Chapter 1
On the sea of planet Earth, artificial islands were found rubbing up against the waters of Japanese territory, with a cold night hanging over them. Their position was always constant and always stable; almost like the islands Mother Nature brought into the world.
This is a place known to the world as Neo Tokyo, a small collective of man-made artificial islands floating in the Pacific Ocean about 185 kilometers south of old Tokyo, free from the planet's tectonic plates and untouched by the horrific earthquakes that leveled old Tokyo and nearly destroyed all of Japan in the past, held in place by powerful "Magnetic Anchors" made of carbon fiber and resin, all constructed using the most advanced technology of the time.
Since that "rift" opened and "it" crashed into Earth 60 years ago, inevitably changing the course of human history forever...
The pale moonlight in the skies of this humble planet softly illuminated the city made up of islands of purely artificial nature, and the sea surrounding each island beautifully reflected its cold, silver light.
The total area of the artificial island complex was approximately 377 square kilometers, and its population exceeded two billion. Each of these islands, of varying size, was connected by extremely durable bridges that allowed the passage of automobiles and electromagnetic propulsion trains powered by Hydron.
It was a vast eco-friendly city that harnessed ocean currents, sunlight, and winds to supply its energy, packed with cutting-edge technology that didn't pollute the planet.
It was already midnight and a new day would soon begin in the Neo Tokyo Islands.
The windows of the buildings, with their lights off, reflected the light from the streetlights, which absorbed solar radiation during the day and emitted it at night in the form of light to illuminate the streets. The reflection of this light gave them a magical appearance, as if in a dreamlike scene in the darkness of the night.
The bustling city of Neo Tokyo today, as seen by any air traveler, would appear to be a sea of holograms, with various advertisements and anime or game characters projected in the air; with many convenience stores, family-run restaurants, and karaoke bars thriving even at this hour when everyone should be under the warm embrace of Morpheus.
Some of these facilities were staffed by advanced robots and androids who maintained the interiors, all with an exquisite artificial beauty that only the engineering of the 20th century could achieve.
The streets, packed with young people and teenagers, seemed to be alive. Some were laughing innocently at a joke or simply because someone had made a funny little mistake; others were sharing strange rumors, using them to kill boredom, since they had nothing better to do that night than go out and have fun with their friends.
A boy with dog ears and a blue shirt that had a beautiful silver-haired anime girl with violet eyes designed on it whispered, quietly telling a recent story with seriousness to two of his friends.
—Did you know? It is said that the Black Ryuu is a government experiment created to hunt down the worst juvenile delinquents of the Neo Tokyo Islands at night, protecting the peace of the common students with an iron fist and a fearsome gaze like that of a beast. His inhuman strength and mastery of martial arts were overwhelming, allowing him to easily annihilate an army of delinquents from the incorrigible Fukigawa District without a single wound. Always undefeated and unbeatable, no delinquent can defeat him. No one seems able to ever surpass the ferocity and lethality of the Black Ryuu; all have been powerless before his martial power, unmatched in his generation.
The short girl beside him, who wore a design of a handsome boy with black hair and golden eyes on her jacket, just snorted with a bored expression in response as she manipulated an electric current coming out of her hand at the same time that the muscular man of the trio—who was holding a holographic terminal with images of a game on it—opened his mouth politely, his disinterest evident in his gaze. "Uh... Like this? And what else?"
—...
——This was the land of Neo Tokyo, the new capital of Japan in the year 2115, the most advanced city in the world where alien technology, anomalous beings with paranormal abilities, and genetically altered humans were the norm since the “Warp Disaster” event that caused the first not-so-friendly contact with another civilization...
A powerful teenager who is supposedly a government experiment capable of defeating an army of strong delinquents using martial arts and supernatural strength... Even if such an absurd rumor were true, it wasn't something very surprising in a casual conversation like this.
It was a shame, however, that this peculiar "normality" of its time was about to end in the worst possible way... Yet, despite everything, the world will continue to turn toward its destiny, won't it?
The subject of these rumors among the youth of the Neo Tokyo Islands, the "Black Ryuu", was currently walking down the sidewalk of one of the Neo Tokyo Islands districts in the Central area towards a residential area where his apartment was located.
He had the appearance of a young adult wearing what looked like a black parka with white stripes and a hood that, for some reason, appeared to have wolf ears.
The "Black Ryuu" was carrying a bag he had brought from a convenience store, and although he seemed to take a somewhat weak step on the street, he was constantly scanning his surroundings with his fierce gaze, seemingly on the lookout for any threat.
His naturally sharp gray eyes and handsome, yet contradictorily frightening, face were features that would undoubtedly make you think he was a dangerous criminal.
His hair was jet black and untidy, resembling the fur of a wild black wolf. Add to that his height and strong physique, and he's not someone you can easily mess with. Especially when you sense the intimidating and overwhelming aura surrounding him, coupled with his height, even taller than that of a Western man.
However, the guy who looked as dangerous as a murderer on the prowl and made several people flee upon seeing him, at this moment...
Damn old man, to think he would force me to train this much as a punishment... Wasn't I making good use of martial arts and the will of Chi? Shouldn't I be doing things that reveal the power of Chi to the ignorant masses? Tsk, tsk!... Why can't I use martial arts to protect lives? Why should we care about revealing the power of Chi in a world full of abnormalities? You stupid old man!
…complaining about his old, outdated martial arts teacher, while he fantasized about spending another good night of fun with a wonderful woman at home.
Haha... Anyway, I hope my Yūna-chan brings me lots of comfort again with her body tonight! Though I guess she'd rather play [Britannia: Lost Order] than sleep with me... Tsk tsk, what's so great about a FLS related to that failed franchise? And what was New Type Moon thinking officially adapting the work of the idiot who produced that stupid series as part of the Nasuverse with that game? It was a terrible idea no matter how you look at it...!
... Mash Kyrielight as the protagonist of the first part is great, however... it's quite morbid to have her fight in another parallel world when the Human Order of Earth or whatever is in danger... No, wait, is that why the name!? Lost Order... Fair enough, I guess!
Anyway, I hope my gift convinces her to let me enjoy the feast that is... No, I must first use Grandpa's hentai anime to liven things up! I must thank him for the wonderful hentai from the BFS years to tempt this old anime fan into action!
He thought about all this with a perverted smile as he surveyed his surroundings with the demeanor of a soldier in enemy territory. He couldn't help but feel cautious. After all, he had a lot more enemies lately. His recent reputation as the infamous "Genocidal Criminal, Black Ryuu" preceded him.
While he didn't kill anyone, it was a title that stuck with him forever, as a civilian with no anomalous abilities or martial training recorded him surrounded by what looked like a battlefield littered with gang corpses (unconscious and visibly beaten criminals), the broadcast going viral throughout his high school, the island district itself, and eventually all of Neo Tokyo... in just a few hours!
His uncle and sensei were understandably furious after he broke out of the detention center where the officers were holding him... and now, understandably, it was to be expected that those guys he mercilessly kicked wouldn't stay quiet.
Still, he didn't regret committing the alleged "Massacre" at all. After all, unscrupulous members of that gang had kidnapped a girl whose boyfriend they had nearly severely beaten and then gang-raped her.
He, the powerful and kind Shigaraki Sora, didn't like forced NTR.
While I didn't hate NTR with a passion, having enjoyed a few out of curiosity where the hot girl cheated on her own free will, I couldn't understand how some idiots seemed to want to imitate a tragic NTR anime to beat the shit out of a guy's girlfriend and make her finally have sex with them willingly like a bitch in heat (they said so themselves after a "friendly chat").
So he beat them up and, as a result, was arrested, albeit briefly, as the girl bravely defended him alongside her strong-willed boyfriend, and he was released from jail today. After that, he was simultaneously scolded by the two men in his life (No, homo, that's a form of sarcasm!) and forced by his sensei to train hard until he was exhausted.
If it weren't for the fact that he could control his Chi energy and had several energy supplements made with the best that the most advanced biotechnology had to offer, Sora wouldn't be able to walk right now, let alone have his "fun."
While thinking about how much fun he would have with the girl named Yüna, the cautious Sora immediately noticed the presence of several boys quietly approaching. He narrowed his eyes as he gently clenched his free fist.
The people, already alerted to Sora's presence and his dangerous gaze, quickly fled when they saw that he was surrounded by what looked like... Intimidating teenage clowns with metal bats?
—I was hoping you'd try to get revenge for the sake of your miserable, laughable pride, but really? Clown Mask? Are you going to defeat me by making me laugh at how ridiculous this is?
Grimacing at the clown-masked gang members surrounding her as she manipulated the Chi within her body to move at will through the spirit paths—heightening her senses as much as possible—Sora let out a loud joke as she dropped the bag to the ground.
Their eyes shone with a murderous glare that shocked the criminals with its extraordinary ferocity. Still, they didn't hesitate and relied on the strength of their numbers to emerge victorious and reap their reward.
"They're not very talkative, are they?" he whispered with a wry smile. His brain began to work at full speed under the stimulation of the vital energy coursing through the pathways of his thinking organ.
The number of enemies is smaller than that gang as a whole, but from what I can tell from their Auras, almost all of them are experienced in the basics of Chi generation and manipulation... Regardless of who the irresponsible person was who taught the spiritual paths to a group of idiots, I have to admit that they are very different from your average rabble; there are also those who know a bit of martial arts based on their movements.
Besides...
Sora noticed that the metal bats emitted electrical sparks or a faint white glow. With his keen senses, he could not only perceive the unusual waves of chi energy coursing through some of these subjects, over which many had little control, but also the pulsing electricity emanating from the Anomaly.
These morons are definitely "Abnormal"; some of their Chi is even interfering with the surrounding electromagnetic force to a certain extent. They're too weak based on the energy waves they emanate, but there are a total of 7 of them... this will be a bit annoying anyway... Anyway, aren't these bastards underestimating me too much? They must know they need more than that to give me a real challenge, let alone defeat me.
…No. It's pretty obvious they sent them here without enough information on me, hoping the numbers would be of some use to them. A slightly wolfish grin formed on his face.
It should be known that the "Anomalous" here were not like those Espers from the old anime To Aru Majutsu no Index who could obtain powers as amazing as Misaka Makoto or Accelerator, capable of acting as strategic level weapons in human form; in the same way that martial artists like Sora could not be like the Legendary Goku and use pure Chi energy attacks to destroy cities in a matter of minutes during a fight... as far as he knew.
In any case, even as anomalous ability users, they were still at a level where they could be killed by the government's advanced technology. They couldn't act any more recklessly than common criminals. Not to mention the naive people with such mediocre anomalous abilities.
Without saying a word, the clowns rushed Sora, seemingly intent on giving him the beating of his life. The sight of over 17 men running towards you in clown masks and carrying electrified or glowing metal bats wasn't ridiculous at all and would send most people into a panic.
However, there was only a sordid smile on Black Ryuu's fierce but attractive face.
