Chapter 26: It's Not a Match and Pump! Become Golden, Perverted Gentleman Spirit!

This episode showcases unparalleled knowledge of the original work!

...Is that correct? (←Suddenly feeling uneasy)

Chapter 26: It's Not a Match and Pump! Become Golden, Perverted Gentleman Spirit!

[Former University Professor Arrested on Suspicion of Illegal Drug Experimentation]

[CEO of a Major Corporation Arrested on Suspicion of Human Trafficking]

Throwing the newspaper with those large headlines onto her desk, Mima leaned back deeply in her chair.

"It's a shame that we can't reveal the truth, considering it's Maria-ojou-sama's achievement," Sougi, the head maid, said, placing a teacup of tea on the desk.

Mima smiled wryly, sat up, and reached for it.

"It can't be helped. If it were made public that we used her power of "Foresight" to uncover a crime, the world would be in an uproar. The fact that Maria is a Saint must still be kept a secret for now."

Sipping her tea, Mima recalled the time in early November when Maria rushed into this office, excited and with a troubled look on her face.

"Two girls who are going to be my friends are in danger!"

Given the incident where she revived the Phoenix Staff that had been dormant within Tomoe, Mima immediately took a deep breath and listened intently to Maria's story.

A former university professor is planning a magic enhancement experiment.

A large corporation is secretly operating a child trafficking operation.

In the two incidents Maria recounts, two girls become victims, one girl for each case.

"Please, Mima-nee-sama!!! Please save them!!!"

This is the first plea from Maria, her sister's beloved child, whom Mima now considers like her own daughter after six months.

Mima was moved and mobilized the entire Madozono family to begin the investigation.

Although the crime scene Maria had foreseen was vague, the real names of the perpetrators and victims were clearly known, and the date and time of the incident, as well as the key elements for solving it, were also clear.

Therefore, the investigation progressed smoothly.

Working in cooperation with the police, and with a perfect lineup of gathered evidence, they executed a plan to apprehend the perpetrators at the decisive moment.

The result was a resounding success.

The two girls who were supposed to be victims were safely rescued, and the illegal drug trafficking route, organized crime groups, and human trafficking rings were dismantled. Corrupt politicians, police officials, and prominent businesspeople were arrested one after another in a massive crackdown.

The resolution of both cases was due to Maria's "foresight", but only a handful of people, including Mima and others connected to the Madozono family, knew this fact.

Firstly, it was to protect the young Maria from public scrutiny, and to keep the fact that Maria was a Saint a secret.

Maria's extraordinary magical power, talent, and ability to foresee the future make it inevitable that she will one day be recognized as a Saint.

However, Maria is still far too young.

No matter how exceptional her magical power, she's still a child, and there are concerns about whether she can learn to protect herself.

Even though security is tight, Mima believes that the risk of Maria becoming the center of attention should be avoided until she is more mature.

Thinking about Maria's future and safety, a smile faintly formed on Mima's lips.

"Besides, Maria only ever thought about helping those two. There's not a shred of ambition or desire for self-display. I'm sure she and those two will become good friends in the future."

Mima rejoiced at the thought of Maria gaining good friends in the future, as if it were her own achievement.

"The Imado family, the Toribiki family. Both are prestigious families of Exorcists....

I still can't believe it's a coincidence. Perhaps they are being guided by the Destiny of the Saint."

The moment Sougi uttered the word Destiny, Mima's expression suddenly clouded over.

Sensing this immediately, Sougi bowed deeply.

"I apologize. That was a slip of the tongue."

The Saint is destined to fight evil Kaima, and to destroy them at the cost of her own life.

Her master, Mima, is trying to defy the 'Destiny of the Saint' as described in legend, in order to protect her niece, Maria.

In front of such a master, the word 'Destiny' was not something to be spoken lightly.

"No, it's alright. I certainly feel something fateful about it. Those two children we saved will surely become excellent Exorcists—and they will be of help to Maria.

This is just my intuition, though."

"If it's your intuition, Madam, then it must be correct."

Sougi's nod was not merely flattery.

Sougi also felt a premonition that this would happen.

Those who seek light in Maria, a rare and extraordinary being, will gather in the future.

That was the premonition.

"We also must be of help to Maria too."

"Yes..."

The approaching threat remains unseen.

But Mima and Sougi, who knew of its existence beforehand, reaffirmed their resolve to protect the Child of Destiny, Maria.

★★★

Meanwhile, Maria, naturally, hadn't given it much thought.

The crisis facing Imado Kirie, and Toribiki Mai, only suddenly came to her mind some time after November had begun.

(That's right, those event are in this month!)

The tragic events that twisted their destinies, as described in the setting documents, its all happened in November, on their sixth birthdays.

(This is bad, seriously bad.)

Even the usually carefree Maria was alarmed by this.

The time limit to save the two girls was approaching.

There was no time.

She had to save them as quickly as possible!

However, at this point, Maria hesitated slightly before saving them.

After all, the two are indispensable treacherous henchmen for the downfall of the villainess, Maria.

First, regarding Kirie's original setting...

Due to harsh experiments from her childhood, she had almost completely lost her body's ability to generate magic.

Through drug administration and magic replenishment through sexual magic rituals introduced by her father, she barely managed to become a student at Kikuchigami Academy as an Exorcist, and became one of Maria's henchmen.

And then, at a crucial moment, she betrays Maria.

She traps Maria, and, like herself, reduces her to a test subject for her father, Imado Kaizou.

"Kirie-san...!? Weren't we friends!?"

"Don't joke with me, Maria-'ojou-sama'  You see, I've always hated you for always being so arrogant about your magical powers!

I couldn't help but hate you for so long!"

"Th-that's so awful...."

"Hehe. Maria, you're so cute. You get hurt like that just from my betrayal. And from now on, you'll be hurt physically as well."

"What?! Ah! Nooooooooooo!"

Afterward, Maria, along with the original protagonist Kadomatsu Hirona, is subjected to physical modification by Kaizo, and is raped, ultimately ending up as a breeding ground for artificially creating Kaima.

Next, there's Mai in the original story—her public face is that of a businessman, but secretly she's involved in human trafficking and prostitution.

She suffered continuous sexual abuse from Sunpu Eita during her childhood, and as a result of being controlled both physically and mentally, she loses the ability to express joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness in normal life.

The only time she reveals feelings of joy is in R18 scenes.

She is a tragic girl who has already fallen into a life of pleasure-induced depravity.

At Sunpu's command, who was captivated by young Maria's appearance, she enrolls in Kikuchigami Academy, and becomes one of Maria's followers.

Naturally, this was to become a spy, reporting every single detail of Maria's information.

And then, at a crucial moment, she betrays Maria.

She sets a trap for Maria, intending to make her fall prey to Sunpu's clutches, just like Mai did.

She strips Maria of her resistance and confines her to a secret basement.

"Mai-san...!? Weren't we friends!?"

"We are friends, aren't we?"

"Then why are you doing this!? If you say we're friends, please release me!"

"That's not going to happen. Maria-sama will also be pampered by Master, just like Mai.

It's okay. It feels really good, you know? You won't be able to think about anything else, you know?"

"Eh...? Ah!? N-Noooooooooooooooooo!!!"

Afterward, Maria, along with the original protagonist Kadomatsu Hirona, was imprisoned by Sunpu, and subjected to repeated abuse, ultimately meeting an END where she spent her life as a sex slave in a mansion on an island owned by Sunpu.

For the reincarnated Maria, both endings were equally exquisite and utterly disastrous.

Maria was tormented by the desire to conquer both routes.

She regretted not having received the 'Return by Death' skill with a save function as a reincarnation cheat perk, she was now regretting it terribly.

Putting that aside, Maria hesitated about saving the two.

Maria recalled the beliefs she held deep within her heart.

[“It’s enough for me to be the only one who is unhappy!

All girls deserve to be happy!”]

The first part of her statement is simply bewildering.

However, the second part is a perfectly reasonable belief.

Because Maria held such a complex and twisted belief, she fundamentally could not overlook the unhappiness of girls.

But even so, she wavers.

Alongside her beliefs, the very source that drives her—her desires and cravings—whispers sweet words to her.

(Is it really alright to destroy two crucial paths to ruin?)

The future is unpredictable, so shouldn't she leave the option of ruin open, as much as possible...?

Maria's heart wavers at the thought of hedging her bets against uncertainty.

But realizing her own weakness, Maria's trembling heart heats to the point of burning out.

NO!!!

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

YES to Loli!!!

NO to Touch!!!

Even if she's a pervert with pink-colored brain, her gentleman's spirit is gold!!!

(Is it impossible to achieve ruinous happiness without sacrificing someone else?!

Is it impossible to overcome the end of the future without misfortune?!

Are you saying such a miracle won't happen?!

No, miracles do happen!!!

I'LL MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

What value could there be in ruinous happiness achieved at the expense of two girls' misfortune?!

With that kind of attitude, I can't proudly embrace my ruin!!!)

With a sudden burst of energy, Maria's eyes widened, and she awakened.

At that point, Maria was like a whirlwind of lightning.

"Please, Mima-nee-sama!!! Please help them!!!"

She pleaded with Mima for immediate assistance, almost to the point of sliding on her knees.

There's no one like Ju**u A**ta to give you a serious lecture, saying, "Why couldn't you have used that straightforwardness and integrity more effectively!"

While she barely remembers the original story text, except for the H-scenes, Maria has thoroughly read the setting materials.

She skillfully conveyed her knowledge of Kirie and Mai's childhood to Mima, successfully eliminating the villains.

The two girls were safely rescued.

And so two disastrous routes have been thwarted, but this reincarnated Maria is not one to give up easily.

She's unnecessarily positive.

To ensure the two girls remember her face, she has meticulously volunteered to cast healing magic at the crime scene.

(You two will both be in perfect physical and mental health and enroll in Kikuchigami Academy, right?!

I'll be enrolling too, so become part of Madozono's group!

I'll be waiting! Make sure you betray me in the future!)

With a smile full of ulterior motives, she cast a healing spell on the two girls, using her thousand times overpowered magic.

(Now the betrayal flag is perfectly set!)

Maria breathed a huge sigh of relief.

However, Maria still didn't understand that her appearance possessed a bewitching beauty.

No matter how self-centered and wicked her smile may have been, it always appeared as the pure smile of a beautiful young girl.

What would happen if heartbroken girls saw such a smile right before their eyes...?

(Angel, an Angel has appeared to save me)

Maria's smile was clearly imprinted on the hearts of the two girls, and etched into their minds.

How could those two possibly harbor any treacherous feelings toward their savior?

The two children, who should have had a tragic past, instead developed an absolute loyalty to their savior.

Maria, a pathetic (?) monster who couldn't understand human hearts, had absolutely no idea that this was happening.

She hadn't even noticed that she had raised not a betrayal flag, but a loyalty flag, and Maria was in high spirits.

"Alright, that settles it! Time for a bath!"

"Ha ha ha!" Maria laughed to herself, but she had no idea at the time that she would later reflect on this:

"Why did it end up being so different from the original?"

AN:

I had so much fun writing the part where Maria's heart starts to heat up!

I wonder if I got a little too excited? (^_^;)
