Chapter 40: The Succubi Join the Fray!
Twenty-one succubi merge into a writhing mass of flesh—Doskebe Body United—and swarm the white-clad boy who calls himself a god, turning it into a 21-on-1 all-out handicap brawl!
Not gods versus demons, but a self-proclaimed god versus succubi—the decisive showdown! Hamel-mageddon approaches!
In a world of swords and sorcery that was once (nominally) an all-ages, wholesome MMORPG, a barricade of female bodies manifests. A human wall of lust.
They writhe as if a single organism—an antlion pit of living flesh, or a blasphemous group acrobatics routine.
The legendary succubus power tears clothing away.
The boy’s proud white long coat. His white shirt. His white trousers.
At last, even his white briefs are spat out through the gaps of the fused, lewd demon beast and flutter down—like falling feathers, like petals from a plucked flower.
The plaza before the royal palace of Larentinia, the capital famed as the City of Water, has become a hunting ground of lust.
Open season. A frontier where ravenous, ultra-lewd monsters become hunters.
The chastity of the G-God-class boy caught in the trap flickers like a candle in the wind, life’s starlight scattering.
A spiral of flame woven by succubi of every color. Rararara—at a certain pitch, the gates of a particular hell swing open.
Super Indecency Time! Coming up next!
……
"Come on…♡ Don’t struggle…♡ Don’t hold back—just give in…♡"
"Ufufu♡ You’re so cute…♡ Is this your weak spot, I wonder…♡"
"You’re already twitching like this…♡ You want to let it out, don’t you…♡ It’s fine, go ahead…♡ Spill it all…♡"
"Ahaha♡ There it is♡ You dropped five whole levels at once♡♡"
"That’s not fair♡ Share with me too♡ Come on, I’ll drink it all♡ Mmm…♡ Amazing…♡ Eight levels♡ It’s overflowing from my mouth♡♡♡ Who said you could lose levels without permission? Die."
"Look, it’s still like this here…♡ You’d been stockpiling experience, huh…♡♡"
"Let’s squeeze out even more levels…♡ I’ll milk you dry until your experience hits zero…♡"
"Noooo♡ Stoppp♡ Don’t drain my levels anymoooore♡ I won’t be able to use magic♡ My skills won’t activate either♡ Noooo♡ My stats are turning pure white♡♡ I’ll be trash♡♡ I’ll be low-level trash♡♡♡♡"
Before the incomprehensible chorus of moans leaking from the mass of flesh, their companions stood frozen in shock.
"M-my palace… right in front of my palace… before the historic Larentinia Palace… w-what is the meaning of this…!"
As the succubi’s orgy unfolds before the palace, Queen Tilda—the loli-granny with a severe shortage of granny vibes—drops to her knees and squeezes out a wail of despair.
"You were nodding like you had some kind of plan, so I bought us time, nya… I never imagined it’d be like this, nya…"
"Well, if both magic and physical attacks just bounce off him, this was the only way, right? We don’t know what would happen fighting a level-500 guy head-on. Honestly, thank goodness the succubi were here."
"But even surrounded by succubi, didn’t he still have plenty of chances to escape?"
"…Didn’t you know? You can’t escape boobs…!"
If what that boy said about being part of the game’s management was true, there was a high chance he was an adult man.
And any healthy adult man, faced with an oncoming horde of boobs—of every color, shape, and variety—could never muscle his way out.
I thought I was stating a universal truth, but Ririka and Natsumi glared at me with open contempt.
Damn it—was the old man inside the cat ears not a boob guy but an ass man? A grievous betrayal.
"I’d escape."
The bro-style, beefy macho guy looked away from the succubi with a troubled expression, but he was clearly the exception.
"Anyway, the threat is gone! Shogo, are you okay?"
"Yeah. Thanks to Her Majesty’s healing magic. I’m alive."
Shogo offered his thanks, but the queen was still on all fours, lamenting before the writhing mass.
"Good thing we evacuated the townspeople, nya. If they’d seen this happening right in front of the palace, this country would’ve been beyond recovery, nya."
"Well, something weird crashed the party, but this should finally settle things. So, where’s the mastermind—Yuta’s mom…"
Pulling my eyes away from the succubi clinging to Kamui, I scanned the area and spotted Yuta’s mom shoving Beatrix aside as she staggered to her feet, hair in disarray.
"Ahaha, ahahahaha! A god, my ass, you little shit! You’re completely useless!"
Laughing like a madwoman, Yuta’s mom raised five keys glowing with an eerie purple light toward the sky.
The keys shone with baleful intensity, floated upward, and were each swallowed by five black keyholes that opened in empty space.
"T-those are the Demon King’s Keys, nya! When did you steal them, nya!?"
"Don’t underestimate a veteran who grew up running the black markets in the empty postwar years, you brats! If my body can move, this is nothing!"
Honestly, we’d underestimated Yuta’s mom. This old hag was terrifyingly tough.
"If we defeat the Demon King you summon with those, we can go back to Japan, right!? Come on, I summoned it for you! Hurry up and beat it and send us home!"
"We don’t have any weapon that can defeat it, nya! And summoning it right in the middle of the city—do you have any idea how much damage that’ll cause, nya!?"
"I don’t care! Who gives a damn what happens to this city or country—or this world! Someone can beat it, right!? If we die here, we’ll just wait it out! Now come on! Demon King or general or president, I don’t care—get out here!"
The holes that swallowed the keys overlapped into one, forming a massive circle of darkness. A humanoid silhouette emerged and descended to the ground.
Seeing its form, we gasped, eyes wide.
"…That’s lame."
"…I wasn’t expecting much from the name, nya, but this is pretty bad, nya."
"…Doctor Ma—something?"
"…Nah, isn’t that more like Space-what’s-his-face? From Alien?"
"…I mean, as a boss, it’s kind of a standard look. Big bald guy."
From the black void emerged a large bald man with blue skin.
A black cape fluttered from spiked shoulder pads. A studded cross-strap harness crossed his chest. Black, leather-like pants and boots with knee guards covered his lower half.
He stood nearly three meters tall, but the overall impression was less “Demon King” and more “alien from a hero movie wearing an end-of-the-century savior cosplay.”
"N-no♡ That guy♡ Ahh♡ i-isn’t♡ the Demon King♡!"
Finally freed from the succubi, Kamui forced the words out as his naked, pale body trembled violently.
"There’s no way♡ you could summon♡ the Demon King♡!"
"What are you saying!? Isn’t this thing the Demon King!? And talk properly—you’re annoying!"
Snapped at by Dias, Kamui took a deep breath and continued.
"Even if you gather the keys, you can’t summon the Demon King! The Demon King—Root-Annihilation Demon King Bad End—was never implemented because the designer ran away, and there wasn’t time for design or balancing!"
"What do you mean, nya!? Demon King subjugation was supposed to be the final event tied to service shutdown, nya!"
"It was a dying game with barely any players left anyway, so they forced it through to milk gacha money, thinking no one would ever reach it! There was never a Demon King! Collecting the keys was just a smokescreen to hide the fact that we didn’t know how long this world would last!"
"Then what the hell is that blue baldy!?"
"I don’t know! I’ve never seen anything like that! I don’t kn—ahhh♡!"
As Kamui revealed the shocking truth, Sapphire’s hand reached from behind and silenced him.
The unidentified blue baldy—apparently not the Demon King—opened his mouth.
"…Was it you who summoned me?"
"That’s right! Kill those little shits already!"
"Naturally, I will kill all living things. …But first, I shall grant a reward."
The blue baldy grabbed Yuta’s mom by the face and lifted her into the air.
"I grant you the honor of becoming my first offering. Be grateful."
"…!?"
Her body ignited. The writhing figure engulfed in flames quickly collapsed into a blackened mass, crumbling apart and vanishing as sparks that scattered like particles of light.
"Mom!!"
Witnessing her mother’s annihilation before her eyes, Beatrix pulled a glowing double-edged sword from her item box and slashed at the blue baldy.
The blade failed to even scratch his skin. He took the blow without flinching, the impact rebounding as if it had struck solid stone or metal.
"Such a thing cannot inflict even a scratch upon me."
As Beatrix fell onto her backside, her sword knocked from her grasp, the blue baldy reached toward her.
"Erika!"
"Roger!"
At my shout, three Ericas blasted jets from their feet and charged forward.
One scooped up Beatrix and disengaged, while the other two slammed a fist and a kick into the blue baldy.
Even after taking the hits, he didn’t budge an inch. Instead, the armored arm and leg of the attacking Ericas shattered on impact.
"Pathetic."
The blue baldy seized the Erica whose arm had been crushed by the head and crushed it outright.
As the headless body collapsed, sparks spraying from the severed neck, the Erica whose leg had been destroyed fired heat beams from both hands. They struck the blue baldy squarely, but only smoke billowed out—there was no sign of damage.
"Pointless."
The heat beams fizzled out. As the one-legged Erica pitched forward, the blue baldy placed a foot on her and crushed her upper body.
"W-what the hell, nya!? He looks like that, but he’s way too strong, nya!"
"This is bad! We really might need to run!"
With two Ericas instantly destroyed without accomplishing anything, Ririka and Natsumi panicked. I was panicking too. That thing wasn’t normal.
Even so, Shogo held his ground and shouted at the blue baldy.
"Who are you!? You’re not the Demon King!?"
"I am the Demon King… I am the bringer of ruin."
The blue baldy spread both arms wide in an exaggerated gesture and proclaimed it.
"I am the Root Annihilation Great Demon King Catastrophe! I am the one who destroys all life! I am the one who shall end this world!"
What the hell? None of this made any sense.
The event boss that was supposed to be summoned by collecting the five keys—the Root Annihilation Demon King Bad End—had never been implemented due to the worst kind of developer negligence. And yet, standing before us was a blue baldy calling himself the Root Annihilation Great Demon King.
The name Catastrophe was about as tasteless as Bad End. And even if Erica’s cyborg bodies meant no damage to her true self, the fact remained that two SF cheat androids had been effortlessly wiped out.
"Master, the target’s surface hardness and physical strength exceed projections by over 400%. Total combat capability remains unknown, rendering danger level immeasurable. Destroying my cyborg bodies is impossible for any natural organism of that size. I recommend immediate withdrawal from this area or elimination via large-scale weaponry."
"…Yeah. We might really need to run."
Hearing the report from the remaining Erica beside me, I seriously considered retreat. We might have to evacuate the entire royal capital—and actually drop a nuclear missile.
"Such a swarm of insects. You are numerous, at least."
The Great Demon King blue baldy surveyed the area, then brought his glowing palms together in front of his chest. He was preparing something.
"Master! Abnormal particle vibration detected in the surrounding area! The scale is unprecedented! Atoms affected between the target’s hands are colliding in a chain reaction, generating massive energy! This is nuclear fusion—he is preparing a nuclear attack!"
A nuclear attack!?
At Erica’s utterly out-of-place report for a fantasy world, everyone present froze.
"T-that’s also an ultimate spell that never got implemented, desu~♡ No more~♡ Everyone’s gonna dieee~♡"
An unsettling, tension-shattering voice drifted in from somewhere. Come to think of it, older versions of the game did have lore about attacks like that—tilt-type magic that interfered with mass and weight.
"Stop it with an EMP!"
"Impossible! Once the target releases the energy, detonation will be instantaneous!"
"Everyone retreat behind us! Drop the Crusader! Land it directly on top of him and deploy maximum-output shields the moment it touches down! Contain it!"
At Erica’s warning and my orders, the former Earth players reacted instantly, dragging along the utterly bewildered local NPCs and succubi as they fell back behind me and Erica. From directly above the blue baldy, the walking tank Crusader descended, grabbing him and restraining him while deploying a spherical plasma shield around itself.
"The Crusader IV’s shield won’t be able to contain it!"
"Drop the Dragoon between us and use it as a shield! Deploy our own shields the instant the blast hits!"
"Roger!"
A thirty-meter-long transport craft plummeted down in front of us at crash speed. The impact canceled its stealth, and the dark gray hull concealed the blue baldy and the Crusader from view.
"W-will it hold, nya!? Can we block it, nya!?"
"How should I know!? If this doesn’t work, start praying you’ll revive!"
"It’s coming!"
Both Ericas stepped in front of me as they issued the warning, deploying shields in perfect synchronization with the Dragoon.
The next instant,
the sky,
the world itself,
was swallowed by white light.
