether it's the sex industry, AV, or something illegal, she would have no choice but to join those guys and desperately scrape together money while fearing that her body's prime will pass every year.

Even if Karen were to open her legs to a man in the future, it wouldn't be for a handsome or rich husband, but for a big shot in the industry, or some old man whose name she doesn't even know, who isn't handsome, and certainly isn't rich.

Let's face reality ♡

"I don't need to study to be a bride, right? I'm cute! If I can't become a doctor, I'll just marry a handsome, rich man!"

"If that happens, please invite me to your wedding. We're childhood friends after all."

"Well... I guess it's okay if you promise not to flirt with my husband."

"Hahaha. I wouldn't do that."

Of course not. Or rather, why are you already feeling a sense of superiority and possessiveness about a future husband that was nothing more than a fantasy or a fantasy?

We were just talking hypothetically, but the way she looks down on me with such gusto as if she had actually married into wealth makes me feel a mixture of emotions: "Are you serious...?" kind disgust, and "That's so pathetic and cute♡"  kind of adoration.

The ratio is usually about 1:100.

Karen is so cute. It was worth all the effort to create this monster.

……Hmm?

"What on earth are you guys talking about in a classroom at school?"

Oh, Kikka-chan ♡
