Chapter 135: Filter

Early the next morning, bathed in the beautiful sunlight, Ishikawa Hayato slowly rose, exuding an aura of a pervert.

His hair stood on end, and his expression was stern, already prepared for the day ahead.

But it wasn't until he picked up his phone and saw Kita's messages, which spanned several pages, along with a few long voice messages, that his hand trembled, and the pervert aura instantly vanished.

He quickly exited Line and turned off his phone screen.

Kita's resentment was very deep.

He felt a chill in his heart for a moment.

But just as the phone screen dimmed, it suddenly lit up again.

The accompanying ringtone startled him.

His hand trembled, and it wasn't until he saw the caller ID on the screen that he sighed in relief and answered.

"Ryo, why are you calling me so early?"

They had agreed to depart today, but the meeting time was 8:30 AM, and it was only 6:32 AM, still quite a while away.

"Ugh... Hayato, could you come to my house a bit early...?"

Ryo's sleepy voice came from the other end of the line.

After this lazy sentence drifted from the receiver, the call was suddenly hung up.

Ishikawa Hayato looked at his phone, feeling like he was about to be tricked again.

But he still chose to heed her request and go over earlier.

After packing, Ishikawa Hayato took his luggage downstairs, washed up, and headed to the dining room.

In the dining room, he saw Ishikawa Jinpei, who, even during the students' holiday, was already eating breakfast early in the morning, ready for work.

With a refreshed look, he walked up to his father, patted his shoulder, and said smugly,

"Oh, Dad, work hard! You don't have to wait for me for dinner tonight. I'm going to the beach with my beautiful girls!"

The fork scraped across the smooth plate creating a sharp sound, and Ishikawa Hayato also heard the terrifying sound of teeth grinding from the man beside him.

Then, Ishikawa Jinpei looked at his plate, and couldn't help but shed two lines of tears filled with envy, jealousy, and hatred.

"Hayato, don't tease your father."

At that moment, Ishikawa Shizuka also brought out Ishikawa Hayato's breakfast and placed it on the table.

She didn't leave after placing the breakfast but stood by the dining table with a conflicted expression.

When she saw Ishikawa Hayato sit down at the table, she finally spoke.

"Hayato, are you really going to date so many girls?"

She had clearly heard Ishikawa Hayato's earlier words and remembered what he had said about a harem before.

Ishikawa Hayato's eating motion paused.

He looked up and replied with a smile,

"Yes, I've fallen for them."

Ishikawa Jinpei, across from him, warned,

"If you anger their families, I won't go apologize with you."

How tsundere, Ishikawa Hayato sighed inwardly.

"Of course, that's my own responsibility."

As he spoke, he suddenly remembered what he had agreed upon with Hitori earlier and told the two of them,

"Dad, Mom, starting next semester, I'm going to rent my own place in Shimokitazawa."

Immediately, both their expressions turned strange; they instantly thought of the same thing.

The two thought seriously for a while, then exchanged glances.

Their attitude was different from their previous casual conversation.

Ishikawa Jinpei said earnestly,

"Since you've already made up your mind, there's nothing more for us to say. Although we trust you, we still need to remind you, don't get too carried away with your freedom."

"Understood." Ishikawa Hayato nodded with a smile.

Ishikawa Shizuka looked at him, and for some reason, she sighed with a smile.

"Have fun with the girls, but don't forget to come back occasionally. I'll give you more pocket money."

But as she saw Ishikawa Hayato's touched expression, she suddenly raised her voice and hinted subtly,

"However, if something bad happens to a girl you're dating, that money is gone!"

She believed Ishikawa Hayato knew what she was referring to.

"Understood!"

Although Ishikawa Hayato was not short of money, having invested his previous funds in stocks based on future intelligence, he still gladly accepted his family's help.

He quickly finished his meal, picked up his luggage bag, and said to his parents,

"Then I'm off! You two should also be happy while I'm not home."

His words drew a chuckle and a scolding from his father behind him.

"You brat, you're even managing us now!"

Ishikawa Hayato left home and boarded the train to Shimokitazawa.

On the train, he gazed up at the sky outside the window.

Inside the cool, dimly lit carriage, Ishikawa Hayato, alone, rode the train towards the next station.

...

'You tricked me!'

Ishikawa Hayato fiercely conveyed his complaints to Ryo with his eyes.

He was currently sitting on the sofa, with Ryo across from him, separated by a coffee table.

She covered her mouth as she yawned, looking like she hadn't had enough sleep after her second nap.

To Ishikawa Hayato's right was Ryo's mother, sitting on the middle sofa, smiling at Ishikawa Hayato.

"Oh, young people's gazes are truly passionate, Ishikawa... Hmm, let's call you Hayato-kun."

"When did Hayato-kun and Ryo start dating?"

'Not yet, I'm currently dating a junior who still looks up to her.'

Ishikawa Hayato naturally wouldn't say such a thing.

He knew there wouldn't be anything good before he came, but he didn't expect Ryo to side with her family.

But it wasn't surprising—Ryo had said...

...

"My mother wants to see you. Just say whatever."

"What leverage does she have over you?"

Ishikawa Hayato looked blankly at Ryo, who was leading him into the house.

Ryo, with sleepy eyes, turned back and smiled.

"She said if I called you over to chat with her, she'd take leave from the hospital and drive us to the villa."

...

Ishikawa Hayato looked at her, always feeling that things weren't as she said.

But since he was already here, he had no choice but to get on this pirate ship and just casually play along as she suggested.

However, he always felt that her mother wasn't someone easy to fool, Ishikawa Hayato sighed inwardly.

Besides, he would get his revenge on this troublemaker sooner or later.

Facing Ryo's mother's inquiry, the two opened their private communication channel.

Ishikawa Hayato signaled with his eyes.

'Accomplice, how should I answer?'

Ryo's eyelids lifted slightly, nonchalantly.

'Whatever you want.'

Ishikawa Hayato: 'Then I'll say we've been secretly dating for a year.'

Ryo visibly sighed, rubbed her eyes, and looked up at Ishikawa Hayato with golden pupils.

Her lazy, expressionless face clearly indicated,

'You can say that, I don't care about the consequences, and if it's amusing, I'll watch with a smile.'

Ishikawa Hayato saw that Ryo was already getting impatient, even showing a hint of patience just for his sake.

He smiled, put away his playful thoughts, and sat up straighter to answer Ryo's Mother's question.

"Ryo and I haven't officially started dating yet, right, Ryo."

Ryo gave an almost imperceptible "Mm."

The two seemed to share an invisible understanding.

Ryo's mother was surprised to see the unspoken communication between them.

As Ryos mother, she had a general idea of Ryo's social circle.

Ryo knew many people, but the only person Ryo had called a friend in the past was Nijika.

But even Nijika only followed her pace and couldn't walk alongside her, yet Ishikawa Hayato could.

Even she and her husband couldn't see through Ryo's heart.

Hearing that they hadn't started dating yet, Ryo's mother showed a slight regret.

"Is that so...?"

She tapped her index finger on her lower lip, thinking.

Previously, she and her husband had someone investigate this young man.

On the surface, he appeared to be a person of good character, excellent academic performance, and decisive with a strong personality.

This reassured them considerably, as Ryo used to play out every day, and they worried their daughter might be deceived by some uneducated, morally corrupt delinquents.

Although they also knew their precious daughter was intelligent and talented, wise and brilliant, with wisdom that reached the heavens and thoughts unmatched by anyone, she certainly wouldn't be deceived.

But she was also so beautiful and lovely, flawlessly beautiful, as divine as a heavenly child, unparalleled in the world, which just made them worry!

Seeing a more reliable potential boyfriend, she relaxed considerably.

She was not like that man who would cry every day knowing Ryo was going to the beach with a male friend.

She wouldn't miss any opportunity to get closer to Ryo.

She said with a beaming smile,

"That is a shame, Hayato-kun seem to like the things that Ryo likes too..."

Ishikawa Hayato gave an awkward laugh.

He understood what Ryo’s mother was trying to say—she simply wanted him to be kind to her daughter—but somehow her words seemed to invite misunderstanding.

He looked at Ryo across from him.

Ryo also seemed to sense there may be an underlying meaning from how her mother phrased it.

She looked a bit more awake, her gaze lingering on her mother's face for a moment, then at Ishikawa Hayato.

Shifting her gaze to Ishikawa Hayato, she noticed the embarrassment of the usually audacious young man.

She seemed to confirm something in her mind.

She let out a little giggle.

Ishikawa Hayato looked at her with a blank expression, feeling underestimated.

He communicated with his eyes.

'What's that laugh supposed to mean!'

'So you're scared of this type.'

Ryo responded with her eyes, simultaneously leaning back into the sofa.

A smug expression with a hint of an imperceptible tease on her face, she raised her leg, clad in black tights, and crossed it over the other, right in front of Ishikawa Hayato.

She had only decided to wear the pantyhose today after informing Ishikawa Hayato to come over.

Ishikawa Hayato sat directly opposite to Ryo, clearly seeing every movement of her legs.

Her full, rounded thighs pressed together, creating a sensual curve, and her calves, encased in black stockings, appeared even more slender.

Her toes hooked onto her half-fallen slippers, which she swayed pleasantly, as if playing with him like a slipper.

He was being completely underestimated!

'You just wait.'

He glared fiercely at Ryo's legs.

Ryo looked at him, her lips curving slightly, her gaze disdainful.

Ryo's Mother, sitting to their side, suddenly felt like a third wheel, and one caught in a very open display of flirting between a couple.

She wasn't in a hurry to push them together, but she wouldn't hinder them either.
