Chapter 105: Follower (Part 2)
The Kessoku Band girls looked at the person, then back at Hayato with confusion.
Seika, who had just emerged from the backstage, saw this scene, froze for a moment, and immediately thought of various scenes of scumbags being exposed.
"Heh heh~"
She instantly broke into a mischievous smile, sat down in a corner, and prepared to watch the show.
Although Seika rarely interfered in the interactions between the five of them, she could still sense from their usual atmosphere that while they maintained the appearance of band friends, there were actually undercurrents of tension.
She could only worry secretly from the sidelines, concerned that pervert might actually start a harem, as he had previously said.
But now, it had finally arrived.
'Explode for me quickly! Tear open this scumbag's facade, expose his two-timing behavior, and block him for me!'
She thought this in her heart, but her eyes held a hint of worry.
...
Hayato indeed knew this girl, and quite well.
He had interacted with her frequently for over two years in junior high.
Her name was Hongo Amane, the daughter of a lawyer he had met when he was looking for backstage connections.
Although they weren't in the same school, she was very interested in what Hayato was doing and quickly joined in, becoming one of the people who formed the club with Hayato.
There was only one reason she would come looking for him.
But Hayato was no longer interested in playing childish games as he had in the past.
"What are you doing here? Everything that needed to be said has been said, hasn't it?"
He said, walking forward, intending to send her away before things got complicated.
But Hongo Amane seemed to see through his thoughts, extending a slender hand to block his path, her voice sounding very articulate as she said, "Hayato, if you want to leave with me, I don't mind going out with you. If not, if you dare touch me, I'll call the police."
Hayato paused, a little surprised.
Had this person forgotten who he was?
Hayato responded with an, "Oh."
After saying that, he walked forward without a care, lifted the desperately resisting Hongo Amane onto his shoulder, and carried her.
"Wait, you pervert! Let go! I'm calling the police!"
Hayato completely ignored her desperate grip on the handrail and her flailing legs, as if he didn't feel her struggle at all.
He said to the five people in the store, "I'm going to head out to throw something away."
After saying that, he calmly carried her out by her waist, under the stunned gazes of the five people in the store.
Only after Hongo Amane was carried out of the store did she realize that her meager strength was useless against Hayato.
She reached out her hand with difficulty, fumbled in her pocket, and pulled out her phone.
Hayato ignored her, letting her do as she pleased.
"I'm really going to call the police," she threatened with her phone.
"Whatever. By the way, you sure have forgotten your impression of me pretty quickly, haven't you?" Hayato said, carrying her out of the store door without a care.
The warning look on Hongo Amane's face faded, and she let her hand, holding the phone, drop weakly.
"This feeling of being helpless against you is the second time."
"If you know that, then go back quickly."
Hayato said, walking up the sunken steps, continuing to walk without a care for the shocked expressions of passersby.
Hongo Amane slumped onto his shoulder in defeat.
After walking a few dozen meters, Hayato put her down.
Just as he was about to remind her not to bother him, the girl, who had just been put down, looked at Hayato intently, enunciating her words with clarity and gravity, “The club feels like it’s not going to last much longer anyway, so I’ll hang out with you right now.”"
Hayato had long anticipated this situation.
Students regulating students was a dead end.
Further education and various responsibilities would eventually take up their time, and after becoming adults, no one had the leisure to mix with students, nor could they integrate into student circles.
He really didn't want to manage it anymore, which was why he left.
Hearing Hongo Amane talk about the current situation, although he felt some regret, he didn't show it.
He just brought his index and middle fingers together and tapped her on the head.
"There are so many schools, not everyone is like me, and this kind of thing can only be managed for a while, not forever."
Hongo Amane completely ignored the slight pain of being tapped on the forehead and shouted at Hayato, "But you have the ability to do it now, don't you?!"
Hayato looked at her, sensing that she was also desperate, and said coldly, "I have no interest in spending my life taking care of others."
Hongo Amane's body trembled, and she looked at him in disbelief.
After a long time, she bit her lip, as if blaming all the difficulties and failures on Hayato.
“I won’t let you live a carefree life.”
"Don't make me angry."
Hayato dropped this sentence.
Seeing that she had no intention of walking back into the store, he turned and left.
Returning to the store, he walked down the stairs and saw the four people sitting by the tables and chairs, staring intently at him with very concerned eyes.
He didn't rush to explain to them but instead said to Seika, "Manager, I just legally evicted her, right? You have to testify for me."
"No way. You can bide your time before you go to jail."
Feeling that Seika was still as outwardly dismissive but inwardly supportive as ever, his mood instantly brightened considerably.
"Thank you."
Hayato's smiling response almost made Seika wonder if she had said the opposite of what she meant.
Walking down the stairs, Nijika glanced at the others and then eagerly asked, "Hayato, who was that?"
Hayato, with the smile he had gained from Seika, sat down in a chair unhurriedly and said, "Hongo Amane, a friend from my junior high days. I used to establish a large joint club, and she was my vice-president then."
Except for Hitori, everyone else present had heard about this and immediately understood.
Hitori also weakly asked at this point, "Hayato... what did she mean by to 'leave with her'?"
Hayato answered casually, "Ah, that, she just wants me to return to the club and continue being the president, but don't worry, I definitely won't go back."
"You've seen it, haven't you? This person is just so heartless."
Hearing this voice, Hayato again lowered his head helplessly.
She deliberately came in much later.
This woman was so annoying.
Dealing with such a stalker was really difficult.
Her behavior couldn't even be considered stalking.
Familiar with the law, he knew that calling the police in this situation would be useless.
At most, Seika could kick her out.
Thinking this, Hayato glanced at Seika, whose usually lazy and unmotivated face now held a hint of a mischievous smile, as if watching a good show.
Well, it seemed like she couldn't help.
Hayato got up and walked over, preparing to do it again.
But Hongo Amane just stood there, neither dodging nor moving.
"Whatever you want. Anyway, I have plenty of time now. I'm free to play with you."
Hayato stopped, an impatient expression on his face.
"Then I'll take you to your father's law firm."
"As you wish. He'll definitely understand me."
No way, Lawyer Hongo wouldn't want his daughter to be so willful.
But Hayato also knew that getting her family to manage her would be difficult, and that family might even laugh and not care because their daughter was entangled with him.
He had no choice but to start thinking of other solutions.
At this moment, Nijika started to realize that this person wasn't something like Hayato's old flame, and that she wasn't here to cause them trouble.
She was just someone who wanted Hayato to do what he had put aside.
And Hayato looked like he had no idea what to do with her.
So she welcomed Hongo Amane in, intending to help deal with the situation as an unrelated party.
She feigned ignorance and asked Hongo Amane for her name again, learning about her school and year.
After discovering that she came from a school that was almost half of Tokyo away and was in the same grade as Hayato and Hitori, she quickly started using nicknames, a speed that even Kita would admire.
Kita also realized Nijika's intentions.
She smiled and joined in, discussing school matters.
In the blink of an eye, it felt like the three of them had completely become familiar, affectionately calling each other, a speed that made Hitori tremble with fear.
Hongo Amane was clearly very satisfied with her successful integration into Hayato's social circle.
She glanced at Hayato, saw him sitting indifferently, then retracted her gaze and directly asked about Hayato.
"Why did Hayato suddenly start playing music?"
Nijika wasn't surprised at all that Hongo Amane asked this.
She had also asked Hayato the reason for joining the band before, and immediately replied, "Hayato told me that he wants to create relaxed and comfortable music."
“Oh, that’s really unusual. To think he actually needs music to make him feel relaxed and comfortable."
Hongo Amaha spoke as if she’d thought of something, but couldn’t quite put her finger on it.
She didn't dwell on it, looking at the five people seated around her, not at all bothered that Ishikawa Hayato was right beside her, and her gaze shifted as she asked with a smile.
"So who is Hayato-kun's girlfriend?"
